Latest Football News From Manchester: Manchester United fixture changes and TV times in October confirmed by Premier League

After finishing sixth last season, United missed out on Champions League qualification – but they did make it to the supplementary European competition. It means Erik ten Hag and his United squad will encounter several fixtures on Thursday nights throughout the campaign.

As such, that is likely to impact their domestic schedule further when United were pencilled in for Saturday games. Several changes have now been confirmed for October by the Premier League – and it already is shaping up to be a crucial month.

Ten Hag and his players take on Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham – plus others – in a month that also begins with the small matter of the Manchester derby. United head to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, October 2 but the kick-off time had still to be confirmed by broadcasters.

Initially set to take place on the Saturday, the fixture could yet be moved once again based on where Pep Guardiola and his star-studded City team play in the Champions League that following week. However, the other five matches for October have been re-scheduled with revised start times.
