According to Spanish publication SPORT, Barcelona is once again targeting Euro 2020 winner Jorginho from Chelsea.

The veteran midfielder is nearing the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge and could switch to a new destination.

With Xavi looking to replace Busquets with an experienced customer like the Spaniard, Jorginho could be an ideal signing for the Spanish heavyweights.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona are open to accepting any offer in the range of €50m for winger Ferran Torres in order to generate revenue following their Champions League group stage exit.

Despite signing for Barcelona last season for €55m Torres has gone down the pecking order and is looking for playing time, with interest from many European clubs.

Barcelona manager Xavi (via Fabrizio Romano) stated that veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets will remain at the club till the end of the season, and afterwards, it will be decided whether he renews or leaves as a free agent.

As per Fichajes, Chelsea are keen on signing Barcelona starlet Alejandro Balde to reinforce their fullback positions.

Balde’s contract will expire at the end of 2024, with Barcelona desperate to renew him. Chelsea will be looking to make most of this uncertainty to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona could be looking to offload former AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessie, after signing him just six months ago. According to reports in Sport, Antonio Conte’s Spurs have made a bid for the midfielder.

Barcelona had initially planned to renew only Marcos Alonso and Alejandro Balde’s contracts, with veteran Sergi Roberto, who has stuggled for form and fitness in recent times, set to leave Camp Nou free at the end of the season.

If he continues his performances Barcelona may consider matching PSV’s asking price of €50m but will have to ward off Manchester United’s interest.

As per El Nacional, Barcelona manager Xavi Hernández has requested the club administration to not sell Frenkie de Jong and Marc-André Ter Stegen.

Barcelona need to generate revenues after their disastrous UCL campaign that saw them exit in the group stage itself. The club are considering selling De Jong and Ter Stegen who could reportedly get them €80m.

Marco Asensio’s current deal at the Bernabeu expires at the end of this season, and that has seen him being extensively linked with a move to rivals Barcelona.

However, contrary to recent reports in Spain, Asensio has claimed that he is happy with his current situation at Real Madrid and has suggested that he does not see Barcelona as a future option.

Barcelona manager Xavi does see De Jong as a part of his plans, but may have to let go of him to secure Silva’s signing.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernández is not interested in signing Wolves midfielder Rúben Neves, according to El Nacional.

As per the report, Xavi doesn’t think Neves is ideal for Barcelona’s current 4-3-3 setup. He does however feel the Portuguese midfielder would be ideal in a two-man pivot but doesn’t feel that the club’s tactics should change to accommodate him.

Reportedly the two former teammates have been in constant communication with one another and Messi will only play at Barca again under Xavi.

Xavi has had a good start to the season in the league, with his side on top of the table heading into the World Cup break. However, the early exit from the Champions League has put him under some pressure.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta will have to keep Xavi, irrespective of how the season ends if he wishes to see Messi at Camp Nou again.

The club wants to reinforce the right-back position, with Diogo Dalot, Juan Foyth, and Benjamin Pavard on Blaugrana’s shortlist.

The Catalans would be open to sell Kessié – who arrived for free in the summer – given their precarious financial condition, with Aston Villa ready to offer €14 million and Fulham ready to offer €22 million for the 25-year-old.

Kessié found himself on the periphery under Xavi before suffering an injury in a Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen.

“I’ve never received any proposal from Inter or any other club. I always wanted to stay at Barça,” Alba told Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalans want to add depth to their midfield for the second half of the season, and believe the Manchester City man to be a versatile midfielder who can play in both a single-pivot role and as an interior in a midfield three.

It is, however, unlikely that Pep Guardiola and the Cityzens would let such a move materialize.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta discussed the return of Lionel Messi to the Camp Nou, stating that the club will always be his home.

The reigning Serie A champions are keeping a close eye on his position at FC Barcelona. And if he does not sign a new contract with the Catalan club, the Rossoneri will launch a pursuit for the 19-year-old rising star.

Alejandro Balde has long been regarded as one of Spain’s most promising full-backs during his years at Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, and is enjoying a breakout campaign under Xavi, but has just two years to run on his current Camp Nou deal.

