Bayern Munich transfer news and rumours today: Bayern reject Inter bid for defender

THE KINGS takes a look at the biggest transfer and rumours involving Bayern Munich.

According to L’Equipe, Bayern Munich rejected Inter Milan’s advances for defender Benjamin Pavard in the last few hours of the transfer window.

Inter Milan reportedly see Pavard as a replacement for Milan Škriniar who will join PSG for free in the summer. The French defender’s contract with Bayern Munich also expires after the season’s closure, however they sought to retain him for now.

Bayern Munich have officially announced the completion of Joao Cancelo’s transfer on a loan with an option to buy him in the summer for less than €70 million.

Bayern Munich will sign Joao Cancelo permanently in the summer and Manchester City will be open to negotiating a cheaper fee after it was reported that there is an option to buy for €70 million in the loan deal, according to Florian Plettenberg.

News #Cancelo: Yes, there is a €70m option to buy. But been told: If Bayern wants him on a permanent deal, he will be cheaper than €70m in summer. Barcelona was also trying to get him now. But Salihamidzic/Neppe/Nagelsmann convinced Cancelo to join Bayern. @SkySportDE 🇵🇹 pic.twitter.com/0Di8pyaXgl

Bayern Munich right-back Benjamin Pavard wants to leave the club and has offered himself to Barcelona following the imminent arrival of Joao Cancelo from Manchester City, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Pavard is ready to leave now or in the summer as he knows he will fall behind Cancelo in the pecking order. Although the Portuguese international played as a left-back under Pep Guardiola, he is naturally a right-back. And with Alphonso Davies an undisputed starter at left-back, Cancelo will cover the right side of the defence.

Barcelona like Pavard due to his versatility and experience and are confident of getting him for a reduced fee given he was already in a complicated situation at the Allianz Arena and that his contract expires in June 2024.

Bayern Munich are set to sign Manchester City full-back João Cancelo on loan, with the buy option likely to be included in the deal.

This report comes from The Athletic’s highly reliable transfer expert David Ornstein, who adds that the Portuguese international was unhappy with his minutes on the pitch since club football resumed after the World Cup, with the Bavarians “long-term admirers” of the 28-year-old.

Bayern seem to have addressed their right-back issues given Benjamin Pavard’s future remains uncertain.

According to reports from Germany, Randal Kolo Muani’s agents don’t rule out a future move to Bayern Munich for the French striker.

The Eintracht Frankfurt man secured his team a draw against the reigning champions opening the doors of speculation.

As far as a potential move to Bayern at some point in the future, Kolo Muani’s advisors played coy. Per Abenzeitung’s Maximilian Koch (via@iMiaSanMia), personnel from his agency MDC Advisors said: “Bayern is a world-class reports club, every player can imagine that [playing there] — and we can also think of the answer for Randa

According to journalist Christian Falk (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer will remain at the club despite the Bavarians close to signing RB Leipzig player Konrad Laimer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via FC Inter News), Bayern Munich are very close to completing the signing of Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.

Thuram’s contract expires at the end of the season and many clubs have been trying t0 sign him in this winter or the summer, however, as per the report Bayern Munich have edged out the competition.

A new report from French publication RMC Sport (h/t @iMiaSanMia) has revealed that Zinedine Zidane intends to return to coaching next season, with Bayern Munich one of the teams he seems to be most interested in taking over.

Zidane has only managed Real Madrid across two spells so far, stepping down from the role at the end of the 2020-21 season. Current coach Julian Nagelsmann’s contract with Bayern runs till June 2026.

Journalist Christian Falk has reported that Bayern Munich is now interested in signing a centre-back in the transfer market rather than a forward.

Julian Nagelsmann’s team was heavily linked to England captain Harry Kane but the Spurs’ forward has vowed to extend his contract with the North London team.

And if Choupo-Moting extends his stay in Germany, the Bavarians would now rather concentrate on signing a defender rather than a striker.

Bayern’s search for a defender could also hint that French defender Benjamin Pavard’s exit is confirmed with potential suitors waiting in the flanks.

Regarding Bayern’s plans in attack, the situation is unchanged. If Kane does not renew at Spurs, Bayern will give it a try. If Kane stays and Choupo-Moting extends, then Bayern won’t force a new striker into the attack. The club is currently looking for a centre-back [@cfbayern]

According to journalist Christian Falk (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will call off their pursuit for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane if Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting extends his contract.

Bayern Munich have been looking for a new leading marksman all season and had identified Kane as their priority target, however, Choupo-Moting’s excellent form has led them to also focus on renewing the Cameroon striker’s contract which expires at the end of the season.

According to reporter Valentina Maceri (via Manchester Evening News), Bayern Munich are slightly ahead of Manchester United in the race for Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane.

Maceri states that Bayern Munich will be more willing to spend money and match Tottenham Hotspur’s asking price for the forward, which would have dropped down considerably from when they last enquired in 2022.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich’s 18-year-old defender Justin Janitzek will join Serie A outfit Lecce on loan with an option to buy.

Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is set to stay at the Allianz Arena and will not leave the club on loan, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Dutchman has found minutes hard to come by ever since making a move from Ajax last summer. Liverpool were interested in acquiring the midfielder’s services on loan, but the Bavarians have no intention of letting the 20-year-old leave for the Reds or any other club in January.

Following reports linking Bayern Munich with Chelsea’s Kai Havertz in the last few days, new reports deny any interest in signing the German star. According to reports in SPORT1 via iMiaSanMia, Bayern bosses have no intention of entering the race for the attacker in the current or the next transfer windows.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing AS Monaco’s Axel Disasi, and have initiated approach in order to sign the defender, who will cost around €50m.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Bayern Munich could make a move for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer next summer to bolster their backline.

Bremer hasn’t had the best of starts to his Juventus career, and the Old Lady could be willing to sacrifice him to gain some revenue after their 15 points deduction saw them drop in league rankings recently.

Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Chelsea star Kai Havertz to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.

According to reports in the Media Foot (via Football, London) Bayern Munich are considering making offers for the German international and are ready to enter a bidding war for the 23-year-old youngster. They are expected to face competition from French giants, Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, who is currently on loan at Monaco in Ligue 1, is still a part of the club’s plans for the future even though they managed to complete the signing of Yann Sommer.

According to SPORT1 journalist Kerry Hau, the Bavarian giants are pleased with Nübel’s development at Monaco as he has made positive contributions to the French side.

Manuel Neuer is 36 years old, while his injury replacement Yann Sommer is 34. Nübel is just 26 years old and the club believes that he could potentially be the long-term heir to Neuer for Bayern.

