Erik ten Hag unhappy with three Arsenal decisions as Roy Keane gives scathing Manchester United verdict

Erik ten Hag says &aposmany decisions&apos went against Manchester United in their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

United fell to their second away defeat of the new Premier League season after Arsenal came from behind to inflict yet another defeat on the road. Marcus Rashford had given them the lead in the first-half, but it lasted just 25 seconds as the hosts hit back through Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal were the better side throughout and thought they had a penalty when Kai Havertz went down in the box, but a VAR check saw it overturned.

Manchester United icon Roy Keane has urged his former club to drastically improve their away form this season, citing a lack of personality as a key reason behind their woeful record last term.

Erik ten Hag guided United to a third-place finish last season as they sealed a return to the Champions League as well as ending the six-year trophy hoodoo. United won the Carabao Cup and also reached the FA Cup final in what was, generally, an impressive first campaign at the helm for the Dutchman.

However, there were one or two concerns for Ten Hag on and off the pitch. United picked up just one win away from Old Trafford against an opponent who finished in the top-half – that coming at Fulham in November. And their were dismal away showings against Man City, Liverpool and Brentford with United losing eight times on their travels last season.
