Meulensteen was part of Ferguson&aposs coaching staff for the final six years of his reign at United, having previously spent time as coach of United&aposs reserves. And the Dutchman admits that while money has been spent, Ten Hag isn&apost the only manager to not get the players he wanted.
We never felt any kind of influence on us on a daily basis, Meulensteen told The Guardian of his time working under the Glazers. I doubt theres any influence now because the Glazers are 4,000 miles away.