Barcelona have been handed a boost in their quest to sign Borussia Dortmund’s in-demand striker Youssoufa Moukoka, with the youngster stalling signing a new deal, as per Sport Bild.

Dortmund have already tabled a contract offer ready for the young striker to sign for some time now. This new deal would see the 17-year-old’s salary bump to €5m per year, but the German youth international has been reluctant in putting pen to paper.

Catalan boss Xavi is interested in bringing Girona defender Arnau Martinez to Camp Nou as he looks to improve right-back options at his disposal, according to Diario Sport.

Sergi Roberto is sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a long-term injury, leaving Hector Bellerin as the club’s only natural option for the position.

The problem that could arise for the Catalan side is that he is under contract until June 2025. Girona’s asking price is believed to be around €20 million. It remains to be seen whether Barca can afford the signing despite their current financial woes.

Todo Fichajes has reported that Barcelona might back out from signing Jorginho next summer. The Italian midfielder has been heavily linked to a move to Spain but his high wages might force Barcelona to look for other options.

According to SPORT, Barcelona have reportedly made efforts to place themselves at front of the long queue to sign young Borussia Dortmund star Youssoufa Moukoko.

The Blaugrana view the Dortmund prodigy as the eventual replacement for 34-year-old talisman Robert Lewandowski, but will have to fend off competition from European rivals Juventus, Real Madrid and Liverpool to be able to bring in the 17-year-old.

The teenage forward has started this campaign in brilliant form in the Bundesliga side’s first-team, scoring six goals and four in 12 Bundesliga games.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona is eyeing three key defenders as Gerard Pique’s replacement. The Spanish veteran retired from football after playing his last game for the Catalans. The Spanish giants are closely monitoring Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig as Pique’s replacement. The young Croatian defender has impressed elites across Europe with his outstanding performances and is being closely watched by Chelsea as well.

According to AS, Barcelona are reportedly prepared to launch the offensive for Las Palmas wonderkid Alberto Moleiro in January, who is also the subject of interest from Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.

Moleiro, 19, has a €30m buyout clause at Las Palmas until 2026, but this cost will double if the Segunda División club gets promoted back to the Spanish top flight this term.

This is not for the first time Barca have been linked to the highly-rated midfielder. The Catalans failed to secure his signature last summer owing to their financial woes, and plan to revive their interest in the Las Palmas youth product in January, with the intention of loaning him back until the end of the season.

According to El Nacional, Napoli are pursuing left back Jordi Alba, who could be on his way out of Barcelona in the January transfer window.

Alba, 33, has battled for regular playing time under coach Xavi, featuring in only 648 minutes of La Liga and Champions League action. Alba is one of the highest-paid players at Barcelona, and the club is looking to make free up space on the wage bill in the coming months.

Barcelona have joined the race for soon-to-be-free-agent Wilfried Zaha and will compete with Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea for the Ivorian international.

That’s according to the Evening Standard, which claims the Blaugrana reckon the 29-year-old as a good fit for their attack owing to his pace, power, directness, and finishing.

Zaha, 29, will be out-of-contract at the end of the season, with foreign clubs able to negotiate a pre-contract as early as this upcoming January.

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona will renew their pursuit of Manchester City star Bernardo Silva in January courtesy of Gerard Pique’s abrupt retirement.

The Catalans are expected to make a lot of additions in January all across the board, and manager Xavi Hernandez is said to consider Silva as a key component of his long-term vision at the Camp Nou.

The Spanish giants were strongly linked with the Portugal international throughout this past summer window, and they are now apparently optimistic that they have the finances to complete a move thanks to Pique’s impending retirement, which will free up room on their wage bill for a big-money, high-profile superstar signing.

Silva, 28, is still eager to join Camp Nou but City are reluctant to let him leave.

Following Gerard Piqué’s announcement regarding his retirement, Xavi has confirmed that Barcelona will sign a centre-back in January, with Iñigo Martínez among the shortlisted players according to Fabrizio Romano.

“We will go for a centre back in January, it will be a priority as Piqué has decided to leave.”

