Chelsea transfer news and rumours today: Blues target extends contract till 2026

THE KINGS takes a look at the biggest transfer news and rumours involving Chelsea

As per BILD, Chelsea target and Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko will extend his contract with Dortmund till 2026.

Moukoko’s contract will expire in the summer and there were multiple reports linking him with a move away from Borussia Dortmund, possibly even Chelsea. However, the report states that Moukoko will extend his stay at the Signal Iduna Park for another 4 years.

According to De Telegraaf (via @ChelsTransfer) Chelsea have agreed a €35m deal (which could rise on to €40m) with PSV for winger Noni Madueke.

As per the report Madueke is now in discussion with Chelsea over personal terms and will travel to London for his medical.

According to journalist Simon Phillips (via Give Me Sport), Chelsea have now ‘accelerated’ their pursuit of the 20-year-old winger and have made ‘initial contact’ with the player’s agent to see whether a deal can be done this month.

Phillips told GiveMeSport: “Chelsea are definitely very keen on this player. He’s one of many top young talents that Chelsea are trying to bring in.

“We’ve seen already, since the new owners came in, that they have been splashing the cash on young players.

“He’s another one that has come to the forefront and they’ve recently accelerated that interest and had some initial contact with his agent to see if a deal is doable.”

The Blues have now been told how much it could cost to sign Moises Caicedo this month as Graham Potter looks to bolster his midfield.

However, bringing the Ecuadorian to Stamford Bridge could come at a premium, with the Seagulls unwilling to sell their star midfelder as they pursue European football.

The 21-year-old, who sees his deal at the Amex Stadium expire in 2025, has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following the appointment of his former boss. The Seagulls are believed to want £75m-plus for Caicedo and no bid has yet been made.

After completing the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, Chelsea are looking to offload Raheem Sterling.

Now, according to Fichajes, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the Englishman this month, just six months after Sterling left Manchester City to join the Blues.

According to a report from Daily Mail, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has no desire of leaving the Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old midfielder has offers from Everton, Southampton, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, but is against the idea of moving elsewhere given he is becoming a regular for Graham Potter

Potter himself is against letting Gallagher go as their midfield lacks options at the moment due to the injury list.

As per the Evening Standard, Chelsea are most likely going to let Jorginho’s contract expire and allow him to join a new club next summer.

Jorginho will be a free agent next summer and as per the report, Barcelona and former club Napoli are the two current favourites to sign him.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are currently not discussing a contract renewal with midfielder and academy product Mason Mount, and will only do so after the January transfer window is over.

Mount’s contract expires in 2024 with Chelsea hoping to extend his stay for a longer period as they did with right-back Reece James. Reportedly many clubs are monitoring his situation and could swoop in for him next summer.

Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed that Leicester City is plotting a move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The English midfielder has been utilized by Graham Potter in multiple positions but with the Blues looking to bring in multiple reinforcements in the upcoming windows, Loftus-Cheek could be sacrificed to make room for other midfielders.

The Foxes could themselves be short handed in the center of the pitch with star player James Maddison attracting massive interest from multiple European elites.

The blockbuster arrival of Mykhaylo Mudryk at Stamford Bridge has put a question mark on Raheem Sterling’s future at Chelsea.

That’s according to Football Insider, who reports that Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for the England international just months after signing the winger from Man City in a deal worth £50m.

However, the midfielder has struggled to remain consistent and has a tough time fitting into boss Graham Potter’s system.

Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk after swooping in at the last minute. The 21-year-old has signed a eight-and-half-year deal with Chelsea.

Mykhailo Mudryk has finalised his move from Shakhtar Donetsk after agreeing personal terms with the Blues. 🤝

According to the Sun, Crystal Palace are reportedly pushing to re-sign Conor Gallagher in the January transfer window. Palace boss, Patrick Vieira, wants an extra midfielder and wants to bring him back to the club.

Palace are expected to make a bid before the window shuts.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is reportedly completing his Chelsea medicals before everything is finalized in the next hours. According to Fabrizio Romano, Mudryk will sign a contract until June 2030 as it helps the Blues with FFP and amortization.

Chelsea have agreed a €100m deal with Ukrainian outfit to sign Arsenal target Mykhaylo Mudryk, who’s set to fly to London for his Blues medical in the next hours as Chelsea looks to wrap up the deal as early as possible.

Arsenal were regarded as the favourites to land the Ukraine international, as Mudryk’s favoured option is to join Mikel Arteta’s squad. However, the Gunners have already had two proposals rejected by Shakhtar, with the delay opening the door for the Blues to swoop in.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea board have travelled to Poland in a desperate attempt to hijack Arsenal’s mooted January move for top target Mykhaylo Mudryk.

The Blues have been linked with a move for Mudryk this month, despite the fact that the 22-year-old has been widely tipped to join Arsenal in recent weeks.

It looks like Todd Boehly and Co. have no intentions to give up the chase regardless of Arsenal agreeing personal terms with the player, and are prepared to outbid Arsenal with an offer in the region of £80 million.

Chelsea could reportedly pursue Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner if Todd Boehky and Co. decide to get rid of Graham Potter. That’s according to BILD, who claim the Stamford Bridge hierarchy may look to the Bundesliga manager as a replacement for their current coach.

While Potter appears to have the full backing of those seated above, his future is still in jeopardy due to a poor run of form. The defeat against Fulham on Thursday was their sixth in their last eight games in all competitions.

Inter central defender Milan Skriniar has snubbed a new contract with the Nerazzurri, which has alerted the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, who are both keen to acquire his signature.

According to The Sun, the two London giants are looking to strengthen their defensive units, but face stiff competition from French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.

Transfer expert Christian Falk has revealed that Chelsea’s transfer target Marcus Thuram could be available for just £9m (€10m).

The Blues have been competing for the Frenchman’s signature with his contract in Germany expiring this summer.

And with Thuram being in amazing goal-scoring form, the 25-year-old has decided to depart from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Chelsea is in need of a striker after massive injury concerns in their forward battery and Thuram could be an ideal signing for Graham Potter.

Chelsea are in talks over a fifth January signing in this window. PSV are looking to sell Madueke this month and Chelsea believe a bid around €45million (£40m) could secure the signing, according to reports in the Football London.

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has put to bed the rumors linking Christian Pulisic away from Chelsea. Giving an update on his injury situation, Potter said, “No chance of him leaving. He will be out past that and there was never any consideration about him leaving anyway.”

Chelsea have been linked with RB Leipzig’s centre-back, Josko Gvardiol. According to reports by Christian Falk in his exclusive CaughtOffside column, Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on the signing the defender as well, which could serve as a domino in the larger scale of things.

Chelsea is still in the hunt to sign Marcus Thuram despite the West London club signing Joao Felix, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Blues secured the services of the Portuguese forward, but are still competing to get Thuram to Stamford Bridge.

The French forward has been exceptional playing for Borussia Monchengladbach, and the club would be hopeful that he could replicate the same form in the Premier League.

The Telegraph has reported that Chelsea is looking to reopen contract extension talks with Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante. The midfield duo has failed to extend their contract at Stamford Bridge, with Kante’s contract scheduled to expire this summer.

The Blues are looking to waive off the interest in Mason Mount by laying down a deal while they also want to renew Kante’s contract in order to keep the duo at the club for long.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Juventus are considering making a move for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovačić in the next transfer window.

Kovačić’s contract expires in 2024, with no talks of further renewal yet with Chelsea. Juventus are reportedly hoping to nab the Croatian for a cheap price this summer with one year left in his contract.

As per Calciomercatoweb, AC Milan have decided to move on from Ante Rebić and are looking to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech to replace him.

Ziyech is prepared to join AC Milan if the correct salary is negotiated, however, there’s not much progress between the Rossoneri and Chelsea.

Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Portuguese international João Félix from Atlético Madrid on a six-month loan.

The Blues paid €11 million as the loan fee, with Félix extending his contract with Los Colchoneros till 2027.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano in his exclusive column for Caughtoffside, Chelsea are monitoring highly-rated PSV winger Noni Madueke.

However, as per Romano, even if Chelsea are willing to meet PSV’s asking price of €35m it will be difficult for the Blues to sign him since the Dutch club already lost Cody Gakpo to Liverpool this window.

According to The Evening Standard, Newcastle United are giving Chelsea strong competition in the race for Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssofa Moukoko.

As per the report Newcastle United are offering Moukoko a salary north of  £150,000 a week to sign on a free transfer once his contract expires at the end of the season.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have been handed the price tag of transfer target Romeo Lavia. The article suggests that the Blues will have to shell-out more than £50m for the signature of the Southampton midfielder.

Chelsea had previously made an offer worth £50m during the last summer window but the proposal was rejected by the Saints.

According to journalist David Ornstein, Chelsea have agreed to sign Joao Felix on loan from Spanish heavyweights Atletico Madrid.

The Portuguese forward was appealed by the project at Chelsea and the Blues will have to fork out €11m for the services of Felix

According to Simon Phillips of GiveMeSport, Chelsea are vying for the signature of right-back Pedro Porro. The Spanish defender has been exceptional for his Portuguese club and the Blues are looking to find a replacement for the injured Reece James.

The reports suggests that the North London outfit will have to shell-out £40m for Porro’s signature and Sporting Lisbon will only let go off their star player if his release clause is triggered.

