Returning striker makes Old Trafford admission

Danny Welbeck says he had Manchester United-supporting friends and family in the stands at Old Trafford, which he described as &aposdifferent&apos from his time spent at the club.

Brighton comfortably overcame United in the Premier League and Welbeck scored the opening goal of the match inside 20 minutes when finding the bottom corner after being left unmarked in the penalty box. Welbeck made his way through United&aposs academy and he left the club in 2014 to join Arsenal.

The well-taken goal was Welbeck&aposs fourth in the top-flight against his old club and that&aposs the most by any player to have played for United. However, speaking after his side&aposs victory at the famous stadium, he said it&aposs not something that he particularly pays focus to.

Reguilon outlines Casemiro influence after move

Sergio Reguilon is grateful to former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro for helping him settle in the dressing room quickly after signing for United on loan.

United signed Reguilon as a stop-gap replacement for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia on deadline day as their two senior left-backs were injured. Tottenham allowed their Spanish defender to switch to Old Trafford at short notice and he made his debut against Brighton during a 3-1 defeat.
