By the end of the campaign, it is predicted that United will be 12 points behind Newcastle in fourth. Worryingly for the Reds, the algorithm believes Ten Hag&aposs men have just a 3.1 per cent chance of finishing in the top four while a bid for the title is out of the question.
Meanwhile, the news is better for City. The Blues may have dropped points in a thrilling 4-4 draw on Sunday but the supercomputer still thinks they will finish the campaign as champions.
The technology backs Pep Guardiola&aposs men to finish five points above runners-up Arsenal securing 85 points in the process. In terms of the likelihood of City winning the title, BETSiE believes there is a strong 58.8 per cent chance of this happening while it will be virtually impossible for the Blues to finish lower than fourth.
