Zamalek Got Narrow Win Over NBE To Stay Leaders Of Egyptian League

Zamalek came from behind to snatch a 2-1 narrow win over NBE club in a league game at Arab Contractors stadium on Wednesday.

Substitute striker Seif Jaziri came off the bench in the 64th minute to level the score eight minutes later, before netting the winner four minutes from time.

NBE fullback Assem Salah opened the scoring for the hosts after converting a penalty in the 55th minute of the game.

Zamalek are still at the top of the league table with 48 points. The White Knights are four points ahead of Ahly, who still have three matches in hand after beating Ghazl El-Mahalla 2-1 at Al-Ahly Stadium on Wednesday.
