Ederson suffered an impact injury against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. However, the Brazil goalkeeper – who has since withdrawn from international duty this month – was able to continue and play the entire 90 minutes during a hugely-memorable eight-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge.

Kovacic was involved in the Chelsea game as a second-half substitute. However, the Croatia midfielder has since picked up a muscular problem and won&apost feature for his country against Latvia and Armenia.

Ake picked up an injury before the Chelsea match and, as such, was unavailable for that Stamford Bridge thriller. City or Guardiola have yet to provide an update on the centre-back, but did withdraw from Netherlands duty for Euro 2024 qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar.