The club would receive stiff competition from rivals Tottenham Hotspurs who are also in the race to sign Porro.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea will make a decision on David Datro Fofana’s loan deal in the second half of January.

The Blues could send Fofana on loan for the player’s improvement but the club will currently monitor him at Chelsea itself. Graham Potter will keep a close eye on Fofana to decide whether it’s the best possible option to send him loan.

According to The Mail, Chelsea will be joined by local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their pursuit for Brighton’s world-cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

Mac Allister has shone for both club and country this year which has attracted many suitors amongst the European elite. Chelsea want to reunite him with former boss Graham Potter but will need to ward off interest from many other clubs.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea have set their sights on Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli after missing out on Ismaël Bennacer who is close to renewing his contract with AC Milan.

Fagioli has been trusted by coach Massimiliano Allegri to be a part of the first-team squad and has repaid his faith in him with 2 goals in 11 games.

The Mail have reported that Chelsea is vying for the signature of Dani Olmo from German outfit RB Leipzig.

The North London outfit are reportedly chasing Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk, but if they fail to achieve the transfer, they could switch their attention to the Spanish forward.

Despite Mudryk still being prime target, the Blues could find it difficult to sign Mudryk considering Shaktar Donetsk’s asking price and the player’s willingness to join rivals Arsenal.

CaughtOffside has reported that Chelsea are prepared to receive offers for Christian Pulisic in January.

The American international could be allowed to leave the North London outfit, provided the Blues are able to sign a forward in January.

The United States’ forward has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and has been pushing for a switch away from the club with Newcastle showing massive interest.

According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea will have to fork out £60m for the signing of transfer target Moises Caicedo.

The Brighton midfielder has been an influential cog in his team’s eleven and could look to reunite with former boss Graham Potter at Chelsea.

The Blues are looking to revamp their midfield with the departures of Kante and Jorginho looking inevitable.

And with Graham Potter aiming to guide the North London outfit to silverware, Caicedo could be an ideal signing for the English manager.

Chelsea want to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia and have established contacts with his agent, according to Simon Phillips via GIVEMESPORT.

“There’s contact with Lavia that’s still going on. There’s regular contact with his agent,” Phillips told GIVEMESPORT.

“So, Chelsea are sensing an opportunity to try and get him this window. If not, it will be in the summer because Manchester City have that buyback clause on him. I think that comes in possibly in the summer, so Chelsea again trying to get ahead of the competition with him.”

According to Calciomercatoweb, Inter Milan are considering making a move for Chelsea midfielder and vice-captain Jorginho, hoping to create a pivot with him and Marcelo Brozović.

Jorginho’s contract expires at the end of the season with no hint of him renewing further with Chelsea, which has led to many clubs including Inter Milan pursuing his signature.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have opened talks with Borussia Monchengladbach over a potential January transfer for Marcus Thuram.

Thuram’s contract in Germany is due to expire next summer, and has a number of potential suitors to pick from, including Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

However, Chelsea have accelerated their pursuit as Graham Potter’s side remain desperate for a natural goalscorer. The Italian transfer expert also reveals that Thuram ‘will take his time and consider all the options’ before he decides where to go next.

Thuram’s good form for Gladbach as well as his notable performances in the World Cup has only increased his demand across Europe. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly wants to revive the ship and is ready to splash a fee for the French forward this month.

According to Fichajes, Graham Potter wants to bring Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé to the Stamford Bridge.

Potter hasn’t enjoyed a great start to his tenure with the Blues, with Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, and Hakim Ziyech all misfiring.

Dembélé is having a good season at Barcelona, but he might turn down the move as he is one of the undisputed starters under Xavi.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea are among a host of Premier League clubs that are on high alert as Jordan Pickford’s future at Everton is up in the air.

Pickford, who has 18 months to run on his current deal, is happy to commit his long-term future to the Toffees, but the Merseysiders are yet to finalise his new five-year contract.

This has led to Premier League elites queueing up, believing there could be a deal to be done for the England international.

Chelsea’s new directors and recruitment gurus are working their magic as they’re closing in on a deal to bring Benoit Badiashile from Monaco.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that negotiations between the two clubs are reaching their final stages with an “expectation” the deal will be wrapped up “soon” with the 21-year-old “keen on the move” to Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle United are reportedly mulling a winter swoop for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, who has yet to commit his future to the west London club.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claims the 31-year-old is a ‘prime target’ for Magpies’ boss Eddie Howe ahead of the January transfer window, with the northeast side seemingly looking to strengthen their midfield ranks to boost their top-four push.

Chelsea have reportedly registered their interest in Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

That’s according to journalist Simon Phillips (via Give Me Sport), who claims the Blues ‘have made contact’ with Zubimendi’s agents as new boss Graham Potter looks to bolster his midfield options.

With Jorginho and N’Golo Kante’s contracts expiring next summer, the Blues want to sign a midfielder. They have made the first move for Zubimendi, whose current contract does not to expire until the summer of 2027, and includes a release clause worth £56 million.

According to Media Foot, Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are set to battle it out for the signing of Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier, but the two English clubs are facing stiff competition from German giants Bayern Munich.

According to recent rumours, Blues goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has been linked with a move away from the club and Mendy has turned down a contract offer from Chelsea.

In that case, Graham Potter will have to find a suitable successor. And Meslier has emerged as a possible Chelsea target.

According to Foot Mercato, Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr have come forward with an interest in signing French midfielder N’Golo Kante on a Bosman transfer next summer when his contract with Chelsea runs out.

The 31-year-old has only featured in two Premier League fixtures this season due to a long-term injury.

Kante’s age and injury problems may compel the Blues to part ways with him at the end of the season, especially given Chelsea owner Todd Boehly’s intention to recruit younger players in the summer market and reduce the average age of the squad.

With Barcelona also said to be interested in signing the diminutive midfielder, they will now have battle it out with Al Nassr for the 2018 World Cup winner’s signature.

Chelsea are in advanced negotiations with AS Monaco for young centre-back Benoît Badiashile and are looking to close the deal around €35-€40m.

Chelsea have been on the lookout for a left-footed centre-back all year, and feel Badiashile is an ideal candidate due to his age and price.

According toThe Telegraph, Chelsea are looking to sign Atletico Madrid’s forward Joao Felix on loan. Todd Boehly wants to bolster Graham Potter’s eleven for the second half of the season by adding Felix to Chelsea’s forward battery.

With the Portuguese pushing for a move away from Spain, a loan deal could be an ideal option for both the parties.

According to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs (via Give Me Sport), Chelsea are in ‘ongoing conversations’ over a deal to sign 18-year-old Borussia Dortmund and Germany striker Youssoufa Moukoko as they look to understand the deal.

The Blues are concered that the 18-year-old striker would use the interest from the Premier League outfit as leverage to secure a better deal at Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea are going all guns blazing in the market to acquire some of the best young talents from across the globe, having already closed deals for David Datro Fofana, and Brazilian midfield sensation Andrey Santos.

Jacobs told GMS: “Chelsea’s preference has always been to work the player side to try and get him to agree to a summer move and then their hope, therefore, is that he won’t sign a new deal and they’ll get him on a free transfer, which is cost-effective and they get a young talent.

“But due to Armando Broja’s injury, there is a chance that Chelsea want to escalate the situation and bring in Moukoko earlier. These are ongoing conversations.”

According to Fabrizio Romano (via Give Me Sport), Chelsea will have to make RB Leipzig central defender Josko Gvardiol the most expensive defender in history if they are to sign the Croatia’s World Cup star in January.

Speaking to GMS, the transfers guru said: “Now, Leipzig want way more than €90million. They hope to go for more than €100million to make Gvardiol the most expensive centre-back ever.

“Chelsea are still working on it. They are still in contact with people close to the player and Leipzig.”

According to Sport Italia, Chelsea are prepared to go to any lengths to sign Rafael Leao, who is facing a tricky contract renewal scenario.

The 23-year-old attacker sees his contract at the San Siro expire in 2024 and he’s believed to have a €150 million release clause. The renewal talks between the player and club are stalling, with Milan hesitant to commit to a ‘real bloodbath from an economic point of view’.

Leao owes €19.5 million to his former club Sporting CP after losing all legal battles for breach of contract, and he wants the employers of his next deal to cover it on top of his extravagant salary demands.

Chelsea are said to be long admirers of Rafael Leao and the Blues are prepared to bear all expenses to bring the Portuguese international to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Athletic, AS Monaco defensive mainstay Benoit Badiashile has emerged as one among several players Chelsea are looking at to strengthen their backline in the January transfer window.

The Blues are looking to make a move for a left-sided centre back. The player at the top of their list is 21-year-old French international Badiashile, who is valued at around €35 million by the Principality club.

Chelsea are reportedly the best-placed club to sign Brighton and Ecuador defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo ahead of the Premier League rivals, Liverpool and Manchester United.

That’s according to journalist Dean Jones, who believes the Blues will be the clear favourites for the 21-year-old’s signature owing to the player’s close relationship with former boss Graham Potter when the Seagulls do decide to part ways with their in-demand midfielder.

Jones told GMS: “I don’t think Brighton will sell him in January, but whenever the time comes, I expect Chelsea to be in the best position to sign him because of the relationship with Graham Potter.”

According to Calciomercato, Newcastle United are plotting an ambitious approach for Romelu Lukaku at the end of the season.

However, the report adds that any prospective move for Lukaku is conditional on Newcastle finishing in the Champions League spots this season.

