Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo sang his historic achievement, which he achieved yesterday, Thursday, in his country’s victory over Ghana (3-2), in the first round of Group H in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Ronaldo signed the first goal for Portugal from the penalty mark, thus becoming the first player in history to score in 5 copies of the World Cup.
Ronaldo said, through his Facebook account: “Registering in 5 copies of the World Cup is an achievement that I did not dare to dream about, but it proves that there is nothing impossible.”
He added, “The pride I feel when representing Portugal can only be compared to the happiness I feel every time I score a goal for my country and it translates into a victory for our fans. Let’s go, this is just the beginning.”
It is noteworthy that Ronaldo scored one goal in the “Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014” versions, while he scored 4 goals in the Russia 2018 version.
