Former Barcelona and Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho is the blockbuster name to have moved to Qatar this summer, signing on loan from Aston Villa but it appears Van de Beek could be next. The report claims the Qatar Stars League is “of particular interest to United as they seek to trim their squad”.
It adds that Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have not progressed with their interest in the player but “there is understood to be other clubs exploring a potential move for Van de Beek”.
