Man City fans cast verdict on transfer window and predict Premier League finish

After last seasons Treble success, belief in the team is sky-high with a turnover of players this summer not denting expectations. Never before has a team won four consecutive English top-flight titles.

However, a whopping 91 per cent of the 1,500 City fans who voted in a Manchester Evening News poll predict that the Blues will do just that. Only 6.3 per cent of readers think City are destined for second with the few remaining voters forecasting a third-place finish or lower.

Just under 51 per cent of City-supporting readers said they are delighted with their club&aposs transfer deadline with a further 39.6 per cent also satisfied with how the window panned out.

In fact, 49.3 per cent are so pleased with their sides work that they do not want to see any more additions in January. That said, most believe at least one new face should be beckoned in.