Xavi confirms Barça plan to sign new centre back: “We will go for a centre back in January, it will be a priority as Piqué has decided to leave”. 🔵🔴 #FCBBarcelona are exploring options with Iñigo Martínez in the list since long time, decisions will be made during World Cup.

Gerard Piqué announced his retirement from football on Thursday night, with the 35-year-old set to leave Barcelona mid-season. Now, the Catalans are working to terminate the centre-back’s contract.

Barça president Laporta: “Gerard Piqué will always be a symbol of Barcelona. We’re in the process for financial agreement to terminate the contract – he wants to help the club”. 🔵🔴 #FCB”He understands our financial situation”. Pique’s contract will be terminated next week.

PSG’s 17-year-old academy prospect Ilyes Housni has caught the eyes of those at Barcelona, according to Le 10 Sport.

The centre-forward has scored eight goals and registered two assists in the ongoing UEFA Youth League, helping Les Parisiens to qualify for the Round of 16.

Housni’s contract is set to expire on June 30, 2023, and PSG are in talks with his representatives to strike a new deal. The Blaugrana, however, are magnetised by the player’s potential and will go all hands on deck to acquire Housni.

According to Evening Standard, Barcelona would like to explore the possibility of signing Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha ahead of the next season.

The Catalans already ahead Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski to the attack last season, so it’s unsure how Zaha would fit in. Regardless, he would a steal for any team given he’ll be signed for free after the expiration of his contract.

Despite signing a new long-term contract until 2027 with his Basque club, Martin Zubimendi remains Xavi Hernandez’s first-choice Sergio Busquets replacement.

Zubimendi’s contract includes a €90m (£78.5m) release clause, however, according to Sport, Barcelona are still determined to bring him to Camp Nou during next summer’s transfer window.

With Jorginho pressing for a new deal at Chelsea, Barcelona are looking at alternative midfield options, and Xavi reckons the Real Sociedad midfielder’s profile strongly matches for the Busquets role. However, the 23-year-old’s astronomical buyout clause could be a sticking point given Barca’s ongoing financial woes.

Barcelona are already making moves in the market to replace Gerard Pique after the legendary defender announced his impending retirement by unexpectedly on Thursday.

Inigo Martinez is the main candidate to succeed Piqué in mid-2023 and according to Diario Sport, they will sign the soon-to-be-out-of-contract Athletic Bilbao centre-back on the 1st of July next year.

The report adds that Barcelona have a deal in place with Martinez, who was subject of interest this summer, to sign a deal when his contract expires next summer, with the 31-year-old looking for a change of scenery.

Barcelona and Spanish legend Gerard Piqué has announced that he’ll be leaving FC Barcelona mid-season and retiring.

The player posted a video on his social media where he said that Barcelona’s game against Almeria at the Camp Nou on Sunday would be his last.

“I’ve always said that after Barça there would be no other team and that’s the way it will be,” the Barcelona

Culers, us he de dir una cosa.

Barcelona right-back Héctor Bellerín, whose contracts expires at the end of the season, has expressed his desire to continue at the Camp Nou.

“I want to sign a new deal as I want to stay here at Barça, I’m really happy”, the 27-year-old told Catalunya Radio (via @FabrizioRomano).

“Projects take time, it’s normal in football. We trust Xavi, 100%”.

According to Sport, Barcelona want Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to be the next manager to take over the reigns at the Camp Nou.

Xavi has led the Catalans to a good start in La Liga, although they crashed out of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and dropped to the Europa League.

Barcelona are reportedly considering Mikel Arteta as their next boss 👀🇪🇸

Barcelona have been interested in bringing back their academy graduate and current RB Leipzig star, Dani Olmo, to Camp Nou. They have tried multiple times in the previous windows to secure the move but failed due to economic reasons.

According to Fichajes, the Blaugranas now face stiff competition from Manchester United and Manchester City for the signing of the Spaniard.

According to Sport, Barcelona are considering making a move for the Bayern Munich’s wantaway full-back Benjamin Pavard, whose contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2024.

Pavard, 26, has been identified as the first-choice option for Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez as the Catalans look to bring in a new regular right-back, with both Sergi Roberto and Hector Bellerin out-of-contract at the end of the season.

