United, who have lost each of their last three league meetings with the Seagulls, will be looking to get back to winning ways after being beaten 3-1 by Arsenal prior to the international break. Despite taking the lead through Marcus Rashford, the Reds were sentenced to defeat as a result of goals from Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.
It means that Ten Hag will be determined to see a strong response from his players, who have had to deal with a lot of background noise in the build-up to this afternoon&aposs showdown. The Dutchman, as expected, has decided to make a handful of changes to the side that was beaten in north London, making three in total.
Sergio Reguilon, signed on deadline day from Tottenham Hotspur, Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund have come into the side, meaning Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial and Antony have dropped out. Diogo Dalot has been restored to his prefered right-back berth.
Meanwhile, the likes of Harry Maguire, Dan Gore and Facundo Pellistri have been named among the substitutes. However, the likes of Raphael Varane and deadline day recruit Sofyan Amrabat are unavailable through injury.
Having made the decision to make three changes to the side that was beaten by Arsenal, Ten Hag will be hoping to see a much-needed win from his side, as they look to make a winning start to what is shaping up to be a busy period. It is the omission of Pellistri from the starting line-up that has attracted the most attention from United&aposs supporters in the immediate aftermath of the team news being confirmed.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some of United&aposs supporters have had to say in response to Ten Hag&aposs decision to once again overlook the Uruguayan, who looked destined to start on the right-wing. Instead, Bruno Fernandes is set to take up the position.

As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, Ten Hag&aposs decision to leave Pellistri out of his starting line-up has not gone down well. The fans are desperate to see him awarded an opportunity from the start to prove his worth.