Bayern Munich are monitoring Chelsea star Levi Colwill’s contract situation with a view to approach him in the near future. Colwill, 19, has emerged as a regular starter for Brighton & Hove Albion since joining the Amex Stadium outfit from the Blues on a season-long loan earlier this summer.

His strong performances under Roberto De Zerbi have helped Brighton into seventh place in the standings, attracting the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs.

According to Chelsea correspondent Simon Phillips, the England youth international has captured the imagination of Manchester City and Bayern whilst the Blues look to tie the wonderkid down to a new deal.

Bayern Munich have officially announced the signing of Yann Sommer from Borussia Monchengladbach on a deal which will go up to 2025.

This marks the end of their search for someone to replace the injured Manuel Neuer in the short-term and possibly the long-term as well.

Bayern Munich is making moves swiftly in the January transfer window. After acquiring Daley Blind on a free transfer and luring Yann Sommer away from Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Bavarians seem to have roped in another talent in the form of Konrad Laimer.

That’s according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reports that RB Leipzig’s Austrian midfielder has signed for Bayern to make the move formal after the two parties agreed on a Bosman transfer months ago.

As Laimer entered the final six months of his contract at RB Leipzig, he was free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with the suitor during January. Laimer will provide his services for the Rekordmeister on July 1 and an statement from the club is expected soon.

Bayern Munich have finally completed the signing of Yann Sommer as they have full agreement in place with Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Bavarians will pay €8 million plus €1.5m in add-ons and have tied the Swiss goalkeeper down till June 2025.

Medicals are scheduled to take place in the next few hours.

Bayern Munich is reportedly working behind the scenes to formalize a deal for Chelsea’s Kai Havertz, according to Media Foot( via ChelsTransfer).

The Blues have a surplus of attackers after making multiple signings in January and Christopher Nkunku’s arrival scheduled in the summer.

And the English heavyweights could offload some strikers in the summer at a slashed price with Bayern Munich showing interest in Havertz.

The German forward has shown glimpses of his talent but has failed to unlock his full potential during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.

And with the arrival of Mudryk and Nkunku, Havertz could be pushed down the pecking order by Graham Potter opening the doors for an exit.

French publication Media Foot has reported that Manchester United is reportedly discussing the possibility of signing German veteran Thomas Müller.

The 2014 World Cup winner was previously linked to the Red Devils in 2015 with fresh rumors emerging once again. The report suggests that a Dutch coach in United’s setup is willing to put Müller on the English club’s agenda.

Although considering Müller is 33 now, it would be highly unlikely that the Bayern Munich veteran tries his luck in England after already enjoying an illustrious career with the Bavarian giants.

According to reports from Germany, Bayern Munich’s manager Julian Nagelsmann fears losing his job if the Bavarian giants fail to sign a goalkeeper in the January transfer window.

If Bayern Munich fails to replace the sidelined Manuel Neuer, the club could face difficulties in the Champions League when they face a high-flying PSG side.

And an early exit from Europe could threaten Nagelsmann’s managerial chair at the German outfit. The club has been linked to the likes of Yann Sommer and Alex Nubel but a deal with any shot-stopper is yet to be finalized.

Ever since Manuel Neuer sustained a long-term injury, Bayern Munich’s quest for a new goalkeeper has been a rollercoaster ride.

After several unsuccessful attempts to sign a new goalkeeper, the long-drawn saga has taken yet another twist with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano stating that Bayern has reopened discussions with Borussia Mönchengladbach over Yann Sommer.

Multiple reports have suggested that Bayern Munich is in the race to sign Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea.

Manchester United’s current number.1 has been identified by the Bavarian giants as the possible replacement for the injured Manuel Neuer.

De Gea’s current contract expires in June and it looks highly unlikely that the Red Devils would renew his colossal contract worth £375,000 a week.

And if the Spaniard doesn’t agree to a salary reduction, the German outfit could swoop in to complete a transfer.

Bayern Munich have been linked to multiple goalkeepers since the injury to Manuel Neuer. Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kevin Trapp is one of the names on the list but the goalkeeper has denounced the possibility of moving and says he has never considered leaving Frankfurt, according to reports in Planet Football.

Bayern Munich have been monitoring Olympique Lyon’s Malo Gusto as a potential target for the right-back spot. The 19-year-old is highly touted as one of the best RBs in the world. According to reports in the Bild via @iMiaSanMia, the Bavarians have moved on from the signing.

With injury to Neuer, Bayern’s focus has shifted to addressing the goalkeeper issue and are looking at potential targets in that position. The club are expected to try and extend Pavard’s contract.

According to journalist Bruno Andrade (h/t @iMiaSanMia), Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa is another goalkeeper that Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on.

The Portuguese international’s contract runs till 2027 and includes a €75 million release clause. The Bavarians would ideally want a new goalkeeper in January, but could be ready to wait till June.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs on his exclusive column for CaughtOffside, Bayern Munich could miss out on signing long-term target Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane due to the fee Spurs will demand, and the striker wanting to continue playing in England.

Furthermore, Jacobs reports that due to these two conditions, Manchester United and Chelsea will be the frontrunners to sign him next summer.

As per BILD (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich are not currently interested in making a move for soon-to-be out-of-contract Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.

Rather, the report states, their focus remains on signing a new goalkeeper to replace the recently-injured Manuel Neuer.

As per Fichajes, Bayern Munich have offered €5m to sign Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer this window, and will not raise their bid further.

Sommer is reportedly hell-bent on moving to Bayern Munich, however, Borussia Monchengladbach want to retain the player despite his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Bayern Munich have held internal talks to discuss the club’s new goalkeeper.

Plettenberg suggested that several leading players in Bayern Munich’s locker-room are supportive of signing Yann Sommer from Borussia Monchengladbach.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the deal that will see Yan Sommer join Bayern Munich from Borussia Monchengladbach is not yet off.

Sommer has already revealed his intention of joining the Bavarians immediately, who consider the Swiss international as the #1 target.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Bayern Munich are interested in a move for veteran Juventus defender Danilo next summer. With Benjamin Pavard’s contract expiring at the end of the season, Bayern are looking to reinforce their fullback positions.

However, the report states that Juventus will not let Danilo leave for a small fee due to his importance to their squad.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Bayern Munich are pondering an exchange of winger Kingsley Coman for AC Milan winger Rafael Leão in the summer.

Bayern Munich hope that Leão doesn’t extend his contract with AC Milan which expires in 2024 and that swapping him for Coman who is also a winger, would get the Rossoneri to agree the deal.