Frenkie de Jong has reportedly decided against a move away from Barcelona midway through the season despite strong interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea, according to Diario Sport.

The Spanish outlet claim De Jong no intentions of leaving Barcelona at the turn of the year, and has ruled out a mid-season move.

The report adds that the 25-year-old playmaker is ‘clear and firm’ in his stance on his Barça future, which comes as a huge blow to long-term admirers Man United and other suitors.

Barcelona are looking forward to offload some players in the upcoming winter transfer market and Memphis Depay could be on the list of players on their way out.

According to reports from the Sport, Juventus were keen on bringing the Dutch forward to Turin in the summer but couldn’t match his salary demands but now they can and are looking to secure his signature before a bidding war begins.

Barcelona continue looking at options to add depth to their squad and give Xavi more options. The Blaugranas are reportedly keen on signing Villarreal’s 21-year-old winger, Nicolas Jackson, whose contract ends on June 30th, according to reports by Mundo Deportivo.

The Senegalese winger has scored twice and provided three assists in 11 appearances this season for the Yellow Submarine.

Barcelona continue to dream of bringing Lionel Messi back to Camp Nou and have been plotting move for the upcoming transfer windows. According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Barcelona now face stiff competition from Inter Miami for signing Lionel Messi.

The MLS club is said to be growing increasingly confident and hope to get the deal over the line in the coming months. PSG are also adamant on keeping the Argentine legend and are pushing for a renewal.

According to Franck Kessié’s agent, all the rumours about the former AC Milan man wanting to leave the club are false.

“It’s all fake news, totally false. He is happy in Barcelona and he doesn’t want to leave,” he told Mundo Deportivo, via Fabrizio Romano.

“Franck has only been at the club for a few months, still in the process of adapting to the team and Barça’s style of play.”

Newcastle United are ready to bid €50m for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to lure him away from Camp Nou, reports El Nacional.

Furthermore, the report states that the Magpies are also willing to offer Ter Stegen a blank cheque. Barcelona won’t let go of him easily, however, with their knockout from the Champions League, they need revenues to stabilise the club and Ter Stegen’s sale could help.

According to the Daily Star, Barcelona are ready to splash money on signing Newcastle United’s midfield general Bruno Guimarães in the winter transfer window.

The Brazilian has been brilliant for the Magpies ever since making the switch from Lyon last season, and has received interest from many top clubs across Europe.

Rated at £60 million, the Catalans will hope to offload Frenkie de Jong in January for a sizable fee, which would help them spend the money on the signing of Guimarães without much hassle.

Spanish outlet Sport has reported that FC Barcelona is aiming to bring their poster boy, Lionel Messi, back to Camp Nou in January instead of next summer. The Argentine had recently been linked heavily to the club where he spent more than a decade of his playing career after switching ships to PSG two seasons ago. But after FC Barcelona has been pushed to the UEFA Europa League for the second season running, Xavi wants Messi to return to Spain in January and help the Catalans reach glory again

Sport has reported that Chelsea’s veteran midfielder Jorginho could hear offers from FC Barcelona as early as January. Despite pressuring the North London outfit for a contract extension, Jorginho could be prepared to switch ships to Spain if Chelsea does not offer him a pay rise. Xavi would be hopeful to get Jorginho’s services considering he could perfectly replace Sergio Busquets in the starting eleven.

Barca’s financial problems continue as the Catalan outfit faces another expense in their hunt for silverware. The club would have to pay Robert Lewandowski’s former club €1.25m every time the Polish striker touches the 25 goals tally in a season, reports BILD. After 16 games this summer, the Polish striker has touched double digits taking his goal-scoring tally to 17 and Joan Laporta has to be prepared to pay the upcoming amount.

According to Albert Rogé and Toni Juanmartí of Relevo, Barcelona’s sports management and coaching staff have found the player to replace Sergio Busquets: N’Golo Kanté.

Even though Busquets’ contract expires in June 2023, the club believes that the 34-year-old’s time is up at the Camp Nou and that he should be offloaded at the end of the current season.

