Eintracht Frankfurt face Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the Champions League on Wednesday night as they look to overcome a 2-0 deficit. However, they will be without two key players: Randal Kolo Muani and Jesper Lindstrøm.
Kolo Muani was sent off just before the hour mark in the reverse fixture and misses the game against Napoli, who lead the Serie A. The Frenchman has scored 16 and created 14 in 34 games across all competitions in his debut season for Eintracht Frankfurt after joining the Hessen club on a free transfer from Nantes. In place of Kolo Muani, expect Rafael Borré to start, who was the hero in last season’s Europa League winning campaign.
But if Eintracht are to advance, they’ll also have to do it without Lindstrøm. The Dane was injured in training and will miss the game, and so expect to see Daichi Kamada in an advanced role alongside Mario Götze.
In defence, Makoto Hasebe is expected to come into a back-three alongside Tuta and Evan Ndicka.
Kevin Trapp – Tuta, Makoto Hasebe, Evan Ndicka – Aurélio Buta, Sebastian Rode, Djibril Sow, Philipp Max – Daichi Kamada, Mario Götze – Rafael Borré.
