News From Manchester: ‘As soon as Erik ten Hag touches down’ – Manchester United fans react to Donny van de Beek goal

Erik ten Hag was in attendance at Selhurst Park for United's clash with Crystal Palace as Wilfried Zaha ensured his side claimed all three points. While United wilted in the capital, Van de Beek opened his account for Everton in north London.

Van de Beek was a first-half substitute for the Toffees as he replaced Abdoulaye Doucoure. It was his first minutes for Frank Lampard's side since their defeat to Wolves in March after struggling through injury.

He pulled a goal back for the visitors after he was in the right place at the right time to tuck away into an empty net from a cut-back. However, their avenue back into the clash was short-lived as the Champions League chasers fired twice within three minutes to add a three-goal cushion.