The Belgium international is currently on a season-long loan back at Inter Milan after failing to make a impact during his second spell at Stamford Bridge.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea could be looking to sell Kalidou Koulibaly next season. Just a year after signing the defender, Koulibaly has failed to impress fans at Stamford Bridge.

The former Napoli center-back is considered an expendable asset at Chelsea and could be on the verge of returning to familiar territory with Inter.

Calciomercato.it has reported that Chelsea could pounce on the opportunity to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter at the end of the summer.

The veteran defender is reportedly not satisfied with his current contract in Italy and could leave the club for free.

With the Blues hunting for a strong center-back to plot alongside Thiago Silva, the Slovakian defender could be an ideal addition to Graham Potter’s side.

Chelsea is also looking to find a solution in defense after the failure of their summer signings and could turn to Skriniar to solve the problem.

According to a report from La Repubblica (h/t fichajes.com), Kalidou Koulibaly might head back to the Serie A to join Inter.

The Nerazzurri are well aware of the possibility of Milan Skriniar’s departure. As such, they want to be prepared and bring in a world-class centre-back.

Koulibaly signed for Chelsea this past summer, but hasn’t hit the ground running immediately. The Senegalese could be tempted to return to a familiar league.

Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea have secured the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Andrey Santos.

The young midfielder was being circled around by multiple European elites, but it was Chelsea who got their man for €20m.

With personal terms agreed upon between the two parties, the Blues will look to nurture the Brazilian talent.

According to Caughtoffside, Chelsea have approached the agents of Neymar over a possible transfer. During the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Blues were meeting agents of multiple players with Neymar also on the list.

Although nothing solid is in place, if the Brazilian superstar decides to leave PSG, Chelsea would want to pounce on the opportunity to sign him.

Hakim Ziyech has been on AC Milan’s radar for quite some time now, but the Moroccan’s high wage demands might force the Rossoneri to withdraw their interest, according to Calciomercato.

After their most recent meeting in October, Milan might be unwilling to meet the salary demands of Ziyech, who wants to earn €7-8 million-a-year at San Siro.

On the other hand, Gianluca Di Marzio conceded that Newcastle will approach Chelsea next month to discuss about signing Ziyech as they hope to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.

According to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has secured the signature of Ivorian striker David Detro Fofana. The deal is secured and an agreement has been signed by both parties with a medical scheduled to be taken place today in London.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Italian midfielder Jorginho has expressed his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The veteran central player has said that he wants to stay at Chelsea, while also suggesting that his first priority is winning games with the club.

As per The Athletic, Chelsea are inching closer to signing highly-rated Vasco Da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos.

The 18-year-old Brazilian starlet was subject to the interest of many clubs including Manchester City, Barcelona, and Newcastle United. However, it’s Chelsea where his future destination likely lies.

According to journalist Simon Phillips (via Fichajes), Chelsea have registered their interest in Real Sociedad defensive midfielder Martín Zubimendi.

As per Phillips, Zubimendi is seen as one of the ideal candidates to replace either Jorginho or N’Golo Kanté, who could be leaving the club next summer.

Chelsea have officially announced the appointment of Christopher Vivell as Technical Director on their website.

Vivell has extensively worked with the Red Bull football project before joining Chelsea, in particular being responsible for all scouting at RB Leipzig. His addition is one of many owner Todd Boehly sees as essential to revolutionising Chelsea.

Chelsea are willing to bid up to €90m for Brighton and Ecuador midfielder Moisés Caicedo to replace outgoing legend N’Golo Kanté, reports Fichajes.

Caicedo has impressed for both club and country this season, and while he was initially valued at €38m, his price has increased due to multiple clubs bidding for him.

As per the report, Liverpool are willing to pay €80m for the Ecuador midfielder, therefore Chelsea are willing to pay an excessive fee to ward off their rival’s interest.

When asked about his future at Chelsea, Jorginho gave a very cryptic reply to the reporters, which continue to keep his future at Stamford Bridge a mystery.

“Graham Potter is creating a very good relationship with all of us, he’s working hard. New deal talks? It’s normal to speak… next question?” Jorginho replied to a Sky Sports reporter.

Chelsea are set to face another obstacle in their reported pursuit of Everton winger Anthony Gordon.

He was strongly linked with moves to both Tottenham and Chelsea last summer, with the latter even having a sizable bid knocked back by Everton.

Now, according to the Telegraph, the 21-year-old is on the cusp of signing a new long-term contract with Everton as the Toffees look to ward off outside interest in their prized asset.

The 21-year-old’s current deal at Goodison Park runs until the summer of 2025, and the relegation-threatened Toffees are apparently looking to ensure his long-term future at the club by tying him down to a improved deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea have been handed a blow in their pursuit to capture AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer.

The Algeria international, 25, sees his current contract at AC Milan expire at the end of this season, and has been linked with a cut-price winter move to Stamford Bridge in the last few days.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea are planning on stepping up their pursuit of RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol by making the first move to land him in January.

By doing so, the Blues look to get a head start on reigning La Liga and Champions League winners Real Madrid in the race for his signature, but they are concerned that Luka Modric’s influence would entice him to the Bernabeu instead.

Gvardiol was one of the star performers of the World Cup as Croatia defied the odds once more to finish third in the tournament.

According to 90min, Chelsea has joined the race to sign Athletico Paranaense Vitor Roque. The 17-year-old has attracted interest from across Europe, and the Blues have joined the hunt to sign Roque.

The Brazilian youngster has been phenomenal in front of the goal and the North London outfit is looking to rebuild its attacking force.

According to Sky Germany journalist Marc Behrenbeck, Chelsea is the front runner to sign German wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund.

The Blues have already secured the signature of French striker Christopher Nkunku and could partner up the two forwards up front.

With Armanda Broja injured, Moukoko could be a fascinating addition to Chelsea’s forward battery.

“We hear that Chelsea are the closest. There have already been negotiations and talks. More clubs Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona and Newcastle are on the list, but Chelsea is the hottest, the others aren’t ready yet,” said Behrenbeck

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea is reportedly believed to test the waters by putting in a £45m bid for Croatia’s World Cup hero Josko Gvardiol.

Although RB Leipzig are expected to ask for a much higher fee, Chelsea reportedly wants to get on the negotiation table with an offer.

Multiple European elites are circling around the center-back and the Blues want to make the first move to gain some ground in the race.

Simon Phillips has told GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea are keeping tabs in the market to bring in two midfield reinforcements, with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante’s departures highly likely at the end of the season.

Phillips mentioned Ajax’s Edson Alvarez and Southampton’s Romeo Lavia are two midfielders on the Blues’ radar.

“Chelsea want two new midfielders and they want two new midfielders who specifically can play in the six position, whether that be as a lone defensive midfielder or part of a double pivot, depending on what formation Chelsea line-up with,” Phillips stated.

“But they definitely want two new midfielders purely because of the situations with contracts with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. Both at the minute look like they could leave as free agents.”

According to popular Chelsea journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea’s attempts to lure Alejandro Garnacho away from the Old Trafford were turned down by Manchester United.

Garnacho wants to sign a new deal with the Red Devils and the club will be offering him an extension soon.

Chelsea are looking to bolster their defensive options, and they are eyeing Bayer Leverkusen and Ecuador World Cup star defender Piero Hincapie as a possible Josko Gvardiol alternative, according to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports News.

Hincapie, 20, signed for Bayer Leverkusen from Argentinan side Club Atletico Talleres at the start of the 21/22 season, and has a contract until 2026 at Leverkusen.

Blues can wrap up the deal for the youngster for around €30 million, which is significantly less than the asking price for Gvardiol.

According to Spanish outlet Marca (h/t Football. London), Chelsea are considering a January approach for Barcelona and French mercurial winger Ousmane Dembele.

The Blues have been linked with the 25-year-old for a long while now and missed out on snapping him up as a free agent last summer. However, he penned a new two-year deal with the Catalan club, extending his stay till 2024.

The report adds that the Frenchman has a release clause of €50 million which will come into effect this summer. Alongside Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain have also revived their interest in Dembele as a possible transfer option for the future.

Chelsea’s academy graduate, Callum Hudson-Odoi, is set to continue at Bayer Leverkusen beyond January according to Fabrizio Romano.

Bayer Leverkusen’s director, Rolfes, confirmed To Bild that the English winger will not return to Chelsea in January.

According to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs (h/t Express), Chelsea are looking to steal a march on Liverpool and Arsenal for Leicester City and Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The 25-year-old’s current contract at the King Power Stadium expires next summer, and could leave the Foxes for a cut-fee price next month. The midfielder is said to have no plans to stay at the King Power Stadium and is being courted by a number of elite teams.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been the leading contenders for his signature for a while now, but the Blues have now entered the race as dark horses as Blues boss Graham Potter looks to bolster his squad ahead of a busy second half of the season.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea is the frontrunner to sign Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan. With Reece James sidelined for several months, Dumfries could solve Potter’s defensive headaches.

Although multiple Premier League clubs are chasing Dumfries, the Blues look like the favorites to sign the defender.

With Inter Milan facing financial issues, Todd Boehly could be prepared to shell out a favourable sum to sign the Dutch right-back.

Chelsea is the latest club to enter the race to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Italian outfit Fiorentina, according to The Daily Mail. The Moroccan midfielder has been one of the biggest stars of the World Cup in Qatar guiding his country to the semi-finals.

