Earlier it was reported that AC Milan are said to be interested in VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy but according to Bild, Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old.
At Newcastle, Guirassy can fulfil a dream of playing in the Premier League, however, at the Saudi-owned club, he will likely only be a backup option to former Borussia Dortmund striker Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson. While Atletico Madrid have also expressed an interest in Guirassy, no club has yet to make an official approach for the 27-year-old.
One place Guirassy will not be going is Saudi Arabia, the striker has rejected several offers from clubs to move to the Middle East in the winter as he wants to continue playing at a high level.
Guirassy has been one of the stars in the hinrunde this season. Despite a brief injury setback, the Guinean is second in the goalscoring tally with 15, two behind Harry Kane whilst also missing two games through injury. However, the 27-year-old has continued to keep his future open and has yet to commit to Stuttgart for the second half of the season.
