Bolton player ratings vs Wycombe – Dempsey, Afolayan, Morley & Liverpool loanee Bradley great

Never really tested a great deal byt the visitors but confident when claiming crosses and corners throughout the encounter.

Gethin Jones – 8

Combined well with Bradley on the right flank and got forward well to help out attacks and cause issues for the visitors. Dependable as usual in defence.

Ricardo Santos – 8

Wanderers captain solid and dominated his opponents in the heart of defence, making countless aerial clearances and coming out with the ball when he could.

George Johnston – 7.5

Caught out defensively a little at times but otherwise a typically solid performance from the defender and got forward well from the left to combine with Iredale.

Conor Bradley – 9

Another impressive showing from the Liverpool loanee, causing problems down the right flank and combining well with the likes of Afolayan, Jones and Morley. Set up Dempsey for opening goal.

Kyle Dempsey – 9

Came into the side for Kieran Lee and took opportunity granted to him. Full of energy on and off the ball with his pressing and coolly finished to give Wanderers the lead and made no mistake with opportunity after half-time for his second.

MJ Williams – 8.5

Cleared things up nicely in front of the back four which allowed Morley and Dempsey to operate further forward. Reliable in possession throughout .

Aaron Morley – 8.5

Delightful to watch in the middle of the park and combined well with his team mates. Showed clinical edge when running through on goal to double Bolton's lead and started move for third goal.

Jack Iredale – 8

Preferred to Declan John for his competitive debut and in the left wing-back slot. Started a little slowly but grew into game during first half and put in some dangerous crosses. Continued to impress after the break.

Amadou Bakayoko – 7.5

Replaced the injured Dion Charles upfront and played well in his time on the pitch. Stretched Wycombe's defence with his pace and some great hold-up play for his team mates. Could have scored in first half and after break, but teed up Dempsey's second.

Dapo Afolayan – 9

Dropped off into number 10 role at times and caused so many problems for the Chairboys and involved in many of Wanderers' best moments. Sublime assist for Morley's goal. Did everything but get on the scoresheet.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – 7

Some good hold-up play from the Iceland international and released Dempsey with great pass which could have been his hat trick.

Kieran Sadlier – 6

Went to right wing-back after coming on.

Elias Kachunga – 6

Showed energy when coming on and showed good vision with late chance,

Declan John 5.5

Came on late to replace Iredale and nearly added fourth goal before the end.

George Thomason – 5.5

Slotted into midfield in place of Dempsey just before the end.