And after his fantastic outing for the Atlas Lions, Amrabat is being monitored by multiple European elites including Chelsea.

With the future of both Kante and Jorginho in the air, Amrabat could be a fantastic addition to Graham Potter’s team.

Chelsea are very close to signing Molde’s David Datro Fofana in January, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Chelsea have reached full agreement with Molde, with personal terms still being discussed with the player. The 2002-born Ivorian will be signed for over €10 million.

According to Nizaar Kinsella, in his report for the Evening Standard, Atletico Madrid have offered Chelsea two forwards: Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.

The Blues will be in search of a forward in the January transfer window after Armando Broja suffered a season-ending injury. The report further mentioned that the club will have a chance to sign Barcelona’s Memphis Depay too.

Chelsea have shown interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Youssofa Moukoko as well.

Chelsea signed highly talented Italian midfielder, Cesare Casadei, in the summer from Inter Milan. According to The Athletic, Casadei is one of the players that could potentially be loaned out in January by Chelsea. Potter used the youngster in the first team training in Abu Dhabi.

Chelsea have reportedly made an offer for German wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko, according to Sky Sports. The North London outfit would receive major competition from multiple European clubs as Chelsea look to sign a forward in the upcoming transfer window.

Although Moukoko’s future would depend on which club offers him constant starts as the Borussia Dortmund starlet isn’t interested to sit on the bench.

Chelsea’s stance on signing Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t changed, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Despite Football.London claiming that Chelsea might once again chase Ronaldo in January to solve their attacking problems, the transfer pundit has cleared the air shrouding the Portuguese’s transfer.

“I can confirm again that Chelsea are not currently in the race for Cristiano Ronaldo, there are no negotiations ongoing, even though Todd Boehly was interested in the summer, before Thomas Tuchel blocked the deal.” explained Romano.

As per Fichajes, Chelsea are eyeing Barcelona’s French forward Ousmane Dembele to upgrade the forward battery.

Dembele has been sidelined owing to injuries for a large chunk of his tenure in Spain, but since Xavi’s appointment the French forward has seemed to rediscover his lost touch.

The Blaugranas have tied Dembele to a contract until 2024, but his €50m release clause would tempt Chelsea to put a deal on the table.

While speaking to Givemesport, transfer pundit Dean jones confirmed that Chelsea is currently leading the race to sign Rafael Leao.

The Portuguese winger had been on Blues’ radar for quite some time, and the North London outfit are ramping up their efforts to sign the youngster should Milan allow a transfer.

Leao, 23, is entering the final 18 months of his deal at the San Siro. While Milan have been locked in talks with Leao’s entourage, the parties have yet to find an agreement over the terms of an extension on the winger’s current deal.

Now, according to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Chelsea are prepared to pay Leao a ‘monstrous salary,’ and will try to lure the Rossoneri chiefs with a proposal of around €100 million, aiming to persuade them to part with their star winger in January.

On top of that, the Blues are ready to pay the player’s due of a reported €20m compensation to his former club Sporting CP to settle the ongoing ownership issue.

The report explains there are ‘alarms’ ringing in Milan as the Italian outfit brace a mega winter offer from Chelsea for their Portuguese star in January.

According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea have made contacts with Dusan Vlahovic’s agents over a possibility of a transfer.

The Blues have already had a major injury concern with striker Armando Broja sidelined for the remainder of the season.

The North London outfit currently lack a poacher in front of goal and Vlahovic could fit that profile perfectly. With the Serbian expected to leave Turin, Graham Potter and co. could make a bid for the young striker.

According to Spanish media outlet SPORT, Chelsea is monitoring Rafa Marin from Real Madrid. The 20-year-old defender has several European elites following him and the Blues are one of them.

With Thiago Silva reaching the twilight of his career, Marin could give Potter’s backline a fresh sense of energy.

According to journalist Simon Phillips, Mexican midfielder Edson Alvarez is waiting for Chelsea to approach him with an offer.

Alvarez was previously linked with a move to the North London club but Ajax refused the deal. But now with both N’Golo Kante’s and Jorginho’s future insecure at Chelsea, the club could make a move for Alvarez in January.

Speaking to Give Me Sport, he said: “I’m told there’s still tentative interest from Chelsea’s side in Alvarez. Obviously, they tried to sign him on deadline day in the summer. He was very keen to go. It looked at one point Ajax would accept our offer, but they didn’t in the end.

Chelsea’s Italian midfield maestro has been heavily linked with a move away from the North London outfit. But the Blues are making one last effort to keep their veteran in England.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Chelsea have scheduled a meeting with Jorginho before Christmas to discuss his future and to offer him a new deal.

The club are expecting that the 30-year-old would put pen-to-paper and will continue his tenure in England.

Transfer expert Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Chelsea re still in the hunt to sign AC Milan forward Rafael Leao despite seeing a €70m bid being rejected by the Italian outfit.

Milan, reportedly wants the amount mentioned in Leao’s release clause (€150m) if they want to sign the Portuguese striker.

But despite all the hassle it’s been reported that the young Portuguese striker is himself not satisfied and wants a switch from Milan, with England and Spain being mentioned as his possible destinations.

According to The Athletic, many Premier League clubs believe Chelsea are close to securing a deal for Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko.

Moukoko has impressed for Dortmund this season, showing talent far ahead of his young age. However, the striker’s contract expires at the end of the season, with a renewal looking unlikely.

Chelsea recently lost Armando Broja to injury, with the Albanian most likely out for the season. While a deal is far from agreed, by signing Moukoko they may secure their main forward for the upcoming decade.

AC Milan are in the market for various profiles and have shortlisted some players. The Italian side have identified Chelsea’s Armando Broja as an option, according to MilanNews.

However, an injury in a friendly game recently could put them off.

AC Milan have been linked with Ziyech for a while now and following his strong showings at the World Cup, the Chelsea winger looks to be in demand. Milan are still hoping to add the Moroccon winger to the team, according to reports by Milan News.

Player’s wages could prove to be an obstacle for the club and would require Ziyech to push for a move as well.

Chelsea have placed a €95 million bid on the table for RB Leipzig centre-back Joško Gvardiol, according to Foot Mercato.

The Croatian centre-back has been solid for his nation at the ongoing World Cup, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Barcelona also in the race to sign the player.

Chelsea have entered the race for Atlético Madrid right-back Nahuel Molina, according to MARCA.

The Argentine has been impressive for the Albiceleste at the ongoing World Cup, scoring the opener against Netherlands in the quarter-final.

Atlético could be tempted to sell the player given their financial condition, but Diego Simeone is a big admirer of the player and would want to keep him at the club at all costs, given he is the only natural right-back in the squad.

According to a report from Jeunes Footeux, Chelsea are interested in reinforcing their midfield with the signing of Norwegian defensive midfielder Sander Berge from Championship side Sheffield United.

With Jorginho and N’Golo Kante expected to leave the club at the end of the season, the Blues will be keen to bolster their midfield. Sheffield United are asking for €20 million to sell the player, with Liverpool also in the race.

Following performances at the World Cup Croatian defender Josip Juranovic has grabbed eyeballs across Europe. According to Simon Phillips, Chelsea could line up a move for the Croatian right-back and make him the long-term replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta.

Christian Pulisic’s game time has been limited under new head coach Graham Potter and Premier League clubs have been attentive to his situation at Stamford bridge.

According to reports in the Mirror, Newcastle United are hoping to sign the American international, although they will be hoping to cut Chelsea’s asking price of £40million.

Chelsea are reportedly in the race to sign former Tottenham Hotspur defender, Juan Foyth, who currently plays at Villarreal, according to reports in Fichajes. The Argentine is valued at around €42m.

Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the defender as well.

RB Leipzig’s Sporting Director Max Eberl has indicated that the German outfit could be on the verge of losing Christopher Nkunku, reports THE KINGS.

The French forward has been heavily linked with a move to England with Chelsea leading the race to his signature. And now, Eberl has confirmed the speculation while suggesting that the Blues could be on the verge of signing their star player.

“There is of course a great deal of interest in Nkunku and there is a lot of talk, that’s the way it is. Accordingly, there is a threat looming,” he said.

Hakim Ziyech has been one of the star performers at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, showcasing the real potential the Chelsea winger possesses. He has been outstanding for Morocco, and has put himself in the shop window along the way.

AC Milan have been interested in Ziyech since the summer, far before his current remarkable run of form, and are now ready to make a formal approach to sign the 29-year-old playmaker.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football-Italia), AC Milan are ready to make an opening loan bid for Ziyech, with an option to buy of around €15 million. The Blues are unlikely to stand in the way of Ziyech leaving the club, but it remains to be seen how much they will demand for their prized asset.

According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, as relayed by SportWitness, Chelsea are leading the race to land Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries, who is currently starring for the Netherlands at the World Cup.

The report adds that ‘it is certain’ Dumfries ‘will leave’ San Siro either in January or next summer as the Serie A outfit looks to raise funds in order to balance their books, and the Blues are apparently ‘big favourites’ to capture Inter’s star full-back.

Ideally, the Nerazzurri would like to sell him in January and also have him back on loan for the remainder of the season.

As per Todofichajes, Chelsea is the latest club to join the race to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City.

The winger has had an underperforming season at the Etihad and the Manchester outfit are prepared to let go off their man to fund incoming transfers.

