Man City star Erling Haaland’s agent issues update on his future amid Real Madrid links

The Norwegian international, who joined City from Borussia Dortmund in July last year, has been regularly linked with a move to the Spanish giants in recent months following his outstanding start to life in England. He plundered 52 goals in 53 appearances last season and has already scored 17 times this term.

His form, unsurprisingly, has increased speculation about his future and the prospect of a move to the Spanish capital. Madrid are believed to be long-term admirers of the striker and talk of a move next summer has been rife.

But despite the ongoing speculation, Pimenta, who has a series of high-profile clients on her books, is adamant that Haaland will only move, should he do so, when the time is right for him and City. She has also confirmed that Haaland is not the type of person to have his head turned by any potential suitors and turn his back on City.

“Erling is the master of his destiny,” Pimenta told Relevo. “Not just now but his entire life and 100 per cent.”

Asked if that means Haaland will be able to choose where he plays next season, Pimenta continued: “What I mean is that you have to use balance. We, club and player. We are all in the same boat.

“Things have to be talked about, treated, in such a way that everyone is okay. Comfortable and satisfied with the experience, they live together.