As such, the Blaugrana are exploring the market for the best players to replace Busquets, and have reportedly narrowed the list down to just one player, which is Kanté.

According to Joaquim Piera of Sport, Barcelona haven’t given up on their desire to sign Brazilian sensation Endrick, who has been the centre of a lot of transfer rumours recently.

Teams like PSG and Real Madrid are serious in their ambition to sign the 16-year-old, but Piera reports that the communication between Palmeiras and Barcelona remains fluid.

However, it will be tough for the Catalans as the player can’t represent any European team before 2024 and it would be unlikely that they trigger Endrick’s €60 milliion release clause anytime soon, given their financial constraints.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona are looking to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo to reinforce their attacking strength in January.

Olmo is reportedly favoured by Barcelona manager Xavi, and currently is not pleased with his involvement in RB Leipzig’s games, therefore he may be reconsidering his future.

As per the report, Barcelona are hoping Olmo’s time in their academy is enough to give them an advantage over other clubs trying to sign him.

According to Fichajes, PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré is seen by Barcelona as an alternative to Sergio Busquets in their midfield pivot.

Busquets’ contract expires next summer, and the noticeable drop in his recent performances indicates he won’t be renewed. Sangaré has impressed for PSV and would bring something new to Barcelona’s midfield particularly with his goalscoring prowess.

According to El Nacional, Barcelona have identified Lazio goalkeeper Luís Maximiano and Fiorentina goalkeeper, Alban Lafont, as options for the future in case Marc-André ter Stegen’s injury issues continue.

Despite Ter Stegen’s excellent start to the season, there are worries in Barcelona over his injury history, therefore the club wants to get adequate cover in the goalkeeping position.

Barcelona are looking at Ajax midfielder Edson Álvarez as an option to replace Sergio Busquets if he leaves next season, reports Sport.

Busquets’ performances have fallen massively this season with the Spanish midfielder set to end his 15-year-career at Barcelona and reportedly move to the MLS after his contract expires next summer.

Álvarez has impressed for Ajax in the last few seasons and was sought out by Chelsea, with the Blues narrowly missing out on him in the last transfer window.

Barcelona have been keeping an eye on Wolves and Portugal midfielder, Ruben Neves, for a while now. The Catalan giants are now said to be in advanced talks with Wolves for a January transfer, according to Sport. The Blaugranas are exploring a loan move with an obligation to buy for the 25-year-old.

Barcelona, among other teams, were interested in signing Inter Milan’s Argentine striker, Lautaro Martinez. The 25-year-old has expressed his desire to continue at Inter and dreams to become an all-time legend for the Nerazzurri, according to Fichajes.

Lautaro Martinez said in a recent interview, “I’ve been here for five years, I’m happy here at Inter, I really hope to become a club legend. I signed a new contract a year ago and I’m only focused on Inter.”

Barcelona will now look at alternatives, with names like Youssoufa Moukoko being considered as the successor Robert Lewandowski.

According to El Nacional, Barcelona are looking to sell summer signing Franck Kessié during the January transfer window.

Barcelona haven’t been impressed by Kessié so far, who has failed to adapt in his new club and is seen last in the midfield pecking order. Barca reportedly feel his wages are too high for his performances and look to let go of him.

His replacement would be La Masia product Nico González who is currently on loan in Valencia. The report states that González would immediately usurp Kessié in the midfield hierarchy once he returns, despite the difference in seniority.

Bellerin, 27, enjoyed a successful season-long loan at Real Betis last season, helping the Spanish club to Europa League qualification by finishing fifth in La Liga.

Betis were desperate to bring him back after his loan but were unable to afford his wages. Ultimately, Barcelona came calling and snapped him on a one-year deal on deadline day after his contract at Arsenal was terminated this summer.

However, according to Todo Fichajes, he is expected to return to Real Betis on a free transfer when his one-year deal with Barcelona expires.

The former Gunners man has recently discussed about his plans to return to Betis sometime in the future during a recent visit to La Liga club, and it seems he will get his wish sooner rather than later if Betis can sort out their finances, with Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos also keen on making a romantic return to Estadio Benito Villamarín.

