Bruno Fernandes and Manchester United stars send Alex Telles message on loan move

As part of their ongoing rebuild, United signed Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord and the Dutchman has impressed in his first outings for the Old Trafford outfit. It pushed Telles further down the pecking order as Malacia gets ready to compete with Luke Shaw for a regular place in the starting XI this campaign.

Academy graduate Alvaro Fernandez was sent on loan to Preston and Telles has followed him out the door with a move to La Liga with Sevilla. Telles, 29, has made 50 appearances in two years at United and his switch comes amid designs on keeping his Brazil spot for the winter World Cup in Qatar.

Addressing his new challenge, Telles posted on Instagram: “To everyone at United; colleagues, staff, fans. I will be supporting and cheering you on all season. Thanks for the moments so far.

“I'm honoured by this opportunity. I arrive with a lot of desire to add and get the best possible results for Sevilla. I can't wait to debut and be able to help my teammates.”

Attracting thousands of likes and comments, there were some familiar faces who shared their well-wishes to the departing Brazilian as David de Gea simply posted 'Vamos' which translates into English as 'Let's go!”

Bruno Fernandes posted: “Go with everything. We're cheering here from the other side.”

Fred who will be hoping to represent Brazil alongside Telles at the World Cup said: “Let's go my brother. Fly up.”

Fernande and Fred both added red love heart emojis to their messages.
