Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ntim leaves Valenciennes after 8 years

Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Ntim has ended his stay at French club Valenciennes, bringing a spell of eight years to an end.

The 26-year-old defender has through a post on his Instagram page confirmed his departure from the French Ligue 2 side.

“A page that turns, it is with great emotion that I announce my departure from my club the VAFC. Eight years of good memories, I thank the Club, my teammates with whom I grew up and its educators for all that you have given me, thank you for allowing me to live my dream as well as the supporters present in the good like in bad times,” Emmanuel Ntim posted on his Instagram on Tuesday.

The defender added, “Above all, I would like to thank my family and friends who have always been there for me. I remember my debut at the academy, my first pro match, today our paths go their separate ways but you will always be in my heart. I wish VAFC great success this season.”

Today, information gathered indicates that Emmanuel Ntim is a transfer target of French Club Caen.

At the moment, nothing concrete is on the cards.

It is however only a matter of time before the experienced defender finds a new club.
