The winger was left out of the United squad that faced Arsenal last weekend. When asked for the reason behind Sanchos absence, manager Erik ten Hag cited the 23-year-olds performances in training.
However, Sancho took issue with the United boss comments and posted a response on social media. The England international, who featured three times this season prior to the clash with the Gunners, claimed he was being made a scapegoat.
The situation has placed the forwards future at Old Trafford in doubt. It was previously reported that Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq submitted a loan offer but the Daily Mail suggested that the deal fell through due to a 50m obligation to buy.

It has since been stated by The Sun that Sancho is wanted by former club Borussia Dortmund, where he registered 114 goal involvements in 137 games during his four-year stay. Looking ahead to the January transfer window, it is claimed the German side are keeping a close eye on a possible move, having seen a similar approach turned down last winter.
Meanwhile, Donny van de Beek is another player who could be heading for the exit door in the near future. The midfielder, who was recently the subject of interest from Real Sociedad, faces a battle for first-team opportunities, given the signings of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat during the summer window.
Van de Beek has struggled to replicate his successful stint with Ajax since arriving in English football in 2020. The Netherlands international has made 24 appearances for United since the 2021/22 season and also spent time out on loan at Everton.
