The 15 Manchester United players Cristiano Ronaldo follows on Instagram

The 37-year-old left the Reds by mutual agreement following his controversial TV interview with Piers Morgan. He criticised his then manager Erik ten Hag, the club&aposs owners and several of his former teammates. Ronaldo also claimed that United had &aposbetrayed&apos him.

Ronaldo had only scored three goals in 16 appearances for Ten Hag&aposs side prior to the World Cup in Qatar. The former Real Madrid ace, who had fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, also refused to come on as a substitute in the victory over Tottenham on October 19.

Despite his controversial exit from Old Trafford, several United players still spoke glowingly about the veteran frontman after his departure – and it appears that he still maintains a good relationship with the majority of his former teammates.

Ronaldo is the most followed individual on Instagram, with the 37-year-old boasting 524million followers, as of December 2022.

He still follows the majority of his ex-Reds teammates on the social media platform. Currently, 15 of the 522 accounts he follows are United players.

David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga and Alejandro Garnacho are all followed by Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese attacker also follows Eric Bailly and Alex Telles, who are both out on loan for the duration of the season.
