News From Manchester: Liverpool FC captain Jordan Henderson offers unapologetic opinion about rivals Manchester United

The Reds have already lifted the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this season. They were denied an unprecedented Quadruple after Manchester City pipped them to the Premier League title on the final day of the season.

Liverpool fans have been able to enjoy the demise of their fierce rivals this term, with both United and Everton enduring woeful campaigns. Ahead of his side's European final with Real Madrid, Henderson gave a blunt response when asked by GQ about the struggles at Goodison Park and Old Trafford.

I don't really care about other people or other teams, he said. I was just focused on what we want to do and what we want to achieve as a team.

And we're not too concerned about everybody else. That's the last thing I'll be thinking about. United suffered a 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford in October before their 4-0 defeat at Anfield in April.
