A total of 24 teams will take part in the competition, 12 from England's top flight and a further 12 made up of invited teams from across Europe. Those 24 teams have been split into three groups of eight with United having been drawn in Group B.
The young Reds have been joined in Group B alongside Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, West Ham United, Sparta Prague, AS Monaco, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord. United will not face any of the Premier League teams in the group stages and all of their fixtures will be at Leigh Sports Village.

United will be able to field a maximum of five outfield players and a goalkeeper over the age of 21. All the United group stage fixtures below are subject to change.