With the Blues looking to upgrade their forward battery, Grealish could be a massive signing for Chelsea.

According to journalist Ciro Venerato (via Sports Witness), Chelsea’s million-dollar winger Hakim Ziyech is set to depart from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues signed Ziyech for a fee of €40m after his exploits for Ajax but the Moroccan forward has failed to replicate his performances from the Dutch league with Chelsea.

Ziyech would leave Chelsea for AC Milan as the Italian heavyweights are hunting for a replacement for Rafael Leao, who is attracting massive interest from European elites.

According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea is the latest club to show interest in American International Yunus Musah.

The midfielder had a scintillating World Cup for his national outfit, and has since popped up on the radar of several European elite’s.

With the Blues looking to bring in reinforcements in January, Musah could be a smart transfer. Although Los Che are trying to offer the youngster a deal to extend his tenure in Spain.

According to media outlet SPORT, Chelsea has proposed a swap deal to Bayern Munich involving Kingsley Coman and Christian Pulisic.

The Blues are looking to offload their American winger after the former Borussia Dortmund player has failed to turn heads at Stamford Bridge.

And with Kingsley Coman himself failing to find a spot in Bavarian’s eleven owing to the presence of Sane and Gnabry, Chelsea wants to bring him to England.

Considering the swap deal won’t ruins either club’s future plans, Bayern Munich could be prepared to accept the offer.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea are plotting a move for Manchester United’s out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho. The young forward has failed to make an impression since his arrival in England.

And after the Red Devils signed Brazilian winger Antony, the former Borussia Dortmund player has fallen down the pecking order.

But despite all the questions shrouding his form, Sancho is a world-class prospect. And with the Blues looking to offload Christian Pulisic, Sancho could easily find a spot in Graham Potter’s eleven.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Denzel Dumfries’ agent has expressed that he doesn’t want his client’s price to rocket sky high after his outing in Qatar.

Rafaela Pimenta believes hopes that Dumfries’ price doesn’t massively increase otherwise it would be difficult to get him a move.

Currently Chelsea are the front runners to sign Dumfries from Inter and considering Inter’s financial position they would be prepared to accept any bids in the region of 50m for the Dutch defender.

According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea have increased their pursuit of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol.

The young centre-back has had a scintillating tournament in Qatar helping his national outfit in crucial situations.

But the Blues would receive massive competition from other English and Spanish clubs who are also monitoring his current situation as they want to sign him in 2023.

News #Gvardiol: We’ve been told: NO release clause in his contract until 2027. But lots of top clubs informed about him for 2023. #CFC, #MUFC, Real and Barcelona highly involved. According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have made Chelsea’s right-back Cesar Azpilicueta a transfer target.

The Spanish defender has been an integral part of the Blues’ backline for several years but now with him reaching the twilight of his career a switch looks inevitable.

After Los Blancos signed Antonio Rudiger from the English club, Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring in Azpilicueta to Spain.

As per Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea are strongly considering the possibility of signing Inter Milan midfielder Nicolò Barella next summer.

With veterans Jorginho and N’Golo Kanté most likely leaving at the end of the season, Chelsea want to revitalise their midfield with new additions.

Barella won’t come cheap with his value reportedly being set around €80m, therefore Chelsea are looking to include Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan at Inter Milan, as a part of the deal.

Chelsea have been keen on securing the services for Croatia and RB Leipzig defender, Josko Gvardiol. According to reports in Corriere Dello Sport, Chelsea are now set to compete with Spurs for the signature of the 20 year-old.

The German club is expected to demand a fee in the range of around €70-€80 million for the defender.

Chelsea are yet to reach an agreement with French World Cup winner, N’Golo Kante, over a new deal. Chelsea are reportedly looking at young midfielders and there are chances that Kante could leave on free after six years at Stamford Bridge, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Atletico Madrid’s record signing, Joao Felix, is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

“I’ve been told before that he is open to coming to the Premier League as his next destination,” Jones told GiveMeSport. “As soon as that decision is made – if it’s made – then I think clubs like Chelsea will be having a look.”

Chelsea are among the host of clubs who are keen on securing the Portuguese’s signature.

Chelsea are preparing a €40 million bid for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

Bennacer’s contract with the Rossoneri expires in 2024, and with no imminent agreement over an extension, the Serie A giants could well be tempted to sell one of their most important players.

According to Le10 Sport (via Mundo Deportivo), Chelsea are the favourites to sign Vasco da Gama sensation Andrey Santos.

The operation will cost around €15-20 million, an amount which Barcelona are unwilling to spend on the 18-year-old Brazilian.

Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain are the other teams that are said to be interested in the youngster.

According to football journalist Simon Phillips (via Give Me Sport), Chelsea are reportedly ready to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking full-back Jeremie Frimpong.

Chelsea have a long-standing interest in Frimpong, having monitored and scouted him for a number of seasons, but they may now be hurried into a decision as reports doing the rounds that Manchester United are close to signing the Dutch defender.

As things stand, Frimpong is looking likely to sign for Manchester United, but the Blues could attempt to hijack the move as they search for a long-term replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta, who could leave Stamford Bridge in the near future.

Gvardiol is in the thick of an amazing world cup campaign with Croatia that has piqued the imagination of clubs from all across Europe.

Chelsea tried to sign the 20-year-old last summer, but no agreement could be reached, and the central defender ended up signing a one-year contract extension with RB Leipzig.

Per 90min, Blues have taken a step forward and are close to agreeing a deal with the Bundesliga side to bring the Croatian defender to Stamford Bridge in 2023. His existing deal includes a £45 million buyout clause that will only become effective at the end of the season.

The Blues are in discussions with the German outfit and have indicated that they are prepared to pay Leipzig more than the player’s release clause in order to avoid paying the whole £45 million outright and skip the transfer war.

Serie A giants Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, according to football.london.

The 30-year-old Senegalese shot-stopper was Blues’ undisputed number in his first two seasons at the club, but his error-prone performances in the opening stages of the current season have come under increased scrutiny.

Mendy is currently rated at €40 million owing to his contract not expiring until 2025, however Chelsea could be willing to accept a fee closer to £22 million they spent to sign the 30-year-old three years in order to offload him and free up wage bill and some space on their roster for new arrivals.

Josko Gvardiol insists he is happy at RB Leipzig but isn’t ruling out the possibility of a future move to Stamford Bridge.

Gvardiol, 20, was heavily linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window.

Todd Boehly and co made a massive last-minute bid for a possible transfer that would see him land at Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2022/23 season, but the deal never materialised. He then signed a new deal with Leipzig and has since continued to impress.

However, rumours of a move have persisted, and the centre-back addressed the possibility after playing an instrumental in helping Croatia advance into the Round of 16 with a stellar display in the final game against Belgium.

Joško Gvardiol: “Chelsea is a big club, maybe one day I will be there…”, tells @TheAthleticFC @David_Ornstein. 🚨🔵 #CFC“My agent is taking care of my future, I’m happy in Leipzig now. It’s nice to see the links, especially because there is Kovacic. So… you never know!”. pic.twitter.com/wWNgg1sxC1

Chelsea are reportedly in the lead in the hunt to sign RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Leipzig are supposedly ahead of Juventus in the running, who were also interested in the talented 20-year-old’s signature.

The Blues are in the market for a new central defender, with new boss Graham Potter keen to bring in an upgrade on Kalidou Koulibaly, who has not failed to convince so far since his arrival at Stamford Bridge last summer, while Wesley Fofana has struggled with injuries.

The RB Leipzig defender has shone at the World Cup in Qatar, where he was pivotal in helping his side progress into the next round.

Chelsea are said to be following Vasco da Gama wonderkid, Andrey Santos, as are Newcastle. According to reports on CaughtOffside, the deal is not done yet, they are interested but Chelsea are following many talents around the world.

According to football journalist Simon Phillips (via Give Me Sport), Chelsea have made a move to sign AC Milan playmaker Ismael Bennacer, and have a meeting scheduled with the agent of ex-Arsenal player ahead of possibly looking to lure the AC Milan star to Stamford Bridge when the transfer market reopens in January.

Chelsea are seemingly on the lookout for midfield reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window as they look to rejuvenate their ageing midfield roster.

The Blues have been informed that Bennacer’s contract renewal with Milan has reached a deadlock, with Chelsea now interested in signing the 25-year-old Algerian international.

Chelsea are set to announce Christopher Vivell as their new technical director after reaching verbal agreement months ago, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Chelsea are apparently looking to offload former Dortmund star, Christian Pulisic, according to reports by TuttoJuve. The London Blues are looking for a fee in the range of €30 million (£26 million) for the US international.

Chelsea are reportedly aiming to sign Ghana star Mohammed Kudus fron Ajax in the upcoming winter transfer window, according to Fichajes, with Todd Boehly keen to add reinforcements to the team in hopes to revive the Blues’ in the second half of the season.

However, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and PSG will battle it out with Chelsea for the player in what will be a four-way tussle for Kudus.

West Ham United have slapped a relatively reasonable £70 million asking price for Chelsea target Declan Rice amid extensive Premier League interest, according to the Telegraph journalist Matt Law.

Rice, 23, is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium, having entered the final 18 months of his current contract. The England international is open to leaving the Hammers next summer, and is stalling new contract talks, which could force the Irons to cash in on their prized asset.

Rice has become a midfield lynchpin for West Ham for a number of years, and the East Londoners are not expected to consider offers below the £70 million mark.

