After spending around 180million on Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund previously, the club have now added Altay Bayindir and Sergio Reguilon (loan) to their squad. They then secured a move for Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat before the 11pm cut-off.
Amrabat, 27, will touch down at Old Trafford on a season-long loan, while United have fronted up 10million with an option to buy in that agreement. Jonny Evans has also agreed a one-year contract.
He returned to Old Trafford on a short-term basis this summer and has impressed Erik ten Hag suitably during training sessions and pre-season appearances. Can the deadline day signings play against Arsenal?
Clubs must now submit an updated squad list with shirt numbers to the Premier League for publication. In order to be eligible this forthcoming matchday, United needed to submit documentation for signings by 12noon on Friday. Even though their match with Arsenal takes place on Sunday, the Premier League stipulates this must be done on a working day. Both Reguilon and Bayindir signed in time to feature against the Gunners but Amrabat cannot play.