Bayern Munich are planning to hold contract negotiations with striker Benjamin Pavard, amid reports of interest from Barcelona.

Pavard, 26, is contracted with the German champions until 2024.

Firmino’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, with no indication of renewal so far. Bayern Munich are hoping to make most of the situation to sign him for a bargain in this window, states the report.

Speaking to Sky Germany in an interview (via Fabrizio Romano), Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidžić confirmed his club’s interest in Borussia Mönchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

According to latest reports from SportBild (@iMiaSanMia) Bayern Munich have shifted their interest from Harry Kane as the consider the transfer almost impossible.

The Bavarians have realized that signing a player from the Premier League could be a huge ask for the German outfit, considering players do not usually move that way in the transfer market.

And despite Kane’s contract expiring in 2024, the Three Lions forward has numerously expressed his desire to guide Tottenham Hotspurs to silverware.

Another reason for Bayern’s fading interest could be Kane’s €90m market value which could rise considering he’s nearing the end of his contract at Spurs.

According to L’Equipe, Bayern Munich are in the race for France and Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani along with Manchester United.

However, as per the report, Bayern Munich have only held light talks with Kolo Muani’s entourage, unlike Manchester United who are readying a bid in the range of €60m to sign the Frenchman.

Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has exclaimed that Bayern Munich have held positive talks with transfer target Yann Sommer.

With Manuel Neuer injured for the remainder of the season, the Bavarians are looking for a new leader between the sticks.

Although Borussia Monchengladbach will only allow the departure of their shot-stopper to their German rivals, if they find a replacement.

According to Madrid Universal, Real Madrid are eyeing a swoop of Bayern Munich’s star left-back Alphonso Davies.

Los Blancos are looking to negotiate terms with him in 2024 as his contract in Germany expires in 2025.

Although the Bavarians are looking to offer the Canadian with a new deal, Los Blancos would look to hinder the process with a shocking transfer.

As per Journalist Marco Barzaghi (via Sports Witness), Bayern Munich have a slight advantage over other clubs in the race for Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries since they are willing to include fellow full-back Noussair Mazraoui in the deal.

Footmercato has reported that Bayern Munich is in talks with Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou’s representatives over a move to Germany.

The Atlas Lions’ World Cup hero helped his country gallop on a fairytale in Qatar with his heroics between the sticks.

Manuel Neuer’s season-ending injury has opened the doors for Alexander Nübel to return to Bayern Munich and show what he is capable of.

On loan at Monaco, Nübel is considered to be the top candidate to deputise for the injured Neuer. However, the 26-year-old doesn’t think it’s a good move.

“It doesn’t make much sense for me to come back. I don’t know how serious Manuel’s injury is. But I think he will be fit again by the summer, at the latest in preparation for the next season. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for him,” Nübel told BILD’s Tobi Altschäffl.

Bayern Munich’s attempts to recall goalkeeper Alexander Nubel, who is on loan at AS Monaco, are going in vain as the talks between the two clubs have come to a halt, according to L’Equipe (h/t @iMiaSanMia).

Nubel’s return to the Allianz Arena would result in Monaco having to find a replacement immediately, which can be difficult. Not just that, Nubel wants the Bavarians to guarantee him playing time even after Manuel Neuer returns from injury.

According to CalcioMercato, Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr are willing to break the market to sign Tottenham Hotspur and England ace Harry Kane.

Kane’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur expires in 2024, with the forward perhaps looking to move on from White Hart Lane. Reportedly Bayern Munich are keen on signing him as their next number 9, but now could miss out on him if Al-Nassr prepare a big offer.

Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to hand defensive mainstay Lucas Hernandez a new contract despite him suffering a cruciate ligament injury in France’s World Cup opener against Australia.

Hernández and Bayern had already began discussions over an extension before to the World Cup, and “an agreement was imminent,” according to the Bild reports. Despite his injury, the Bavarian’s stance has not changed, demonstrating Bayern’s faith in the defender who can play both centrally and at left-back.

Hernández’s current contract expires in 2024, and a renewal is likely soon. Hernández is still Bayern Munich’s most expensive signing, having joined from Atletico Madrid for €80 million in 2019.

According to Maximilian Koch, Bayern Munich midfielder Paul Wanner, who turns 17 today (December 23) and plays for the reserves, is set to be loaned out in the summer or next winter in order to help him gain valuable first-team action.

The plan is to develop him as a full-time attacking midfielder or second striker after the experimentation to play him at left-back didn’t yield the expected results.

According to journalist Kerry Hau, Bayern Munich have dropped their plans to sign Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix in January.

The German heavyweights previously had a bid rejected for Felix last year, and it was expected that they could once again fight for the youngster’s signature.

But unfortunately, the Bavarians are no longer interested in signing Joao Felix as his hunt for a new club continues.

Juventus are keeping their options open in case they fail to secure the signing of top target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

To that end, 27-year-old German midfielder Leon Goretzka has emerged as one of the options on their radar as part of a contingency plan for the Serbian, according to Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb.

The report explains that the Bavarians are obsessed with Spurs striker Harry Kane and are prepared to offload at least one big star in order to realize their ‘dream’ transfer to replace legend Robert Lewandowski.

One of the usual suspect likely to face the chop is German international Goretzka, who is not seen as ‘untouchable’ by manager Julian Nagelsmann and is up for sale for a fee of between €45 and €50 million.

As per journalist Christian Falk on his podcast Bayern Insider, Bayern Munich won’t mind selling Benjamin Pavard next summer if he is no longer happy at the club.

Pavard’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the French defender has been vocal about moving onto newer pastures. Bayern still prioritise his renewal, but will let go of him in case it isn’t possible.

Bayern Munich will identify key targets to bolster their attack in the summer transfer market in the coming months. The Bavarian club has been consistently linked with top strikers in the past few months, and more forwards are expected to be linked until they sign one in January or next summer.

Accoridng to Bild (via Az), the latest forward linked with a move to Bavaria is Eintracht Frankfurt revelation Randal Kolo Muani, who has been a bright spot for his new club, having scored eight goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions since his arrival only last summer.

The 24-year-old’s fine form in the Bundesliga helped him to get a call-up for the French national team in the World Cup 2022. The French striker’s current contract at Frankfurt expires in 2027. Considering his good run of form and rising stock, Bayern will have to pay a premium for his signature.

Bayern Munich want Jamal Musiala to be the face of the club and are ready to offer him a new contract with an increased salary, according to SportBILD (via @iMiaSanMia).

The player already has a contract till 2026 but the higher-ups at Bayern do not want to take any risks and want to tie the 19-year-old down with a new contract that will see him remain at the club for a foreseeable future.

