According to Marca, Real Madrid haven’t yet decided whether to extend left-back Benjamin Mendy’s contract or list him on the transfer market.
Mendy has featured regularly for Real Madrid when available, however, his injury problems could be a reason behind the Los Blancos not renewing him beyond 2025, as per the report.

According to today’s edition of Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via Roma Press), José Mourinho is stalling contract extension talks with Roma amid interest from Real Madrid.
The defending UCL champions could part ways with Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season – when his contract runs down – as the Italian coach could choose to retire. That could open the doors for Mourinho’s return to Los Blancos ahead of the next season.
Real Madrid are considering a move to bring back former academy graduate, Fran Garcia, from Rayo Vallecano.

After failing to purchase Kylian Mbappe and Gabriel Jesus last year, the Whites would be hopeful to find themselves a forward in January.
Los Blancos are currently aiming to get Palmeiras youngster Endrick on board. The Brazilian superstar has been influential for his team and Real Madrid want to obtain his services before anyone else. While Chelsea and PSG are also in the race to sign Endrick, the Spanish giants would be hoping to influence him to come Santiago Bernabeu.

According to El Nacional, Cash-rich Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to fork out up to €20 million to sign Real Madrid flop Eden Hazard, who is also being eyed up by Aston Villa.
The Belgium international’s days at the Bernabeu look to be numbered after a massively underwhelming spell in Madrid since he joined from Chelsea back in 2019, with Los Blancos looking to cut their losses after the World Cup.
Marco Asensio had a difficult start to the current season, with Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti limiting him to a bench role in the first quarter of the season. However, the Spaniard has seemingly turned the tables around in recent weeks.
And, according to reports from Sergio Santos, Real Madrid plan to offer Asensio a contract extension during the World Cup break later this month.
Los Merengues are in a rush and want to renew the winger’s contract before January in order to prevent him from negotiating a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club ahead of a Bosman transfer next summer.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund’s €150 million-rated Jude Bellingham. The Englishman is in high demand and has been identified as a top transfer target for Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
Contrary to popular reports, Los Blancos may not be the frontrunners in the hunt for his signing. According to a report by MARCA, Real Madrid are concerned about losing the race to land Bellingham, with Liverpool emerging as top contenders.
The report adds Real Madrid does not want to get involved into a bidding war for the Englishman, whose desire to move to Santiago Bernabeu will play a crucial role in any potential move.

We’ve no preference yet”. 🇧🇷“We’ll decide in the next months, the club that will pay what Palmeiras want and show us the best technical project for Endrick, will sign the boy”. pic.twitter.com/uVusqGbyvt
Arguably the most sought-after young gem in the world of football at the moment, Endrick has made a sensational start to his Palmeiras career.
Amid a whirlwind of rumours linking him to Real Madrid, among other European heavyweights, the 16-year-old shared his thoughts on the same.
“I don’t care, no. I’m at Palmeiras, my head is in Palmeiras. I don’t care who is coming from outside. I’m making my career and giving my life for Palmeiras. Obviously, if one day I go to Europe, my head will be on the team, but I have to do my job at Palmeiras, do my best. I don’t like to see who’s after me, scouting. I just want to play and make my family happy,” Endrick told Globe Esporte.

Real Madrid wanting to capture in-demand Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick is pretty much an open secret by now. They were previously trailing in the race to sign Brazilian sensation, but have moved into a pole position in recent weeks.
It was earlier claimed that both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona were in talks with the 16-year-old to convince him to join them. Now, though, Marca report that Real Madrid officials have travelled to Brazil in order to open talks with Endrick in Sao Paulo.
Endrick has been the centre of Real Madrid’s transfer rumour mill in the last few weeks, and latest updates from MARCA’s Mario Cortegana and Relevo’s Jorge C. Picon state that the 16-year-old’s release clause is in fact between €40 million to €45 million and not €60 million, as reported earlier.
Juni Calafat, the intermediary between the clubs, who is heading the scouting process of the player, has maintained a great relationship with the player’s club and is a good friend of Endrick’s agent Wagner Ribiero. The reports state that the signing will be similar to those of Rodrygo and Vinícius Júnior.
Real Madrid can complete the signing for €45 million plus bonuses that will see the deal rise to a maximum of €60 million. The signing won’t be completed until after the World Cup.
Wolves are nearing an agreement with Ex-Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui to become their next manager after a new round of discussions saw the Spaniard ready to take the position, just weeks after rejecting the opportunity.

