Latest Football News From Manchester: Sir Alex Ferguson names two of the toughest Premier League games for Manchester United

The legendary Manchester United manager has admitted that visits to Elland Road and Upton Park provided 'hassle' and were 'difficult'.

United have enjoyed a historic rivalry with Leeds, which has been renewed this season following the Whites' return to the Premier League.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were dominant victors at Old Trafford, they are yet to travel to West Yorkshire for the reverse fixture.

With no fans in attendance, the tie may have lost some of it's kick and Ferguson's comments have identified the challenge Leeds provide.

You dont really pay attention to that (rival fans), your focus is on the game. I remember arriving at one or two grounds when there was a bit of hassle, but nothing really serious,” he told A Team Talk With Legends.

“The grounds at West Ham and Leeds United were difficult, the fans were very vocal against us when we arrived, but during the game, the focus was too much on the actual game.
