The senior national team of Nigeria will be without the services of Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi when they take on Algeria in an international friendly on the 23rd and 27th of September respectively.
Nigeria will take on the B team of Algeria tomorrow before engaging the main team on the 27th of September. They will have to navigate the game without the midfielder who is one of their most influential players.
Ndidi suffered a knock which required him to return back to England for treatment effectively ruling out of the games, it means the new coach of the team Jose Peseiro is still without the chance to work with the player in a match situation since his appointment.
Peseiro has handled the team in four games since his appointment which came after the failure of the team to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar. So far he has won the two competitive games he has coached the team by beating Sierra Leone 2-1 and thrashing Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 respectively in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
