The defeat has further mounted the pressure on Ten Hag, with some even calling for the manager to be relieved of his duties.

The Dutchman&aposs tactics, substitutions and signings have come in for heavy criticism as United continue to descend into chaos. However, some supporters have rushed to defend him.

Many have pointed to the promising progress that was made last season and suggested it&aposs the woeful performances of the players that are letting him down. Most of all, however, blame has been laid at the feet of the Glazers.
