The family have been at the helm since 2005, and have been the target of criticism from fans ever since because of the way they bought the club and also their running of it over the last 18 years. Fans are hoping that Ratcliffe&aposs investment might be the beginning of the end of the Glazer era, but there&aposs no sign of that happening imminently.
The MEN looks at the six Glazer siblings who own United in a little more detail.
Avram Glazer owns eight companies alongside his role as co-chairman of United, alongside his brother, Joel. He has been the chairman of the Innovate Corporation since 2020.
Back in his youth, Avram received an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a graduate degree from American University Washington College of Law. He used to be the chief executive officer for the Zapata Corporation and the Omega Protein Corporation.

The 56-year-old is on the board of nine other companies alongside his work at United. He used to be the co-chairman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL team.
Joel received an undergraduate degree at an American university before following his father into the world of business.
Bryan is the current co-chairman of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL team. He is on the board of 13 other companies.
The 58-year-old received an undergraduate degree from American University and was awarded with a graduate degree from Whittier Law School. Many of his other current business ventures are tied in with United.
Kevin is the founder and CEO of Glazer Properties. He is on the board of eight other companies alongside this.
Kevin, 60, received an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College before moving into the world of work. He became Co-Chairman of the First Allied Corporation that his father used to own before his death in 2014.
Edward oversees the day-to-day operations at Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the other co-chairman of the NFL club. He also works on the board for six other companies, including the Glazer Family Foundation where he is also a co-chairman.
In the past, the 53-year-old was a co-chairman on the First Allied Corporation. He was an undergraduate at Ithaca College.
