Sierra dreams of seeing Lionel Messi win the World Cup

Chilean coach Jose Luis Sierra, coach of Saudi Al Wahda, confirmed that he dreams of seeing star Lionel Messi win the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, while sending a special message and advice to the players of the Saudi national team.

“Because Chile will not participate in the World Cup in Qatar, my favorite team is Argentine, because my dream is to see Lionel Messi win the World Cup, and my second favorite team in the World Cup is the Spanish,” Jose Sierra said in statements to Action with Walid TV Show.

He added: “The Saudi team is in a very difficult group with Argentina, Mexico and Poland, let’s leave Argentina aside, it is a very strong team, and Mexico and Poland remain for you, and the Saudi team must play for fun and the players on the field in the World Cup should stay away from all pressures.”

“There has to be a feeling among Saudi national team players saying why not compete with Argentina, Mexico and Poland? And the Saudi team has a lot of special elements so it can compete with Mexico and Poland.”

“I played in Mexico and I know the Mexican team and it is possible to fight and beat it, but the most important thing is to have a passion for the players of the Saudi national team to enjoy the atmosphere of the match and the World Cup.”

He pointed out: “There are distinguished Saudi players like Salman al farag and yasser al shahrani who has great potential, but he did not preserve his potential, and those around him are supposed to keep him as a player with great potential.”

Al Hilal

He added: “Yes, Al Hilal is the strongest team in Saudi Arabia & Asia and this is not my point of view, but the numbers prove that, and I hope to coach Al Hilal, which is a pride for every coach and whoever says otherwise is a liar.”

Sierra added: “There are many special players in Saudi Arabia, including Salman Al-Faraj and Yasser Al-Shahrani, but unfortunately the Saudi team has completeness in all lines except the attack, and with a good striker I am not required to provide a level because the striker finishes the match with a touch.”

He continued: “Honestly, any team will face Argentina will meet a strong team, and from my point of view, the Saudi team should do one thing regardless of the result in the first game, they have to go down to the field and compete man-to-man, for example is Chelsea and Al-Hilal match in the Club World Cup, yes, they lost but also chelsea struggled to win

“When you lose from a team like Argentina, it should be a hard-won, and when you do that, you’ll make Mexico and Poland fear you and consider a great value for the Saudi team,” he concluded.
