Marquinhos: We proved that we can cover Neymar absence

Marquinhos, Brazil defender, believes that the samba players are able to compensate for the absence of Neymar due to injury.

Marquinhos said after the match: “We know how much the national team misses him. He is a great player and makes the difference in difficult moments. He asks for the ball and creates chances.”

“But we have proven that we have good players to make up for Neymar’s absence,” he added.

“The Swiss national team was stronger than Serbia, and this made the match more difficult for us,” he concluded.