“Of course, we told Jamal’s mother Carolin and his management before the World Cup that we’re very happy with Jamal and we let them know that we want to sit down with them after the tournament to talk about Jamal’s further future at FC Bayern,” Bayern director Hasan Salihamidžić told SportBILD (quotes via @iMiaSanMia).

As per The Mirror (via Express), Bayern Munich are one of the clubs in the running for Spain and Real Madrid winger Marcos Asensio.

According to reports from Germany, Bayern Munich are looking to extend the contract of two veterans in their squad, namely Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Manuel Neuer.

Bayern’s CEO Oliver Kahn had previously expressed his desire to extend Choupo-Moting’s contract and despite him receiving interest from other European elites, it looks like the Cameroon international will stay with the Bavarians with an increased pay.

Although Manuel Neuer’s contract expires in 2024, the German outfit don’t want to risk losing the German goalkeeper considering he’s still one of the best in the business.

Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel has dismissed rumours linking him with a potential move to rivals Bayern Munich.

“I did not hear those stories and that’s not of interest to me either,” Kobel told Sport1.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Bayern Munich are considering swapping winger Kingsley Coman for Chelsea and USA forward Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic has revitalised himself at the World Cup, leading the USA to the Ro16. He has seen less game time under both Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter at Chelsea this campaign.

Bayern Munich could use Coman as a part of the deal for Pulisic to avoid paying a large fee for the USA ace.

As per El Nacional, Bayern Munich are willing to bid €90m for Tottenham Hotspur and England star Harry Kane in the hopes of signing him next summer.

Bayern Munich are still looking to replace former ace Robert Lewandowski and have identified Harry Kane as their primary target. However, it will take an impressive bid to pry him away from Tottenham Hotspur

Bayern Munich have been interested in bringing Harry Kane to Bavaria, helping them add a number nine to their squad. But according to reports by Fabrizio Romano, Spurs don’t have any plans to sell their talisman.

The journalist wrote on his blog, “I’ve seen stories about Kane again, but there are no changes at all as of now. Tottenham want to keep Kane and there are no negotiations ongoing, but also nothing would happen during the World Cup of course. So it’s completely quiet as of now. Bayern like Kane as Oliver Kahn stated nothing else.”

Following news that Konrad Laimer’s signing by Bayern Munich is all but complete, it looks like Marcel Sabitzer’s future at the Allianz Arena is ‘uncertain.’

That comes from Florian Plettenberg (via Bavarian Football Works). Sabitzer has failed to replicate the levels he demonstrated at RB Leipzig, and Bayern will open their doors for his exit if an offer arrives in January.

Bayern Munich will have to cough up a whopping €100 million to bring in Atletico Madrid and Portuguese star Joao Felix to the Allianz Arena.

While Bayern Munich are reportedly working on a potential deal for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, they are fully aware of the difficulties involved to materialize their dream transfer, and have already lined up a backup alternative to bolster the attack.

The Bavarian club has been keeping an eye on Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram for a while now, and have now stepped up their interest by making contact with his entourage over a potential move next summer, according to L’Equipe (via GFFN).

According to Sky Sports Germany (via The Mirror), German powerhouse Bayern Munich are continuing to lay the groundwork to land Tottenham Hotspur and England international Harry Kane.

The record Bundesliga champions are looking to bolster their striker department during the summer transfer window, with Kane viewed as a like-for-like replacement for Robert Lewandowski, and earmarked as their top target. The 29-year-old was linked with a move to the German giants this past summer, but nothing came to fruition.

The striker is thought to be available for a fee worth around €80-100 million. However, the deal to bring the Englishman to Allianz Arena is far from a straightforward task, with Spurs desperate to tie down their talisman to a new long-term deal.

Bayern Munich will hold talks with striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting after the World Cup, CEO Oliver Kahn told Florian Plettenberg in an exclusive interview for Sky Germany.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Konrad Laimer has reached a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich, and will sign a long-term contract till 2027.

Konrad Laimer has responded to rumors suggesting that he might be joining Bayern Munich next season. The midfielder has been on the radar of European giants and Bayern is currently considered the front runners to get his signature. “Nothing has been decided and nothing ruled out,” he told Kicker.

When questioned about extending his stay with Leipzig he explained that “there are no talks about that, at least at the moment”.

Bayern Munich won’t be one of the teams pursuing Dutch sensation Cody Gakpo’s signature, according to Dutch website Sport1.

The PSV attacker has been among Netherlands’ best players at the ongoing World Cup, scoring two goals in two games so far.

However, the Bavarian giants believe they are well-covered on the flanks with the likes of Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané. Gakpo prefers to play out wide.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Toni Kroos has rejected offers to join previous employees, Bayern Munich. The Bavarians were hopeful to sign Kroos at the end of the season considering there are no contract extension talks between Los Blancos and Kroos.

Considering Bayern have some young midfielders in their ranks, they could use Kroos as a senior figure in the dressing room and on the pitch.

Toni Kroos’s contract with Real Madrid will expire at the end of the season, and currently, there is no evidence to show that he will renew his contract. As a result, many clubs are hoping to sign the World Cup winner for free.

Now as per El Nacional, Bayern Munich are also eyeing a move for Kroos and hope to bring back their former player to the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich are working towards reaching an agreement with French international, Lucas Hernandez, for an extension in the coming months. According to Fabrizio Romano, talks between both parties continue in order to finalize the key details.

Feeling is that Benjamin Pavard might be on his way out of the club, so Hernandez can extend.

Speaking to the press, Bayern Munich Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidžić (via Fichajes) asserted that Bayern will not sign anyone to replace recently injured left-back Lucas Hernández.

Hernández ruptured his ACL in France’s world cup opener against Australia and will be out for a long period. Salihamidžić said the injury is disheartening, but he knows the French full-back will return stronger and doesn’t think the club needs reinforcements in winter.

According to El Nacional, Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on West Ham United midfielder and skipper Declan Rice whom they consider as one of the best players in his position currently.

Rice has impressed for West Ham ever since he made his debut for them in 2017. He has shown maturity far ahead of his age, which has led to him becoming the club’s captain at 23.

He is being monitored by many clubs, with Chelsea favourites to land him, therefore Bayern will have to go all-out if they want to sign Rice.

Bayern Munich have won the race to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer on a free transfer next summer, reports journalist Christian Falk.

Laimer has been on the list of many clubs since the last transfer window, with reportedly Liverpool looking to sign him as well. As per Falk, the Austrian midfielder rejected a proposal from Chelsea last summer, as he only eyes a move to Bayern.

