"I’m back baby" – Ghana winger Albert Adomah delighted to extend QPR contract

Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah has expressed his excitement after signing a contract extension with Queens Park Rangers.

The 34-year-old pens a two-year deal to stay at the club until 2024.

Adomah has been with the R’s for two years after initially joining his boyhood club at the start of the 2020/21 campaign.

“I’m back baby!” he said as quoted by the club’s official website. “The dream continues and hopefully it will be a successful season. I can’t wait to carry on this amazing journey.

“I spoke to the gaffer and he told me he wanted me at the club so straight away it was a no brainer.

“I can’t wait to work with him and I am also grateful to the club for allowing me to continue my dream of playing in the blue and white hoops.”

Last season, Adomah made 38 appearances for QPR, scored two goals and provided four assists across all competitions.

He has previously played for Barnet, Bristol City and Cardiff City.

The experienced winger was part of the Black Stars squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where Ghana suffered an early exit.
