Manchester United ‘targeting’ AC Milan forward Rafael Leao and more transfer rumours

Erik ten Hag still needs to add more goals to his United side and will look to bring in a new attacker next summer. Rasmus Hojlund arrived for 72million but is yet to score in the Premier League, while Marcus Rashford&aposs form has dropped and Anthony Martial could leave as a free agent.

Leao has often been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent years and now Calciomercato has named the Reds as one of three interested parties. The Portuguese winger was spotted arguing with manager Stefano Pioli after being substituted in the 90th minute of Sunday&aposs 2-2 draw at Napoli.

Leao only signed a new five-year deal in June and so Milan are in the driving seat regarding his future. The report adds that if there continues to be a deterioration in the relationship between player and manager, however, a sale could benefit all involved. Manchester City are also said to have held an interest, although it is Paris Saint-Germain who will most likely make a move.

Elsewhere, TEAMtalk reports that United are keeping tabs on Trevoh Chalobah&aposs situation with the defender potentially set to be forced out of Chelsea.

Chalobah has not played a single minute of competitive football this season, having picked up a hamstring injury over the summer. The 24-year-old looked set to leave Chelsea in the summer but a deal fell through.