Chelsea want to sign a new goalkeeper and have identified Leeds United’s Illan Meslier as a target, according to Simon Phillips.

The Blues are reportedly unhappy with Edouard Mendy’s performances since the turn of the year and want to find a new #1.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has dispelled rumours stating that Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic might be on his way out of the club in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The player wants to end the current season at the Stamford Bridge and is highly unlikely to leave unless a “great and interesting offer” arrives after the World Cup.

News #Pulisic: Rumors about Dortmund, United & Newcastle not hot. Been told that he wants to stay at #CFC in winter! He really tends to this plan. It’s done. Fabrizio Romano has all but given his trademark “HERE WE GO” for the Christopher Nkunku transfer to Chelsea.

The Blues already completed the medicals for the Frenchman, paying his €60 million release clause. The RB Leipzig forward will sign a long-term deal with Chelsea and will join them next season.

According to Simon Phillips (via GiveMeSport), Graham Potter has made the signing of Robert Sanchez a priority at Chelsea. Potter wants to reunite with the Spanish goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge as the English manager aims to bring reinforcements in that area.

With Kepa struggling with injuries and Mendy falling down the pecking order, Potter needs a strong shot-stopper to fulfill the hopes of Todd Boehly.

Sanchez’s contract at Brighton runs until 2025 and the goalkeeper will have an expensive price tag attached to his name if he decides to switch.

Inter centre-back Milan Škriniar is on Chelsea’s radar, according to FC Inter News.

The Slovak was close to signing an extension with the Nerazzurri, but reportedly wants €6.5 million plus bonuses instead of €5.5 million plus bonuses, which has forced delays in the renewal.

According to The Mirror, the scouts at Chelsea are monitoring young Ecuadorian centre-back Piero Hincapié, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen and is one of the best young defenders in Germany.

The 20-year-old has been impressive for his country at the World Cup in Qatar, and Chelsea would love to have the player join them as a successor to Thiago Silva, who is 38 years old.

Mason Mount has reportedly rejected a whopping offer of £200,000 a week from Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail. The English midfielder’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the summer and despite him being a crucial piece in Chelsea’s midfield the two parties currently stand in a disagreement.

According to the report, Mounts wants to garner a salary worth £300,000 a week which is close to his England teammate Raheem Sterling.

The 23-year-old is one of the lowest earners at Chelsea and therefore his demands look understandable considering the growth in stature at the club.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Chelsea has entered the race to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. The Portuguese youngster has had an awful stint in Spain according to his standards and has continuously been dropped by Diego Simeone.

And Felix had finally expressed his desire to leave and Chelsea approached his agent to formalize a deal. If Felix has few good outings in Qatar he could be on the verge of making a big-money move to Chelsea.

Chelsea’s CB, Trevoh Chalobah, has signed a new long-term extension with Chelsea which will keep him at the club until June 2028, with the Blues having an option to extend till 2029.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea is prepared to shell out £200m for the signature of England internationals Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham. The club has been looking to revamp its midfield and it looks like they are interested in the duo of Bellingham and Rice.

Both Jorginho and N’golo Kante are out of contracts at the end of the summer, with Graham Potter hunting down the possible replacements

The Blues have been circling around the duo for a really long and might receive severe competition from other English clubs, especially for Bellingham.

Spanish publication Relevo has reported that Chelsea is currently the frontrunner to sign Diogo Costa from Porto. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has garnered massive interest from across Europe, but the Blues have reportedly contacted the Portuguese international for a move.

Although Chelsea have the likes of Arrizabalaga and Mendy in their ranks, Graham Potter had been hunting for reinforcements in that position.

Costa has a €75m release clause in his contract something the North London outfit is prepared to meet.

Calciomercarto has reported that Chelsea is interested to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus next summer. The French midfielder was influential in his team’s first victory in Qatar and could be pushing towards a move away from Italy.

The Blues are prepared to offer him a contract worth €10m-a-year to get his signature.

As per Football Insider, Chelsea are soon going to begin negotiations with Brighton for in-form winger Leandro Trossard to sign him in January.

Trossard has impressed this season with 7 goals in 14 games. Chelsea manager Graham Potter reportedly wants the winger as he is familiar with him due to his time at Brighton.

However, Brighton aren’t willing to sell the player in the winter and will trigger a one-year extension to prevent his contract from expiring at the end of the season, states the report.

🚨 FI SOURCES! 🚨- Chelsea are ready to open preliminary talks with Leandro Trossard. 💬- Brighton are not willing to sell the £25m-rated winger in January. ❌- His contract is up in June – but the Seagulls have the option to extend his deal another year. 🔜#CFC #BHAFC

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will soon get in touch with local rivals West Ham United to discuss a possible move for midfielder Declan Rice.

Rice was once a part of Chelsea’s esteemed youth academy, however, he was released when he was 14. Since joining West Ham he has made the Blues regret their decision by becoming one of the best midfielders in England today.

Chelsea will also be hoping to renew Rice’s close friend Mason Mount’s contract to help their bid to sign the West Ham skipper.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Chelsea will sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku for a fee of €70m next summer.

It has been widely reported that Chelsea signed a pre-agreement with Nkunku long back, however, there were rumours suggesting the Blues want to bring him in immediately after the World Cup.

As per Jacobs, leaving RB Leipzig in the middle of the season was never the intention of Nkunku and he will join Chelsea only at the end of the season.

According to Football.London, Chelsea will compete with Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Anthony Gordon should their London rivals reignite their interest in the Everton midfielder during the upcoming January transfer window.

The 21-year-old was subject of multiple bids from the Blues during the summer transfer window when Thomas Tuchel was in charge.

Everton sought in excess of £60 million for the youngster, but Chelsea were not prepared to exceed their £40 million valuation. Tottenham had asked about him earlier in the summer but scoffed after knowing the hefty price tag.

According to CalcioMercato, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has decided to sell striker Romelu Lukaku permanently next season.

Lukaku is currently on loan with Serie A side Inter Milan, for whom he played before joining Chelsea in 2021. Earlier reports suggested the Belgian would continue at the Milanese club for another year on loan next season.

However, Chelsea have decided against it and want to cash-in on Lukaku before he ages further and declines in his performances.

According to The Sun, Chelsea are interested in signing Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and will keep a close eye on him throughout the World Cup.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy have been battling for the first-choice goalkeeping position at Stamford Bridge, but neither has done enough to convince manager Graham Potter that they are the best long-term option, with the former Brighton boss on the lookout for goalkeeper who will be comfortable with the ball at their feet.

Jordan Pickford has now been identified as a possible alternative for Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.

Pickford, 28, has clearly established himself as England’s number one and has been in excellent form for Everton this season.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea could be at risk of losing their star forward Kai Havertz to Real Madrid. Although the German’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires in 2025, Los Blancos are looking to hunt another striker after the World Cup in Qatar.

With Benzema’s contract expiring in 2024 and Nkunku being heavily linked to England, Carlo Ancelotti wants to strengthen his forward battery by bringing Kai Havertz to Spain.

The Daily Mail has claimed that Chelsea could be eyeing Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey in the upcoming summer window.

The former Bayern Leverkusen forward had attracted interest from the Blues during his stint in Germany and now Graham Potter wants to get him to Stamford Bridge.

Another factor is that Christian Pulisic is pushing for a switch away from North London and Leon Bailey could serve as the perfect replacement for the American forward.

English news publication Mirror has reported that Chelsea is continuing their pursuit of Manchester United’s legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese made some jaw-dropping revelations in an interview with Piers Morgan and now the Red Devils are looking to terminate his contract preventing him to pocket his wages of £ 500,000-a-week.

If Manchester United sack Ronaldo, then the 37-year-old will become a free agent and could join any club with the Blues currently emerging as the frontrunners for his signature.

The Blues would want a striker to partner up with Aubameyang as they have sometimes failed to find the back of the net this season. And Cristiano Ronaldo could perfectly be the goal-scoring machine they are hunting for.

The Express has reported that Chelsea is planning to identify the successors of Mason Mount if the English midfielder does not sign a contract extension with the Blues.

Mount is currently being chased by Liverpool and Juventus who are constantly monitoring his situation at Chelsea. And Chelsea’s hierarchy is looking to draw out a contingency plan in case Mason Mount’s contract extension talks take an unwanted turn.

According to the report, RB Leipzig’s forward Christopher Nkunku could be the right man for this role. And if everything functions smoothly, the French forward could be donning the Blues’ jersey next summer for the transfer fee of £52m.

90min has reported that Chelsea could be targeting Villareal’s center-back Pau Torres in the upcoming transfer windows. The Spanish defender has been exceptional in defense for the Yellow Submarine and could be an ideal player for Graham Potter.

Although Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs are also chasing Torres, Chelsea is in a pole position to sign the young defender.

Torres’ contract with Villareal ends in 2024 and he could be destined to move to England for a fee in the region of £44m.

Calciomercato has reported that Chelsea is trying to lure French midfielder Adrien Rabiot to Stamford Bridge. The Juventus midfielder was destined to move to England last summer as Manchester United was chasing his signature before the move failed.

But now the Blues are the latest club to be circling around the 27-year-old. Rabiot is an experienced defensive midfielder and could help the North London outfit fill the hole that Kante’s absence has left in the center of the field.

