Bruno gives Portugal a ticket to cross the groups

Bruno Fernandez led the Portuguese national team to achieve a 2-0 victory over Uruguay, this evening, Monday, in the second round of the group stage in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, at Lusail Stadium.

Fernandez scored Portugal’s two goals in the match, in the 54th and (90 + 3) minutes.

With this victory, Portugal raised its score to 6 points at the top of the group, while Uruguay’s balance froze at a single point at the bottom of the standings.

The match started with an attempt by Uruguay, with a long shot through Oliveira in the 3rd minute.

The response came from Portugal with a shot by William Carvalho, which passed over the goal in the 4th minute.
