Ghana defender Musah Nuhu signs St Gallen contract extension

Ghana defender Musah Nuhu has signed a new contract extension with Swiss Super League side St Gallen.

Nuhu, who joined the club permanently in 2019 has penned a two-year deal with Espen until 2024.

The hardworking defender finished last season as one of the fine Ghanaian defenders abroad.

The 25 year old made 10 appearances for St Gallen across all competitions due to injuries and was named in the League’s Team of the Week twice.

He joined the Swiss side from WAFA after helping the Sogakope-based club finish as runners-up in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League last season.

Nuhu was a member of Ghana squad that won the maiden edition of the WAFU Cup of Nation which was held in Cape Cost Sports in 2017.

He was also part of the Black Stars provisional squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
