Spain are already qualified for the Euros, and can seal a top seed spot ahead of Scotland as long as they match the Scots&apos result against Norway. They host fourth-placed Georgia on Sunday, and have been boosted by Rodri&aposs return to fitness after missing their win at Cyprus last week.
Rodri was left out of that game, apparently after reporting a discomfort, but was back in contention on Sunday to finally give City some good injury news during the international break.
So far, Nathan Ake, Ederson, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes and Erling Haaland have all picked up injuries or withdrew from international duty for fitness reasons. They join Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Sergio Gomez on the growing injury list.
An injury to Rodri would have been felt more than others, especially considering City lost three games from three when he was suspended last month.
