English National League outfit, Aldershot Town have completed signing Ghanaian forward Francis Amartey ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The 22-year-old joins the club after a stellar season with Hayes & Yeading last season, scoring 29 times as he picked up the Player of the Year award with United as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League South last season.
After signing a professional contract with Championship side Birmingham City at the start of his career, Amartey joins The Shots after representing Sutton Coldfield Town before moving to National League South side Slough Town in 2019 and was a regular in their National League South squad.
He then join most recent former side Hayes & Yeading with whom he scored seven times in his eight appearances in 2019/20, before following it up with nine goals in 13 appearances in the severely curtailed 2020/21 campaign.
However, the highly-sought after striker now joins Aldershot Town after scoring 45 times in 74 appearances for Hayes & Yeading.
