It&aposs coming up two years since United sacked the Norwegian and Solskjaer has yet to take up another coaching challenge. The 50-year-old told Norwegian outlet NRK he had been approached about, potentially, taking over as the Norway Women&aposs team manager.
However, while Solskjaer said he would be open to helping out where possible, he also stated that he could take on another job in the men&aposs game. So where will Solskjaer pitch up? Speaking immediately after Solskjaer was sacked by the club, ex-United captain turned pundit Neville said: “In the past he&aposs always had that result to pull him out of the mire. This time results have got worse and worse, and worse, the team have been all over the place.
“The first thing is the performances. The team have looked all over the place. Ole couldn&apost get a performance out of them in the end.”

Ferdinand sang from a similar hymn sheet before and after Solskjaer was handed his P45 in December 2021. On his FIVE podcast, he said: “I sit here and don&apost think we can challenge for a league. I look at our team every week wondering what are we gonna do tactically.
“I don&apost see any philosophy or identity in the United way of playing – whatever that should be – from the management. I sit here looking confused at the team.”