Real Madrid flop Eden Hazard could reportedly be set for a shock return to the Premier League with relegation-battlers Aston Villa following the arrival of Unai Emery, according to DefensaCentral.
The report adds that Emery’s has already given the green light to the Villa board to make enquiries about a possible transfer, and will try to lure the Belgian winger to come to Villa Park after the upcoming World Cup.
According to Spanish publication AS via Tribal Football, Real Madrid are prepared to lash out mega-money bid to secure the services of Manchester City’s attack-minded full-back Joao Cancelo.
Cancelo, 28, has been earmarked as a top target for Real president Florentino Perez and his right-hand man Jose Angel Sanchez as they look for a long-term successor to injury-prone veteran Dani Carvajal.
The major stumbling block to any potential deal is that Cancelo has a contract with Etihad that runs until 2027, and is a favourite of Sky Blues’ boss Pep Guardiola, who is unlikely to sanction an exit for his prized asset.
Even if Real somehow manages to convince the Citizens, It won’t be cheap deal as City will not let him go unless for a hefty price believed to be in excess of the €70 million-mark.
Tottenham Hotspur and South Korean talisman, Son Heung-min, has been subject to a move away from the Lillywhites next summer. Real Madrid are among the teams interested in the forward, with the 30-year-old being on Ancelotti’s wish list for the next season.

In a position that is newly-created, former Real Madrid player and coach Santiago Solari has returned to the club as the director of Real Madrid City, Valdebebas.
According to Sergio Santos of Relevo, the Argentine has already begun working at the club in his new role, although the club is yet to make an official announcement regarding the same.
The same report states that Solari will not be taken into consideration to take over the managerial duties in case the club goes through a bad time on the pitch and relieve Carlo Ancelotti of his duties.
One of the most sought-after talents in world football, Endrick, has reportedly made his decision: he wants to wait for Real Madrid.
According to a report from El Debate, the 16-year-old has dreamt to put on the Royal White of Real Madrid since his childhood. Real Madrid’s head of scouting Juni Calafat has also established a good relationship with both the player and his entourage, which has led to Los Blancos gaining the upper hand over other clubs.
Real Madrid have cleared an obstruction that could have jeopardised their pursuit of Jude Bellingham.
According to reports from AS, Rodrygo and Eder Militao have been granted Spanish citizenship which would open up two non-EU spots in the Real Madrid squad. After “Brexit”, English players are categorised as non-EU players.
The report says that now Madrid will be free to go all out in their pursuit of Dortmund midfielder Bellingham who is in great demand.
According to MARCA’s José Félix Díaz, Marco Asensio is inching closer to receiving a contract extension offer from Real Madrid.
The player has been on the fringes this season, following a summer full of speculation that Asensio would leave the club. The 26-year-old, however, has been impactful in his 217 minutes this season, scoring twice and assisting as many times.
Asensio has somehow managed to turn his situation around at the club. His desire was always to remain at Real Madrid.
According to Portuguese publication A Bola (via @MadridXtra), Real Madrid have not stopped monitoring the progress of Sporting CP’s right-back Pedro Porro.
Los Blancos have had their eyes on the Spaniard for a few seasons now, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the club make a move for the player in the near future, especially considering that Dani Carvajal has turned 30.
In the press conference ahead of the league game against Girona, where former Real Madrid canterano Miguel Gutiérrez now plays, Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the 21-year-old left-back.
“[Ferland] Mendy was injured at the start [of last season], he performed well in his absence but he’s one of the players we’re keeping eye on, if he does well there he will come back,” Ancelotti stated (via Infinite Madrid).
Miguel has appeared in every single game for Girona, recording two assists as well. With Ferland Mendy the only natural left-back in the Real Madrid squad, and David Alaba covering on occasion, the club might consider bringing the young Spaniard back in the future.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the club will remain inactive during the January transfer window, in a press conference ahead of the game against Girona.

La Liga winners Real Madrid are reportedly contemplating a summer swoop for 24-year-old English international Fikayo Tomori.
That’s according to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb, which claims that Los Merengues could look to sign another centre-back in order offset the need for a left-back after contract talks with Nacho Fernandez have stalled.
That is because David Alaba, who is currently operating as a central defender under Ancelotti, is capable of operating in the natural full-back role and will act as cover option in that department.
However, that may leave Ancelotti light of centre-back options. To fix the problem, Los Blancos may need to acquire a new defender with Tomori one of two Serie A-based centre-backs on their wish list.
European champions Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Manchester Untied right-back Diogo Dalot, according to The Mirror.
