Manchester United ‘target’ Marcus Thuram ‘offered’ to Barcelona and more transfer rumours

According to Mundo Deportivo, the French forward has been offered to Barcelona, while United, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan and PSG are also thought to be interested in the player. The 25-year-old, who has registered 14 goals and four assists in all competitions this season, is out of contract at the end of the campaign.

It adds that the Bundesliga outfit are resigned to losing the striker, who is attracting interest from several Premier League sides. The report also claims that Thuram will be &aposone of the bargains of the next transfer market&apos. The frontman has registered 32 goals in 102 appearances in the German top-flight.

Erik ten Hag is expected to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window, with Anthony Martial having struggled with injury this season and Cristiano Ronaldo having left the club in November. Wout Weghorst, who signed on loan from Burnley in January, has scored just once for the Reds.

Elsewhere, The Sun reports that United are set to lose out to Chelsea in the race to sign wonderkid Kendry Paez. The 15-year-old is highly rated, but he would not be able to feature for any new club until his 18th birthday in 2025.

Chelsea are close to reaching a verbal agreement with Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle to sign the youngster, according to Fabrizio Romano.
