Rashford lost his starting place with former interim manager Ralf Rangnick in charge last season, contributing just five goals and two assists across the full campaign, but he&aposs benefited from Erik ten Hag&aposs appointment and now looks back to his best.
After returning to full fitness and with an uninterrupted pre-season under his belt, Rashford has scored 12 goals and recorded four assists already this term and he was also in excellent form representing England at the World Cup in Qatar.
Rashford scored United&aposs third goal against Bournemouth on Tuesday night and his fourth in four games and Shaw lauded his teammate after the victory.
“Yeah, 100 per cent, I think he (Rashford]) is in a really good place,” Shaw told MUTV. “He&aposs extremely confident, looking so sharp and he kind of smells out the areas to be in to score the goals and I think you saw that tonight with the goal.
“He was in the right area, at the right time and he&aposs getting on the scoresheet more and more. He&aposs adding that to his game now and I think he&aposs going in the direction of a world-class payer, so hopefully, he can keep it up.
