Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume have arrived to the Team Nigeria camp in Birmingham following their impressive results at the just finished World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, US.
Both athletes arrived without a hitch at the Commonwealth Games Birmingham (CGB) Games Village camp early on Thursday.
Both officials and athletes gave them a hearty welcome.
Athletics experts and coaches in Team Nigeria camp believe the positive energy and momentum of both Amusan and Brume will boost the confidence of the other athletes in camp.
Amusan, the World Record holder and recently crowned World champion in the 100-meter hurdles, and long jumper Ese Brume are favorites to win gold in their respective events, just as they did at the most recent Commonwealth Games they participated in.
