Erik ten Hag gives update on Marcus Rashford’s injury ahead of Fulham vs Manchester United

United take on Fulham in the Premier League in the early kick-off on Saturday afternoon and although Rashford travelled with the squad to Craven Cottage, he&aposs not been named in the starting team and he&aposs not on the bench.

Rashford is absent from the squad despite being present with the team at Fulham and he&aposll watch the game from the stands.

Ten Hag was asked about Rashford by TNT Sports ahead of kick-off and said: “Yeah, he was travelling with us but he didn&apost make it. We tested him this morning but it was not good enough. He&aposs not fit.”

The reporter proceeded to reference Ten Hag&aposs comments saying it was &aposunacceptable&apos Rashford attended a birthday party after the Manchester derby and they asked whether he would have started if he&aposd been fit.

Ten Hag replied: “Yes, but I think we have to close that case. I have said everything about it.”

He added about the match: “It starts with the team spirit, bring it on the pitch from the first whistle and then make it our game, so put the principles in the game, do the hard work and do it together. We have to find a way to win.