Barcelona are planning to sign Adrien Rabiot for free when the season ends, according to

Xavi reportedly wants to strengthen his midfield with new additions, and Rabiot has emerged as one of the candidates to shore up Barca’s midfield.

The Frenchman will be a free agent at the end of the season, so it will be interesting to see what Rabiot decides to do with his future.

Barcelona are reportedly working to offload experienced quartet Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto and Sergio Busquets next summer.

Busquets’ current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and the seasoned midfielder is widely tipped to go leave a free transfer, with a host of MLS clubs apparently interested in signing him.

Meanwhile, Pique and Alba both have lost their starting spots this season, and there has been much conjecture about their futures at Camp Nou. Roberto only signed a one-year extension, and according to ESPN, Xavi’s side are working to shift all four veterans.

Barca are interested in making a move for young Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, as per Sport.

The 17-year-old German is widely regarded as one of the brightest attacking prospects in Germany.

In a conversation with Canal11 Barcelona’s transfer target Ruben Neves has directly addressed speculations linking him to Camp Nou. The Portuguese midfielder, who is seen as Busquets’ successor, exclaimed that everyone wants to play for the Catalans. For a long time, Neves has been one of the best midfielders playing outside the ‘Big-6’ in England and his big-money move looked inevitable. Neves’ contract at Molineux expires in 2024 and the chances of him signing another contract look minimal considering Barca’s interest in the 25-year-old.

Gerard Pique’s illustrious tenure at Barcelona is reportedly coming to an end. According to the Sport, Barca are convincing the 2010 World Cup Winner to depart from Camp Nou before his contract expires in 2024. Pique has fallen down the pecking order and was at fault for a goal against Inter Milan which could be a major reason for the club’s possible exit from the Champions League. The Spaniard had a harsh welcome at the Camp Nou as he was whistled in Barcelona’s win against Villareal.

Milan Škriniar, whose contract with Inter expires next summer, could be sold by Inter in the upcoming January transfer window to risk losing him for free.

According to Calciomercato, Barcelona could pounce on the opportunity to sign one of the best centre-backs of Europe, as Xavi would look for reinforcements. The Slovak would cost around €20-25 million.

Barcelona have identified Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot as a potential defensive reinforcement with his contract running down in the summer of 2023. According to reports by Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United will offer the Portuguese fullback a contract renewal post World Cup.

United also have an option to extend his current contract by a year in case an agreement isn’t reached. Barcelona are closely monitoring his situation and will look to make a move in the summer.

Barcelona’s long-time servant and captain Sergio Busquets is set to leave the club after 16 years with the club, according to Gabriel Sans, via reliable Barca journalist Reshad Rehman.

Busquets has been at the receiving end of a ton of criticism owing to his below-par on-field performances, especially against Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich. The 34-year-old has had relentless backing of Xavi, but has failed to repay any faith.

The idea for the defensive midfielder, at the moment, is to leave the club at the end of the season, a club for which he has made 690 appearances so far and where he has spent his entire career.

The quest to find a successor to Sergio Busquets is underway at the Camp Nou, with Benfica’s Enzo Fernández on Barcelona’s radar to be the 34-year-old’s replacement.

According to Sport, the Argentinian defensive midfielder was reportedly on Barcelona’s shopping list in the summer of 2021, but did not invest in the player due to financial problems. Following brilliant performances in both Portugal and the UEFA Champions League, Enzo will now cost around €50 million,

Barcelona have been long admirers of the 28 year-old Man City midfielder, Bernardo Silva. After failing to complete a move in the summer, Barcelona are looking to secure the services of the Portuguese in January, according to Todofichajes.

The transfer is estimated to cost around €55 million plus add-ons with the midfielder said to have already agreed personal terms with the Catalan club.

Ousmanne Dembele is finally prepared to put pen to paper and commit his future to FC Barcelona.

The French striker was expected to leave the Spanish giants but he decided to stay to play at the club after he was given more freedom under new manager Xavi Hernandez. SPORT reports that although Barcelona and Dembele have finally reached a meeting point, the Catalan club has warned Dembele that he would be tossed to the transfer market if he delays or declines committing his future to the club.

