Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon put up an outstanding performance that saw the team defeat Elmina Sharks 3-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
The two clubs today locked horns in a game serving as a matchday 31 encounter of the ongoing 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league.
On the matchday, it took just 12 minutes for the hosts to break the deadlock of the game. It was thanks to Emmanuel Sarpong who found the back of the Elmina Sharks net with a fantastic strike.
Later in the 31st minute, Hanry Ainsu also scored to double the lead for Berekum Chelsea before the break.
After recess, Elmina Sharks put up a fight in a bid to get back into the game but could not succeed.
Courtesy of a strike from Collins Ameyaw in the 71st minute, Berekum Chelsea cruised to a big 3-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
The result today means that Elmina Sharks is heading for relegation at the end of the season.