Bayern Munich have been linked all year with a move for Harry Kane next summer to replace former ace Robert Lewandowski who joined Barcelona in the last transfer window.

Now El Nacional reports that Bayern Munich have been handed a major boost as Harry Kane has decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur next year.

Bayern Munich will have to wait for the price Tottenham Hotspur attach to Harry Kane taking into consideration his contract expires in 2024.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign in-demand Lyon right-back Malo Gusto.

While Lyon do not want to sell their highly-coveted asset, they find themselves at a crossroads since the 19-year-old’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024. This means the club may necessitate facilitating the player’s departure next summer, with plenty of suitors circling around.

Bayern, for one, are already thinking about signings for next summer and have reportedly made a new right-back their top priority due to the uncertainty around the future of versatile defender Benjamin Pavard, who is being courted by Barcelona and Chelsea for next summer.

AS Roma are looking to sign a new right-back after Jose Mourinho’s fall-out with Rick Karsdorp more or less certifying that the Dutch fullback won’t play for the Giallorossi again.

As per Calciomercatoweb, they are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard, who has been vocal about leaving the club recently. However, Pavard has also mentioned he would like to play centre-back at his next team, which could make the operation tough for Mourinho’s side.

According to El Nacional, Bayern Munich are one of the many clubs interested in signing highly-rated Palmeiras starlet Endrick.

The 16-year-old Brazilian has shocked the footballing world with his talent at such a young age, having already scored 3 goals in 7 appearances at a senior level.

The report states that Palmeiras won’t accept any offer lower than Endrick’s €60m release clause, and only PSG have so far submitted an official bid. Bayern Munich will also have to ward off Chelsea and Manchester United to bring the Brazilian wonder-kid to the Allianz Arena.

According to BILD, Bayern Munich’s administration have decided against pursuing a transfer for rival Borrusia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko.

Bayern Munich veteran Manuel Neuer had jokingly asked Moukoko to join the Bavarians during a press conference for the World Cup, which stemmed rumours linking the club with the youngster.

However, Bayern Munich will not pursue Moukoko as they are happy with their current attacking options, and the 18-year-old is most likely to renew his contract with Borussia Dortmund.

Real Madrid will keep a close eye on Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies during the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, reports El Nacional.

Real Madrid have been looking to reinforce their left-back position since the last transfer window, and reports have emerged that they’re also willing to let go of Ferland Mendy.

Davies is recognised by Real Madrid as the best left-back in the world currently, and Madrid will go all out for him if he performs excellently with Canada as well.

According to a report from SPORT, Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to battle it out for the signature of contract rebel Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard, whose current deal at Allianz Arena expires in the summer of 2024.

The report adds that the versatile defender has made it plain before heading out for the World Cup that he would be open to leaving Bayern Munich after falling out-of-favour under current boss Julian Nagelsmann, alerting both Barcelona and Real Madrid, along with several other suitors.

The Spanish duo are interested in signing the 26-year-old, and have made contact with his entourage to understand the details of a potential move to La Liga.

According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich isn’t considering signing Atletico Madrid forward Joao Félix anymore. The Bavarians were reportedly eyeing a move for Félix to succeed Robert Lewandowski, however, the report states their interest has cooled down considerably.

As per El Nacional, Bayern Munich will have to pay a transfer fee of at least €40m to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.

The Bavarians see Ter Stegen as the successor to compatriot and Bayern Munich legend Manuel Neuer whose contract expires in 2024.

However, Barcelona won’t budge to Bayern Munich’s demands easily, since Ter Stegen’s contract runs with them till 2025, and therefore will demand an adequate fee for him.

According to Sport1, Bayern Munich will not entertain any offers for Benjamin Pavard in January. The Bavarians do not want to sell the French defender in the winter transfer window and will only accept any offers in 2023.

The German outfit want to have a final conversation with Pavard after the World Cup in Qatar and will only listen to offers after the dialogue.

Italian news publication Gazzetta.it has reported that Bayern Munich is currently leading the race to sign Marcus Thuram from German rivals Borussia Monchengladbach. The French forward has been in red-hot form this summer and is pushing for a move away from the Foals.

Although several European outfits are circling around him it looks like he could be destined to move to the Allianz Arena as early as January.

Monchengladbach would be hoping to ship him off in January for some cash instead of letting him go for free at the end of the summer when his contract expires.

According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are planning on bringing former player and legend Franck Ribéry back to the club in a non-playing position.

Ribéry retired from professional football around a month ago due to recurring knee issues which mostly kept him on the sidelines during his time at Serie A club Salernitana.

It is not known whether he will join the club in an administrative capacity or as someone who helps out with on-pitch duties.

Bayern Munich will make a concrete attempt to sign Son Heung-min from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report from Fichajes.

Bayern admire the South Korean forward due to his pace, versatility (can play both as a left winger and a centre forward), talent, and are well aware of his history in the Bundesliga, where he played for Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen.

The same report suggests that the Bavarian giants will face competition from Real Madrid, with Florentino Perez in particular a big fan of the player.

Benjamin Pavard’s recent comments regarding his future at Bayern Munich have not down well at the club, according to BILD (via @MiaSanMia).

The club does appreciate Pavard’s contribution in recent times, but they are in no rush to offer him an extension given the signings of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

According to El Nacional, Bayern Munich are considering the possibility of signing Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to replace veteran Manuel Neuer.

Ter Stegen has been in excellent form this season, conceding only 5 goals in the league after 14 games. However, they will need to make a big sale in the upcoming winter or summer transfer windows to make up for the revenue loss due to their group stage exit in this year’s Champions League.

Bayern Munich could exploit Barcelona’s situation and swoop in for Ter Stegen to replace his ageing compatriot Neuer.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Bayern are interested in signing Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries for a figure of €30m.

Dumfries’ was reportedly valued at €50m by Inter Milan in the last transfer window. However, his below-average performances this season has reduced their asking price considerably.

With Benjamin Pavard likely to leave, Bayern Munich see Denzel Dumfries as a low-cost replacement for him.

As per journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich held no talks with Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, over a transfer last week.

Earlier, there were reports that Ronaldo and Mendes met with Bayern Munich to secure a move away from Manchester United in January. The Portuguese star had also been linked with the Bavarians in the summer.

However, Bayern Munich remain uninterested for the same reasons as in the summer. They do not feel Ronaldo is an ideal fit for their team due to his age, and their future vision for the squad.

It is NOT TRUE ❌ that there was an meeting between Bayern and Jorge Mendes. @FCBayern is not interested in Ronaldo https://t.co/gYcUyQbJE8

According to Daily Mail’s Chris Wheeler, Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent met with Bayern Munich last week in a bid to secure a move for the Portuguese away from Manchester United.