The French midfielder’s contract with Juventus expires this summer and it looks like he’s not interested to extend his stay in Turin, giving Chelsea a shimmer of hope.

While talking to GiveMeSport, journalist Pete O’Rourke exclaimed that Chelsea is going to closely monitor Portuguese winger Rafael Leao at the World Cup in Qatar.

With Portugal missing some senior forwards, Leao could have a standout tournament. And with AC Milan struggling to extend Leao’s stint at San Siro, a move to Stamford Bridge could be imminent.

According to reports, the Italian outfit would accept offers in the region of €100m, something the Blues would be prepared to fork out for Leao.

The journalist said: “I’m sure they’ll be keeping a close eye on him during the World Cup, and if he does really well for Portugal, Chelsea will be very keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge.”

Chelsea’s shot-stopper Edouard Mendy has given a statement after there have been questions shrouding his future at Stamford Bridge. Mendy has fallen out of favor under Graham Potter and the goalkeeper’s quality has dropped this summer.

And now Mendy has currently stalled any contract extension talks with the Blues.

The Senegalese keeper’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2025 but football fans are finding it unusual for the dialogue to be continuously stalled between the two parties.

Although Mendy has exclaimed that his sole focus is his international squad and the grand tournament in Qatar and he’ll think about the Blues after the World Cup.

Speaking to Wettbasis, he said: “I am in Qatar primarily to represent my country and do everything I can to ensure that we have a successful tournament. We’ll see what happens next with the Blues.

As per Todo Fichajes, Inter Milan are prioritising the signing of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kanté next summer.

Kanté’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, with reports suggesting the French midfielder will not renew with Blues.

Inter Milan are looking to reinforce their midfield, especially with the possibility of Marcelo Brozović leaving next summer.

As per Fichajes, Chelsea’s main objective for the upcoming winter transfer window is to complete the signing of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot’s contract with Juventus expires in June, with many clubs looking to sign him for free. Chelsea are looking to jump ahead of everyone else and secure his signing by paying a low transfer fees.

Latest reports from England have found that Chelsea will keep close tabs on Dutch international Frenkie De Jong in the upcoming World Cup. The Blues are looking to rebuild under the new leadership of Graham Potter and the English manager has been fond of De Jong for long.

With Barcelona looking to offload the midfielder, the North London outfit can swoop De Jong if he makes an impression in Qatar.

Memphis Depay has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona, making just two starts this season and could be on his way out.

After rejecting Chelsea last summer the Dutch forward is now open to move to Chelsea thanks to their participation in Champions League, according to reports from AS (via Sport Witness).

La Repubblica has claimed that N’Golo Kante will leave Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. He is apparently interested in moving to Serie A, with clubs like Inter Milan and Juventus potential destinations.

Kante has struggled with injuries of late and Chelsea are prepared to let him leave on a free when his contract expires in 2023.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea will be looking to sign Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembélé again next season. The Blues were interested in signing the Frenchman for free in the last window, but the 25-year-old renewed with Barca.

However, he has once again emerged on their radar after reports have emerged stating Dembélé has a €50m release clause from next summer onwards. Chelsea will be looking to finally secure his signing by triggering the release clause next June.

Mason Mount is one of the pillars at Chelsea and has been a vital part of the squad. The Blues are hopeful of reaching an agreement for a new contract in January according to reports from The Athletic.

Mount’s current contract runs out in 2024 and while the talks are progressing well, nothing has been agreed yet.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is considering leaving the Blues due to limited game time under manager Graham Potter.

Since Potter has taken charge at Stamford Bridge, he has preferred Kepa Arrizabalaga over Mendy, with the latter only featuring when the former was injured.

With Kepa likely to start once the World Cup is over, Mendy wants to move to a team where he will be a regular first-team player, with a move back to the Ligue 1 reportedly his priority.

Speaking to Sport-Express (via Sports Mole), Dynamo Moscow winger Arsen Zakharyan confirmed that Chelsea are negotiating a move for him with his club.

Chelsea had triggered his release clause of £12.6m in the summer transfer window, however, due to the current sanctions on Russia by the United Kingdom, the move fell.

However, it seems Chelsea are trying to find a way to overcome the sanctions and bring Zakharyan to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Express, Chelsea manager Graham Potter doesn’t want the club to sign wantaway Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo in January.

Potter doesn’t see Ronaldo as an addition who fits his tactics and vision for Chelsea, and therefore wouldn’t like the Blues to sign him.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly wanted to sign Ronaldo in the summer, however, former manager Thomas Tuchel espoused similar views to those held by Potter.

According to journalist Jorge Nicola on his YouTube channel, Chelsea are the frontrunners to sign highly-rate Palmeiras starlet Endrick.

The 16-year-old Brazilian winger has caught the eye of many clubs with his performances at both youth and senior levels. Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are interested in Endrick as well, but it seems the Blues are closest to securing his signing.

Football fans all over the world woke up with a shocking news when Cristiano Ronaldo revealed a few snippets of his interview with Piers Morgan. The Portuguese striker took digs at his boyhood club and went ahead to question current manager Erik Ten Hag.

Now according to Evening Standard, Ronaldo will be looking for a new home after the World Cup in Qatar and it looks like Chelsea could be the frontrunners to acquire his services.

Chelsea’s owner Todd Boehly previously wanted to purchase Ronaldo but couldn’t because of Thomas Tuchel’s lack of interest.

Now with Stamford Bridge experiencing a change in managerial structure, Boehly could fulfill his wishes of signing Cristiano Ronaldo in January.

Fabrizio Romano in his exclusive CaughtOffside column has explained that despite there being claims of Mason Mount’s contract extension being stalled, the English midfielder will surely stay at Stamford Bridge.

Mount’s stint with the Blues ends in 2024 and according to Romano discussions have been ongoing between the two parties for even if it’s not been presented yet.

“Despite some speculation doing the rounds, I’m told there have been talks ongoing for a long time between Mason Mount and Chelsea,” Romano explained.

“It’s still not done but it’s under discussion, and for Chelsea it’s seen as an important priority to extend Mount’s deal.

Graham Potter has Chelsea’s “total backing,” despite the fact that the new manager has presided over three consecutive Premier League losses.

The Blues are adamant that Potter is the ideal person for the position, according to The Athletic, even if some fans are already growing impatient with Potter.

Potter has already been assured of Chelsea’s support, and there is a strong belief around the club that Potter “has been appointed for future seasons, not just this one.”

Out-of-favour Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is reportedly on the radar of Serie A giants AC Milan, who want to sign the player in January, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serie A champions are ready to sign the Moroccan, who will probably cost less than €20 million.

Fichajes has reported that Graham Potter’s Chelsea is the first club to show interest in the signature of Ivan Toney. The Brentford forward is currently one of the most in-form strikers in England.

Despite him missing out on the English squad’s flight to Qatar, Chelsea will have to fork out a good sum for Toney’s services.

Toney’s contract with the Bees expires in 2025 and could cost Chelsea €50m. But with the Blues lacking a forward in their team, Graham Potter could make Toney a priority next season.

The Telegraph has reported that the contract extension talks between Mason Mount and Chelsea have hit a dead wall. The talented midfielder has entered the last 18 months of his contract and the Blues are trying their level best to keep their academy graduate at Stamford Bridge.

But despite all the efforts by the Blues the two parties aren’t on the same page and there is still work to be done to reach a conclusion.

Graham Potter has reportedly identified Roma’s captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and Villareal’s Yeremy Pino as Mount’s successor. But the English side are hopeful that they’ll convince Mason Mount to stay at Stamford Bridge

Brighton’s mind-boggling winger is on the radar of Chelsea according to reports from the Mirror. Graham Potter is aiming to raid his former team and pick out some of the best prospects with Trossard being right up there.

The Belgian forward has claimed that if Chelsea come knocking on the door he wouldn’t mind switching ships and joining former boss at Stamford Bridge.

Trossard’s excellent goal-scoring ability is known to the whole world and with the Blues lacking a proper goal scoring machine, Trossard could surely fill that category.

Talking to the press before the fixture against Newcastle(h/t Football.London), Graham Potter has revealed his plans to not sign new players in the winter transfer window. The newly appointed manager feels that the current catalogue of players still has more to prove and the manager’s focus is on improving Chelsea’s performance. Potter mentioned that the Blues are missing a few key players and once they return they could change the fortunes at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are languishing at 7th place in the Premier League, with a defence struggling with both form and injuries.

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the Blues might look towards Atlético Madrid’s José María Giménez as someone who could add some much-needed depth and experience to the defence.

The Uruguayan could be tempted to leave Spain after Los Colchoneros failed to progress to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Rojiblancos, struggling with their financial conditions at the moment, could let the centre-back leave if a good offer arrives.

Brazilian prodigy Endrick has been subject to interest from several major European clubs. The 16-year-old is one of the most sought-after talents in world football.

Chelsea recently hosted his family at the Cobham training facility in order to lure the Brazilian. Endrick is believed to have spent time with veteran Thiago Silva as well, according to The Times.

Simon Phillips has told GiveMeSport that Chelsea are targeting Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Caicedo has been exceptional for the Seagulls and would look to join former boss Graham Potter at Chelsea.

With Jorginho and N’Golo Kante looking unlikely to extend their contracts at Stamford Bridge, the Ecuadorian player could join Chelsea at the end of the season.

Chelsea could be on the verge of losing N’Golo Kante with the 31-year-old midfielder receiving interest from France. The French midfielder is a popular name in North London and losing him could cost the Blues.

