Atletico Madrid sets sight on Baba Iddrisu signing after missing out on Boubacar Kamara

Spanish La Liga outfit, Atletico Madrid are considering signing Ghana midfielder Baba Iddrisu after missing out on the acquisition of French youngster Boubacar Kamara.

The Madrid-based club in a bid to bolster its squad for the next football season had decided to try in bring in the young midfielder from Olympic Marseille.

Unfortunately, a bid from Aston Villa was too good for Marseille and the players’ camp. As a result, the English club has succeeded in securing the services of Boubacar Kamara instead.

According to sources, Atletico Madrid is now turning to plan B and has set sight on bringing in long-term target Baba Iddrisu.

The Rojiblancos tried to sign the Black Stars midfield enforcer when Thomas Partey left the club but a deal could not be reached.

This summer, Atletico Madrid are set to tempt RCD Mallorca with a bid to try and finally land Baba Iddrisu.