FC Barcelona is looking to extend the contract of their backup keeper Inaki Peña. Relevo reports that numerous clubs are chasing Peña and the Blaugrana want to extend the shot-stopper’s stay at Camp Nou.

As per El Nacional, Spain manager Luis Enrique would be one of the top candidates to replace Barcelona manager Xavi Hernández in case the latter fails to get the club out of its current rut.

Enrique will no longer continue as the manager of Spain after the World Cup in November, and many clubs (including Barcelona) are reportedly keeping an eye on him.

Many players are already familiar with Enrique and his tactics, having played under him for Spain, which would make it easier for him to adapt at Barcelona during his second stint.

Andrey Santos, the Vasco Da Gama talent has attracted interest from Spanish giants FC Barcelona. Although Newcastle United had their eyes sight on Santos, Xavi and company are hatching a plan to snatch the Brazilian from the Magpies. According to 90min the youngsters’ release clause sits at 40m.

Barcelona has been given a huge blow in the Diogo Dalot saga as the Portuguese right-back has ruled out a switch to Camp Nou or any other club. FC Barcelona saw Dalot as the perfect replacement for their defensive problems. Dalot has become a constant starter for United after jumping over Wan-Bisaka in the pecking order.

According to a report by SPORT, Barcelona is eyeing Bayern Munich’s superstar Alphonso Davies. The Canadian is on the Spanish giants’ radar and could switch to Barcelona in the summer of 2023. The report also suggests that the Catalans could receive tough competition from Real Madrid who is also pursuing the 21-year-old’s signature.

Although Bayern Munich wouldn’t want to let go of their left-back if Davies pushes a move to Spain the story could be completely different.

Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona currently has a verbal agreement with Athletic Club defender Inigo Martinez.

The veteran center-back has become the Catalans’ priority after the club has seen their back line being sidelined. Martinez could join Barcelona next summer on a free transfer.

According to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb, Barcelona are set to battle it out with arch-rivals Real Madrid in the race to sign Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan.

Barella, 25, has been a mainstay for Inter ever since his move from Cagliari, racking up nearly 148 appearances so far. The Italy international produced a decent tally of 15 goals and 38 assists during his time at San Siro. The report also adds that the Blaugrana are considering proposing Franck Kessie in a potential swap deal, which is surprising given the Ivorian joined the Spotify Camp Nou this past summer only.

It seems Barcelona are already planning their transfer strategy for 2023. Barça’s financial woes means that they will be unable to splurge the cash next summer, however they are eager to continue bringing in players on cheap deals.

Xavi Hernandez’s side will target players who are set to become free agents whereby they will only need to focus on wages in order to bring them to the Catalan club.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have compiled a wish list of eight players who are set to become free agents at the end of the season.Chelsea midfielders N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, Spanish stars Marco Asensio and Inigo Martinez, Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar among others, have all made it into the list.

Despite the long list of targets, Joan Laporta’s “dream” is to reunite with club legend Lionel Messi, who is at the “top of the list.”

Barcelona might get the opportunity to sign Joao Felix in 2023.

That’s according to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, which claims the Portuguese star’s agent Jorge Mendes has offered the wantaway Atletico Madrid midfielder to the Catalans in a recent meeting with club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Mateu Alemany.

Felix, 22, is increasingly frustrated with life at Wanda Metropolitano after being dropped from the starting XI in recent games and has reportedly requested to leave the Spanish capital in the upcoming January transfer window.

Barcelona have been handed a chance to sign Wolves midfielder, Ruben Neves. The Portuguese super-agent, Jorge Mendes, met with the Barça leadership to discuss various options and the 25-year-old Neves was one of the names mentioned, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Barcelona President Joan Laporta has indicated that the club will sign more players during the upcoming January transfer window.

He stated that he is in talks with manager Xavi and his staff to identify potential areas that need improvement and strengthen the squad.

Barça president Laporta on January signings: “We’re working on January market. We’re discussing internally with the board, Xavi and his staff”. 🚨🔵🔴 #FCB”We’ve the intention to improve our squad, as always”.