While they fear that N’Golo Kante could join Arsenal, new offers from PSG could make the transfer inevitable.

With Graham Potter planning a rebuild, a player like Kante could hold Chelsea’s midfield together despite his multiple injury concerns. With the veteran’s contract expiring in 2023, the club will have to make a decision quickly.

Graham Potter’s rebuild at Stamford Bridge continues with Lyon’s right-back Malo Gusto being the latest transfer target according to CaughtOffside. The Blues have looked vulnerable at the back on multiple occasions and with right-back Reece James injured, Potter would want to bring the Lyon defender onboard. The 19-year-old has turned out to be a constant starter for the French club and could be lured to play in England.

Give Me Sport has reported that Graham Potter has ruled out a transfer for Armando Broja from Chelsea. Reportedly the new manager is happy with Broja and wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge. Multiple rumours have linked Broja away from North London with clubs like AC Milan and Atletico Madrid leading the race. But with Chelsea lacking a backup striker for Aubameyang, a switch for Broja looks impossible.

CaughtOffside has reported that Chelsea is prepared to battle it out with Manchester United for the signature of Jeremie Frimpong. The Dutch defender has been on the Red Devils’ wishlist and now the Blues are also targeting the young right-back. With Reece James injured for the World Cup and beyond, Graham Potter needs a solid right-back to bolster his backline. Potter has previously played Sterling and Loftus-Cheek in unfamiliar right wing-back positions and a player like Frimpong could fit the criteria better than the duo.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea wants to sign Denzel Dumfries in the January transfer window. The Inter Milan defender would cost the London club a fees around €30m, something the Blues are prepared to pay. The reports further states that Dumfries was a target in the previous window as well but he continued to stay in Italy. With Graham Potter aiming to rebuild his defense, the Dutch defender could be one of the favourites to arrive at Stamford Bridge.

CaughtOffside has reported that Atletico Madrid defender Jimenez has caught Chelsea’s eyes and the club could aim to bring him in January. Despite spending largely on defensive reinforcements this summer the Blues have conceded goals in crucial fixtures. And reportedly Graham Potter is interested in acquiring the Uruguayan centre-back to bolster his backline.

Graham Potter’s Chelsea are the latest club in the hunt for Endrick from Palmeiras. The 16-year-old could join the Blues in 2024 for a whopping price of €60m. Although Real Madrid and PSG are also leading the race to sign Endrick, Todd Boehly would be hoping to obtain the Brazilian’s services considering Chelsea’s rollercoaster form this summer.

Chelsea have been misfiring in front of goal this season and are looking for solutions in the market. The Blues have identified Stade Rennais forward, Martin Terrier, as a potential solution to their struggling attack, according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.

The French forward scored 21 goals in the league for Rennes last season.

Alexis Vega has emerged on the radar of several big clubs in Europe. The 24-year-old is predominantly a left-sided winger but is versatile enough to operate as a centre-forward and a right-winger as well.

According to Give Me Sport, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool will keep a close eye on the Mexican winger at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Chelsea are ready to continue transfer splurge with a transfer swoop for Porto winger and Arsenal target Pepe, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola.

However, the Blues have been told that the Brazilian is not for sale for anything less than his £59million buyout clause.

Barcelona do not want to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho at the end of the next season because of the player’s high wage demands, according to TodoFichajes.

The report further suggests that the Italian wants an annual salary of €10 million, in addition to a signing fee of €12 million, something which the Catalans won’t be happy to offer due to their financial constraints.

As per Talksport, Chelsea are no longer interested in Everton starlet Anthony Gordon whom they tried to sign in the last transfer window.

Gordon was highly rated by the Chelsea administration, however, they couldn’t agree a deal with Everton. Reportedly, rivals Tottenham Hotspur will swoop in for the winger and try to lure him to North London.

Fichajes has reported that Barcelona is keeping close tabs on Chelsea target Josko Gvardiol. The Croatian center-back has been on the Blues’ radar for a long time but now Barcelona has also joined the race to get his signature. Considering Barcelona is seeing Gvardiol as Pique’s replacement, Chelsea needs to make a move for him in January.

Jorginho, 30, is out of contract at the end of the season and he’s received interest from Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan. And the Italian playmaker appears to be angling for a move away from Stamford Bridge.

While Chelsea are keen to keep the Italian, the player’s ludicrous demands are stalling any contract extension talks. The 30-year-old vice-captain has asked for a pay rise that would see his salary double despite turning 31 next month.

Jorginho currently nets around £5.5 million a year after tax. According to Spanish outlet Sport, he demands that hiked to a net salary of £12 million a year. Moreover, it has been reported that he is using Barcelona and Juventus interest as a leverage in negotiations.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea are reportedly set to face competition from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign full-back Denzel Dumfries from Inter in January.

Dumfries, 26, has been consistently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the last year or so, with recent reports suggesting that they could revive their interest in the Dutch defender in the January transfer window due to Reece James’ injury, which has left them without a natural wing-back option on the right side. However, Spurs have now jumped the bandwagon of suitors to sign Dumfries, and are even ready to propose Emerson Royal in a swap deal for the Dutch international.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea are ready to terminate Denis Zakaria’s loan deal in the upcoming January transfer window.

Zakaria, 25, made his Chelsea debut against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and topped it off with a debut goal before hobbling off the field injured.

Despite his impressive display, manager Graham Potter does not see him as an important part of his future plans, and the Blues have no plans to trigger the permanent option clause worth €28 million.

Chelsea have joined the long list of clubs in the race to sign Brazilian prodigy, Endrick. According to reports from Jorge Nicola (via SportWitness), Chelsea are monitoring the 16 year-old forward and are looking to launch an offer in the coming days.

The youngster has scored 6 goals in 7 matches in Copinha and has chipped in with 3 goals and 1 assist in Serie A Brazil. He is currently being scouted by multiple big clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has taken Serie A and Europe by storm with his scintillating performances this season, scoring eight goals and registering 10 assists so far. Chelsea are reported to be interested in the Georgian.

Christian Emile, Kvara’s agent, appeared on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, where he stated how much the 21-year-old’s market value would rise to by the end of the season.

“He’s come to Napoli, he’s been brilliant, and people are talking about €100 million. For me, if he continues to perform like this till the end of the season and next season, because there’s a zero per cent chance they sell him [in January]. He will reach €100 million for sure,” Emile explained.

Chelsea are considering signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to a report from Fichajes.

The player was close to a move to fellow Premier League side Manchester United in the summer, before the move fell through. As things stand, the Bianconeri will not stand in the player’s way provided the Blues match the asking price for the player.

According to Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos, the Italian midfielder wants to extend his stay at Chelsea.

“I have never met [Barcelona director] Mateu Alemany. Our priority is the renewal with Chelsea. The only club I have spoken to in recent weeks is Chelsea,” Santos told Relevo’s Matteo Moretto.

El representante de Jorginho, Joao Santos, en exclusiva a @relevo: “Nunca me he reunido con Mateu Alemany. Nuestra prioridad es la renovación con el Chelsea. El único club con el que he hablado en las últimas semanas es el Chelsea”.

Chelsea’s Armando Broja is garnering interest from multiple Premier League clubs. The Albanian forward enjoyed a breakout campaign last season with Southampton and has been involved with Chelsea this season. However if Chelsea bring in another striker, Broja could be on his way out.

According to Ben Jacobs, Newcastle United and Everton are monitoring the situation in case he becomes available and will be looking for a loan option with no obligation to buy.

Chelsea have reportedly received a significant boost in pursuit of their summer target and Bayern star Benjamin Pavard.

That’s according to the German outlet Sport1, who claim that the French defender has grown frustrated with inconsistent minutes he has received under boss Julian Nagelsmann and could be open to a move away from the Allianz Arena.

Despite spending the best part of £250m, Blues still have major gaps in their squad, especially in the wing-back department, with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic having to slot there to compensate for the injury absence of Reece James and Ben Chilwell.

Pavard, 26, will enter the final year of his contract next summer, something the Blues might take advantage of given their long-term interest in the 2018 World Cup winner.

Okafor, 22, is one of Europe’s most sought-after players after a red-hot start to the current season with RB Salzburg and has been linked with a host of European big guns such as Milan and Chelsea.

The versatile attacker has addressed question about his next move ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League match against AC Milan at San Siro, but remains undecided between Spain, England, Italy or Germany as his future destination.

“Whether it’s England, Spain, Italy or Germany, every league has a special charm, when there will be something concrete, we’ll assess it,” he told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Italian giants Juventus are taking ‘as much information as possible’ on Chelsea star N’Golo Kante before deciding on whether to make a contract offer for him next summer when the Frenchman will be available for a free transfer.

Kanté, 31, has made 262 appearances for Chelsea since joining from Leicester City in 2016, tallying 13 goals and assisting a further 15, in addition to helping them win the Premier League and the Champions League.

Despite his remarkable contributions to the club in recent past, the Blues do not appear to be keen in extending his current deal owing to the 31-year-old’s growing injury problems.

Injuries have plagued his ongoing season at Stamford Bridge, with the player set to miss the World Cup, and is unlikely to return until the new year.

Shields only joined Southampton in July after an impressive nine-year spell at Manchester City, where he gained a reputation for having a keen eye for young potential while working in the Citizens’ scouting and recruitment department.