Ronaldo openly criticized the Red Devils in one of the previews posted by journalist Piers Morgan, with whom the 37-year-old had an exclusive interview.

Ronaldo would fancy a move to Bayern Munich to be guaranteed Champions League action, with Julian Nagelsmann’s side one of the favourites heading into the knockout phase of the tournament.

The Bavarian giants could be tempted to sign Ronaldo, considering summer signing Sadio Mané has had to deal with a ton of fitness issues, while Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s future remains uncertain.

According to Fichajes, Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz will be Bayern Munich’s main target next year. Bayern see Wirtz as one of the best talents in world football and want to sign him as a part of their future project.

Wirtz has excelled for Bayer Leverkusen ever since he made his debut in 2020, with the club already renewing his contract till 2027. However, he has been out this season due to an ACL injury suffered at the end of the last campaign.

Despite his long-term injury Bayern Munich will go all out for the 19-year-old and hope to secure him before other European rivals like Real Madrid and Barcelona have a chance.

According to El Nacional, Real Madrid are looking to sign Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard next summer for free after his contract expires.

Real Madrid view Pavard as the ideal backup for injury-prone right-back Dani Carvajal and want to sign him for free as they did with Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba. Pavard reportedly doesn’t want to renew with Bayern Munich and has stated that he won’t mind moving to a different league in the future.

Bayern Munich have officially extended the contract of 22-year-old Croatian defender Josip Stanišić till 2026.

Stanišić joined Bayern Munich’s U17 ranks in 2017 and after impressing at the academy level, has featured in their first team since 2021. Additionally, he will also represent Croatia at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard has been in the headlines after he has expressed his desire to explore a new challenge. According to the Express, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspurs could bid for the French defender in the winter transfer window. Spurs’ backline has faltered under pressure many times this season and the Italian manager would want to bring someone onboard who wouldn’t crack under pressure.

Bayern Munich have announced that they have extended goalkeeper Sven Ulreich’s contract till June 2024.

“I’m very happy to stay at Bayern. The cooperation with the whole team and especially with [Manuel] Neuer has grown into something special over many years,” Ulreich said.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard has expressed his desire to look for a new challenge away from Germany.

The French right-back explained that the two parties haven’t had a concrete discussion over a contract extension and he wouldn’t mind leaving the club to try a new league.

Pavard on his future: “There’ve been no concrete talks over new contract. I’ve immense respect for Bayern — I’m not against discovering a new project”, tells L’Equipé. 🚨🇫🇷“Maybe now is the time. Why not discover new country? The sporting project has to be interesting”. pic.twitter.com/ErJJ7l3ABt

According to Todo Fichajes, Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has been reportedly offered to Bayern Munich by his agent Jorge Mendes. The young prospect has been unhappy with his lack of minutes under Xavi and has been pushing for a move away from the club.

The Bavarians have the likes of Serge Gnabry, Sadio Mane, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in their ranks, but would want Ansu Fati to bolster their forwardline.

The German outfit could face competition from multiple Premier League clubs and Paris Saint-Germain, so it will be interested to see where the Spanish international lands.

According to Sky Sports expert Florian Plettenberg, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting could garner €5m in a new contract with Bayern Munich. The Cameroon international has been in exceptional form playing for the Bavarians after Robert Lewandowski’s departure to Barcelona. Choupo-Moting’s stint at Bayern ends in 2023 and the club want to continue with him as their striker considering his goal-scoring ability. However the contract extension talks have been postponed till the World Cup and will happen once Choupo-Moting returns from Qatar.

News Choupo-Moting: With bonuses included he can earn up to €5m gross/year. A contract extension beyond 2023 is possible and all parties are open to extend. But as reported it’s a question of the price. Concrete negotiations after the World Cup. @SkySportDE 🇨🇲

90min claims that Bayern Munich have been handed a big blow with Tottenham Hotspur planning a surprise swoop of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The Cameroon international has been in magnificent touch playing for the Bavarians scoring 10 goals in 15 games. With Bayern Munich expressing their interest in Harry Kane a swap of the forwards looks possible.

The Harry Kane to Bayern Munich saga has taken a new turn with British agent Hadyn Dodge saying that Bayern Munich are making a big play to sign him next summer. The Bavarians have reportedly brushed aside any rumours regarding a new striker with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting enjoying a magnificent stint at the Allianz Arena. But despite that Bayern Munich could be intrigued to purchase Harry Kane in the 2023 summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has told Sky Sports Germany that goalkeeper loanee Alexander Nubel will not return to the club in 2023.

Nubel is currently plying his trade on loan at AS Monaco but with keepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich established at Bayern, Nubel’s long-term future with the Bavarian is up in the air, despite boasting a contract until 2025.

The goalkeeper should then return to Bayern after a two-year loan. However, he recently called this into question. “Playing time is the most important thing for a goalkeeper. If Manuel, who has a contract until 2024, stays with Bayern, it makes no sense for me to return,” Nubel told getfootballnewsfrance.com: “I have a contract with Bayern, but I think it’s pointless for them too if they have Manuel and me.”

As per Fichajes, Bayern Munich will not be looking to sign a striker to replace Robert Lewandowski in the upcoming transfer window.

The report states that this is due to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting showing excellent form after featuring as Bayern Munich’s main striker this season.

Choupo-Moting has scored 10 goals across all competitions and has found the back of the net for 7 straight games. If he maintains his current form, Bayern Munich would allocate their transfer budget for other positions.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Heiner has declared that the club will remain inactive during the upcoming winter transfer window.

“We have no need for winter transfers at all – we rather have to make sure that all our good players get playing time. The coach is currently managing that very well,” Heiner said, as quoted by journalist Maximilian Koch (via @iMiaSanMia).

Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid are reportedly set to lock horns in the race to sign 26-year-old Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.

That’s according to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, which claims Los Merengues have joined Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in the race to secure the services of Pavard.

The Frenchman is facing an uncertain future with the player’s contract which runs until 2024. The new arrivals of De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have further complicated matters and neither parties are keen on extending the relationship.

According to French outlet MediaFoot, Manchester United are seriously considering a move for veteran forward Eric Chupo-Moting as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is pushing for a January exit.

Despite playing a limited role under Julian Nagelsmann the Cameroon international has hit a patch of stunning form of late, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists from 13 appearances this season.

The 33-year-old, who previously flopped with Stoke City in the Premier League, will be out-of-contract at the end of the season, but Bayern are reportedly attempting to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich’s second-choice goalkeeper Sven Ulreich has reflected on his future, admitting that he would like to continue at Bayern Munich.

