Spanish giants, FC Barcelona are monitoring top Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu and could move to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish outfit since recruiting Xavi as the team’s head coach has managed to become competitive in the post-Lionel Messi era.
Although the team failed to win any trophy this season, it displayed positive signs and is now aiming to fight for trophies in the next football season.
In that regard, there are plans not only to offload some players but also to bring in new talented players for Xavi to continue rebuilding the team.
Today, footballghana has learned that Southampton and Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu is one of five defenders on the wishlist of Barcelona.
The other defenders being looked at include Pau Torres, Aymeric Laport, Jules Kounde, as well as Matthijs De Ligt.
Barcelona officials continue to keep tabs on these players and will make a decision on who to bring in when the summer transfer window comes around.