Barcelona have a verbal agreement in place with Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez who will be a free agent next summer, as per Mundo Deportivo.

However, given that the Catalans have defensive concerns with injuries and loss of form of Gerard Pique, they could move for Inigo Martinez in the winter itself. They reportedly already have an agreement in principle with the 32-year-old.

Barcelona are set to sell Frenkie de Jong, as they look to raise more funds, as per Daily Mail.

An imminent exit from the Champions League group stages could force Barca to raise funds and the expected departures of Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets might not bring in much in terms of transfer fees.

As a result, they are once again expected to force De Jong to leave the club.

Barcelona could join the race for wantaway Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, as per El Nacional.

Felix, who is reportedly looking to leave Wanda Metropolitano in the near future, has been heavily linked with PSG.

However, Barca are apparently looking to compete with PSG for the Portuguese as they fear Ousmane Dembele might end up leaving the club soon.

Barcelona are willing to offer Franck Kessié plus cash in order to sign Inter Milan midfielder Nicolò Barella, claims Calciomercatoweb.

Manager Xavi is reportedly disappointed with Kessié’s performances for Barcelona so far and is willing to sell him as a part of the deal for Barella, despite signing him this summer.

Barella is seen as the ideal midfielder for Barcelona’s playstyle, however, Inter Milan won’t let go of him easily.

Barcelona’s increasing likelihood of not making past the group stage in the Champions League could hamper their efforts to return Lionel Messi to Camp Nou, claims El Nacional.

The failure of not reaching the Champions League knockout stages would reportedly lead to Barcelona missing out on the revenue needed to sign Lionel Messi next year, even if on a free transfer.

Barcelona would further have to reduce their wage bill, which would make it impossible to sign new players on high salaries.

Alejandro Balde is fast establishing himself as the first-choice left-back at Barcelona, with Xavi preferring him over Jordi Alba and Marcos Alonso in key games.

SPORT have now reported that Joan Laporta has met with Balde’s agent, Jorge Mendes, in a bid to discuss extending his current contract which runs out in 2024.

According to Diario Sport, Frenkie de Jong is currently not happy about current situation at club and could consider leaving Camp Nou next summer.

The Netherlands international, 25, was embroiled in a protracted summer transfer saga with Manchester United, who identified him as their top target and were keen to get him from the Blaugrana.

De Jong elected to stay at Camp Nou as he assumed he would play a key role in Xavi’s new project, but that hasn’t happened.

The Catalan boss does not rely on the Dutch star for important matches, and the midfielder has grown frustrated with his present predicament, with Man Utd keeping the doors open for him to join Erik ten Hag’s project at Old Trafford.

FC Barcelona’s hopes of progressing through to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League suffered a big dent last night at Camp Nou, as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Inter Milan.

With Champions League elimination now likely, Barça’s finances will be plunged into deeper trouble as they are set to lose €20 million if they fail to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will attempt to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar during the summer transfer window.

Škriniar’s contract with Inter Milan expires in June 2023, with Barcelona looking to sign him for free to reinforce their squad depth.

Barcelona have added Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez to the list of potential replacements for veteran Sergio Busquets following his flying start to the ongoing season, as per Sport.

The report adds Barça scouts were in attendance at the Parc des Princes to watch Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez in action during his side’s 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain.

The youngster definitely left a positive impression on those in attendance, as he was named Man of the Match against PSG, demonstrating exactly why he has been hailed as one of the most sought-after complete midfielders across Europe.

Barcelona have been exploring the free agent markets and have identified five Premier League midfielders to bring to Spotify Camp Nou. Chelsea’s Jorginho and Kante, along with Youri Tielemans (Leicester), İlkay Gündoğan (Man City) and Naby Keita (Liverpool) are some of the name being discussed, reports Tuttomercato.

The Blaugranas have also held initial talks with Portuguese fullback, Diogo Dalot, and Athletic Club center-back, Íñigo Martínez.

Barcelona and Spanish football legend, Andres Iniesta, is contemplating a return to Barcelona. The 38 year-old Vissel Kobe midfielder aims to continue in Japan for another year before returning to Spain.