“I’ve always said that I’m enjoying it here. I think we’ll talk about that at some point. It’s still too early, but I can very well imagine staying here,” the player told Sky Sports Germany, via Florian Plettenberg.

Eric Choupo-Moting has proved to be a vital squad player for Bayern Munich in recent years. The Bavarian giants are looking to extend his contract that is set to expire at the end of the season and reward him for his performances, according to Fabrizio Romano.

According to German outlet Sport1, Pavard is unhappy with the lack of regular playing time he has received under boss Julian Nagelsmann.

Pavard, 26, has fallen behind Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano, and Lucas Hernandez in the centre-back pecking order, and with Noussair Mazraoui preferred at right-back, he is open to an exit from the German club.

The 2018 World Cup winner’s current contract at the Allianz Arena expires in the summer of 2024 and he is set to leave next year in favour of a fresh challenge elsewhere amid Barcelona and Chelsea links.

According to MARCA, Bayern Munich offered a sum of €100 million for Portuguese forward João Félix, which Atlético Madrid rejected.

The player was considered ‘untouchable’ in the summer, but that stance has surely changed after the 22-year-old’s performances this season, where he has failed to nail down a starting spot.

As per the Evening Standard, Harry Kane is holding off on any contract renewal negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur till after the World Cup.

Kane is reportedly deemed a top priority by Bayern Munich, with the German club making him their top priority for next summer. His contract expires in 2024, with Die Roten looking to swoop the Tottenham Hotspur ace to replace Robert Lewandowski.

Borussia Mönchengladbach star Marcus Thuram has been on fire in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 8 goals in 11 games. The Frenchman has been on Bayern’s radar for a while.

The 25-year-old responded when asked if he could see himself playing for Bayern in the next two or three years.

“I don’t project myself that far. My plan is to train tomorrow (with Mönchengladbach),” Thuram told L’Équipe (via Get French Football News).

“Bayern is a very big club. But it is really day after day for me. What would be the point of projecting myself three years ahead? My ambition is to become the best player possible. So, if I want to become the best Marcus possible, it’s tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, not in two years.”

Ever since Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has been incorporated into the starting lineup by Julian Nagelsmann, he has been in incredible form, helping the Bavarians play better too.

And, according to sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić, Choupo-Moting “belongs” at the Allianz Arena.

“We’ll hold talks, nothing speaks against that. He’s someone who I think belongs here. We hope he stays here,” Salihamidžić stated (quote from Sky Sports Germany, via @MiaSanMia).

Bayern Munich is once again haunting FC Barcelona but this time outside the football pitch. According to BILD, the Catalan club would owe Bayern a fee of €1.25m whenever their former striker Robert Lewandowski touches the 25 goals mark. The Polish forward is currently on 17 goals and could reach the 25-goal mark soon.

Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez, according to Alex Silvestre on El Chiringuito TV.

Reportedly, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has demanded that the board bring Hernandez back to Atletico. The Frenchman had left Atletico for Bayern in 2019 in a deal that made him the costliest purchase in Bundesliga history.

Hernandez’s contract with Bayern ends in 2024.

As per Football.London, Bayern Munich are interested in bringing back Chelsea forward Kai Havertz to the Bundesliga.

Havertz has been inconsistent for Chelsea since he signed with them in 2020, and with the Blues reportedly looking to add more attacking talent to their squad, he may not see much game time in the future. However, the report states that Chelsea aren’t interested in letting go of Havertz yet.

As per L’Equipe, Bayern Munich will face competition from Premier League club Everton for the signing of Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.

Thuram’s contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach expires at the end of this season with the player likely to leave for free. Reportedly Bayern Munich see him as a cheaper alternative to Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich will attempt to sign Manchester City midfielder İlkay Gündoğan next summer, reports 90min.

Gündoğan has been in excellent form at the start of the season for Manchester City, however, by the end of the season, his contract expires with them. Bayern Munich will reportedly see this as an opportunity to bring him back to the Bundesliga.

As per Kicker (via Fcbinside), Lucas Hernandez is set to renew his contract with Bayern Munich on a long-term deal.

Hernandez’s current contract expires only in 2024, however, Bayern Munich reportedly see him as a part of their defence for the next decade along with the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Dayot Upamecano, and want to secure his long-term future with the club.

Bayern Munich’s director Hasan Salihamidžić has ruled out making any signings in the upcoming winter transfer window in January.

“No, we’ve done a lot this summer. We will not be active in the transfer market in winter,” Salihamidžić told Christian Falk of BILD.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has described Tottenham striker Harry Kane as ‘one of the top players in the world.’

The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Allianz Arena as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski for some while now.

The Bundesliga giants are said to be interested in signing England skipper Kane next summer when he will have just one year left on his contract in north London.

Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation of Joao Felix at Atletico Madrid this season. The Portuguese forward has only earned five starts in the league this season and has fallen down in the pecking order. The 22-year-old seems to be looking for a move away from the club.

According to reports by Diario AS, Bayern Munich are among the clubs that have kept a close eye on the former Benfica man. The Bavarian giants are in the race with PSG and Manchester United among others, to secure the signature of the Portuguese.

Bayern Munich are currently leading the race to sign RB Leipzig midfielder, Konrad Laimer. The Bavarian giants aim to reunite Julian Nagelsmann with the Austrian midfielder, according to journalist Christian Falk (via BILD Sport).

Liverpool and Chelsea have also made contact with the player’s agent but Nagelsmann and Bayern see the midfielder as a priority in 2023 when his contract is up.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich are going to give their all to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer.

The club made contact with Kane’s entourage this past summer via intermediaries, so there has certainly been some sort of contact between Bayern and Kane. However, the England skipper decided to stay put at Spurs.

Regardless, the Bavarian giants believe they can lure Kane to join them in the Bundesliga as they are favourites to win the league every year, while being among the most probable teams to clinch the Champions League.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg for Sky Sports Germany, Bayern Munich could be a possible destination for Lille striker Jonathan David.

David is looking to take the next big step of his career next summer and wants to move to a top club. He is highly sought after by many clubs, with Premier League club Everton reportedly attempting to sign him this summer.

While Bayern Munich could be one of the clubs he signs for, as per Plettenberg, there is no communication between the two parties yet.

Fichajes reports that Bayern Munich is once again looking to spend big in the transfer market with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen being their latest target. Osimhen has impressed some of Europe’s elites with his domestic and European outings. But the Bavarians know that they could face tough competition from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United who are also eyeing the Nigerian.

