Cristiano Ronaldo reaction to beating Lionel Messi to Riyadh XI vs PSG award spotted

Ronaldo, who moved to Al-Nassr just before the turn of the new year, left United in controversial circumstances in mid-November after an interview with Piers Morgan led to his contract being cancelled by mutual consent.

The 37-year-old is yet to make his debut for Al-Nassr having served a two-match suspension for hitting a mobile phone out of a fan&aposs hand after United&aposs defeat to Everton in April. But Ronaldo captained a Saudi-All Stars team against PSG on Thursday in his first appearance in the Middle East.

In an entertaining contest PSG won 5-4 with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and others featuring at the King Fahd International Stadium. Ronaldo scored twice in the first half being brought off and was visibly surprised at winning the award.

Messi opened the scoring after just five minutes and Ronaldo levelled just after the half hour mark. A frantic end to the first-half ensued with Juan Bernat sent off for the visitors before Marquinhos restored the Ligue 1 side&aposs advantage.

Neymar then missed a penalty deep into added time and Ronaldo bagged his second for the Riyadh XI to make it 2-2. All four of those moments happened within a seven-minute spell.

The second half was similarly frantic. Sergio Ramos put PSG back in front before Hyun-Soo Jong levelled again.
