Bechem United head coach Kasim Mingle has disclosed why his side couldn’t clinch the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.
According to coach Mingle, poor decisions against the Hunters have hampered their chances of winning their first-ever league title.
Bechem United are currently 2nd on the league table with 50 points, nine points behind leaders Asante Kotoko who have a game in hand.
“We were unable to win the league not by our performance but other decisions which had been taken against us,” he told Akoma 87.9 FM.
“But we have been warned not to talk about it because one would get charged and fined the moment you fished them out.
“So I will leave it to you (the media), since you have been here watching our games, at least you have witnessed some of these decisions taken wrongly against us just to prevent us from winning the league and that is why we still remain winless in our matches.”
The Hunters have reached the finals of this season’s MTN FA Cup and will face defending champions Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara stadium on June 26, 2022.