Bayern Munich are ready to shell out £88 million on Tottenham Hotspur and England superstar, Harry Kane, according to German outlet TZ. The Bavarian club are in the need of a striker after the departure of Robert Lewandowski and have long admired the 29 year-old Spurs striker.

Kane has two years left on his current contract which runs out in 2024 and the Bavarians are ready to spend cash in order to secure his services.

Bayern Munich coaches appear to be in high demand right now.

Days after VfB Stuttgart made many enquiries for Julian Nagelsmann assistant Dino Töppmoller, it has been revealed that FC Bayern Munich II coach Martin Demichelis is being pursued by Argentine Primera División champions River Plate as a potential contender to replace legendary Marcelo Gallardo.

Gallardo, 48, River Plate’s most successful manager, is set to step down and end his eight-year spell in charge of the Argentinian giants.

One of Bayern’s key players, Alphonso Davies, has emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, as per Marca.

The left-back, known for pace and athleticism, is being monitored as Madrid look to strengthen their defence.

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Manchester City defender Nathan Aké to reinforce their centre-back depth, according to 90min.

To lure Aké to the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich will have to ward off competition from the likes of Juventus and PSG.

Aké has not seen much playtime over the last 2 seasons, however, Manchester City reportedly have no intention of selling him, with the defender himself admitting a few days back he is happy at the club.

It is no secret that Bayern are looking to sign a centre forward in the upcoming transfer windows. While Harry Kane is one of their priority targets for the position, Die Roten have identified an alternative in Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram, according to TZ.

Reportedly, if Bayern end up not being able to strike a deal with Kane who is expected to cost a huge sum, Thuram will be a cost-effective target for the Germans.

According to German outlet Sport Bild, Premier League club Chelsea are still considering making a move for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard next summer if he does not extend his contract at the Allianz Arena.

Pavard, 26, was tracked by a number of European clubs this past summer but opted to stay put with the Bundesliga champions. Both Man Utd and Chelsea were reportedly eyeing a swoop for the Frenchman as they sought to boost their defensive options.

The France international’s current contract runs through June 2024, but he has enjoyed a positive start to the season, and is expected to put pen to paper with the German giants in near future.

According to El Nacional, Bayern Munich is leading the race for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz.

Wirtz is touted as the next big German talent already being compared with the likes of previous Bayer Leverkusen graduates Julian Brandt and Kai Havertz.

Real Madrid are also looking to sign Wirtz, however the report states that Bayern Munich are favourites.

As per CalcioMercato, Manchester City have joined the race for the signature of Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala.

The 19-year-old’s impressive start to the season has reportedly attracted interest from many clubs including Manchester City’s rival Liverpool. However, Bayern Munich have no interest in selling Musiala.

Bayern Munich are looking to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane next year, and aren’t in the market for Juventus star Dušan Vlahović, reports German TV station “Sport 1” (via tuttojuve).

Since Robert Lewandowski left for Barcelona in the summer, Bayern Munich have been searching for his successor. They have identified Kane as his replacement and will go all-out for him next year.

According to transfermercato, Bayern Munich are looking to sign Troyes Under-19 starlet Moses Turay for their B-team.

Turay has impressed for the Under-19 squad this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. Bayern will have to compete with seven other clubs, including Lazio and OGC Nice, for his transfer.

Bayern Munich are ready to compete with PSG for the signature of Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via ilbianconero).

The Bavarians boast a strong squad, but the absence of a genuine striker has been an obvious weakness since Robert Lewandowski’s departure to Barcelona. This has led to their interest in Vlahović who is also reportedly a PSG target.

However, the Italian giants have no plans to sell their prized striker, and are ready to reject any offer out of hand, with the player under contract at Allianz Stadium until 2026.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn admitted that the Bundesliga giants considered a move for wantaway Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer, but the Bavarians were quick to rule out signing the Portuguese global icon when Jorge Mendes offered his client.

Speaking to Bild, Bayern CEO Kahn said: “We briefly discussed Ronaldo at Bayern and Dortmund probably did too. Of course, superstars like Ronaldo are an important factor in attracting attention to the league. He is one of the greatest of the last decade. But we quickly dismissed that.”

Kingsley Coman has been linked with a return to former club PSG, having left Paris in 2014.

In an interview with Rothen s’enflamme, the Bayern Munich Winger addressed these rumours. He said a return can’t be dismissed, but he is currently focused on Bayern. Coman extended his contract with Bayern Munich till 2027 earlier this year.

Coman on whether he would consider a return to PSG one day: “It would be silly to say it’s impossible, because, in football, everything is always possible. But I extended my contract because I planned to stay here for a long time, maybe even my whole career, we don’t know”

Inter Milan and Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez has been heavily linked to Bayern Munich.

And the striker’s agent has addressed the speculation linking him to Bayern while speaking to TYCSports. He said that it was not surprising that Martinez is linked to Bayern but he is focused on Inter currently.

The agent also stated that they received crazy bids last summer for Martinez and did not rule out a future move away from San Siro.

Bayern CEO Olivier Kahn and the club board are believed to have full confidence in their manager Julian Nagelsmann. According to Bild, Kahn has publicly come out in support of Nagelsmann.

Although Bayern have performed exceptionally well in the Champions League, they have struggled in the Bundesliga. They are currently third in the league and there have been question marks raised over Julian Nagelsmann’s future.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has stated that the reigning Bundesliga Champions will not be joining the race to sign England star Jude Bellingham in 2023.

Bellingham, 19, is contracted with Dortmund until 2025, but top clubs across the continent are already credited with an interest in the young midfielder. He’s been linked heavily with the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern and Chelsea. However, it seems Bayern are not interested in him.

The Telegraph has recently claimed that Bellingham will cost around £130 million.

But we’ve Kimmich, Goretzka, Gravenberch, Sabitzer…”, tells @Bild via @iMiaSanMia. 🔴 #FCBayern“I can say we’re well equipped in that position”. pic.twitter.com/BNHBuy7pu7

Bayern are reportedly very confident of obtaining the signature of midfielder Konrad Laimer on a free transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Julian Nagelsmann has wanted the player since last summer and they might obtain his services in June 2023 for free.

Bayern almost signed Laimer in the summer but the deal fell apart.

Bayern Munich are generally not known as a selling club. However, the German giants recently sold their star striker, Robert Lewandowski, to Barcelona for a record fee of €45m.

Although Bayern Munich has purchased some of the biggest names across Europe, they have also sold players on a profit.

Even though a few players have left for free, the Bavarians have racked around €560m from sales.
