Super Eagles and Everton forward Alex Iwobi has been included in the Premier League Team of the Week.
Iwobi was included in the Team of the Week compiled by England legend Alan Shearer and published on the Premier League Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Iwobi has been impressive for Everton so far and was instrumental in their first win in the English topflight this campaign.
The former Arsenal player set up his teammate Neal Maupay, who netted the only goal in the 1-0 win against West Ham at Goodison Park at the weekend.
It was Iwobi’s third assist in the last four goals scored by Everton in all competitions.
Against West Ham he had 74 touches, made 34 passes in final third, 13 final third entries, won possession eight times, made three clearances and won three duels.
Also, he had three touches inside West Ham box, had two shots and created two chances.
Among other players who were included in the Team of the Week are Manchester City trio Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Ruben Diaz Arsenal stars Granit Xhaka, William Saliba, Gabriel and Heung-Min Son of Tottenham Hotspur.
Iwobi is currently in the Super Eagles camp in Constantine ahead of next Tuesday’s friendly with Desert Foxes of Algeria.
